Out of all the videos and comments I've heard, the smartest and most responsible thing I've heard came from this video. "We've got it set at around 1000 because at that point it just becomes too much for these city streets, it's a little too dangerous"
Nice work! I remember building paxton small blocks like 20 years ago and we could not do what you have done here, mainlly because the materials and management was just not invented yet. I can never get enough of that sound and more importantly, that feel. Good job!
I always come back to this video. Super crazy and knowing what the machine can do and street driving kind of safe. This is the vehicle you wanted to show off to girls and friends. Doing safe but showing scary. NICE
Just watching tha video get's my adrenaline going ever time. I have it booked marked and it's just amazing to hear and see it go. Nothing like a lot of horsepower to make you day. As Mr. Nelson said "it's ridiculous" but it's amazing to watch. I don't want a ride in that car unles I'm behind the wheel but it would be fun to hear it on the street do those third gear burnouts. Turbo dump is the new "bad sound" on the street now too and that thing certainly has that too. Thanks again for the thrill ride. Still have this book marked just to share with other. Love it!!!
@Kaegis I doubt they would be off shelf (though in America who knows lol), would be all custom fab jobbies! Just go to your local truck shop and buy some mandrel bends and str8 section and make your own!
Wow! That is Some Power!!!! My guess is that the parachute would give it away though. Really nice video, wonderful work, one heck of a ride. Thanks for the video
The builder of this car is Tom Nelson of nelson racing engines and anyone who thinks that this car is not all that then put your money where your mouth is because Tom Nelson is no joke and is second to none in the racing world and too this very day is winning many awards for just how amazing his work really is. Nascar and NHRA along with many magazine editors go to Mr Nelson because they want his advice. So the next time people talk smack about him put your money where you mouth is or shut up.
@Uunster I put 500hp in a old rusty 67 Chevelle with 4 wheel drum brakes and a wore out steering box.I think the thrill came from oh crap were going to die. It actually pulled a 12.6 with the stock rear end but it had like 3 inches of play in the steering wheel
Thats a pretty badass car, it's kind of like this one I watched that was from the UK I believe it was a 72' Voxel Vectra that go's 0-60 in 1 second and pumps out like 2200hp, it was crazy.
There is a dyno video of this cars engine on NelsonRacingEngines page. The pass they showed was 1200hp with less than 12lbs of boost, most of his engines will handle over 24lbs of boost (on race gas) The user that posted this copy of the video isn't the cars owner or builder.
@Warblade118 im only in high school so i dont understand what u mean by 'race gas lets you run more timing'. all i was pointing out was in the desc. said 1250 hp on pump and 2000hp on race gas. i dont understand
@ShuffleInMotion Supercharging a 305 can be difficult to maintain, unless set up properly it will eat at your camshaft quickly. Try a big block if possible, though I know that's not very cost efficient.
@blackknights94 Well the owner of the worlds fastest street legal car (a 2200hp Vauxhall Victor) says he gets 5mpg with everyday motoring. The MPG of the bugatti veyron is 8 city and 14 highway. It's interesting to note how MPG isn't directly proportional to horsepower. Its all to do with thermal efficiency.
@MikieWolfsz Hey what do you drive thats 400hp? Thats pretty good, I have a 1999 Saab with a Garrett GT20 turbo, cold air, stage 1 performance ECU chip. Puts out 350.
does a car have to be standard to be able to do this to it? i have an 86 camaro automatic with a 305 in it, im looking to buy a supercharger kit for it and bore out the engine. what would u do?
man i already know where im going to buy my bigblock.... this guy knows his shit. need that 2000hp monster engine in a all black dodge charger 1969 with 1968 front bro
The driver of the green Jeep Cherokee probably crapped his pants when they stomped on it behind him "Whaa the hell is that????" LOL Sounds wicked. I wonder if they build motors for Mopars.I need one of those for my 72 Dart ; )
@kjc091 yeah, theres alot of factors to take into consideration. those imports are high quality and should not be frowned upon. they are great automobiles. different technology.
anyone notice at 2:40 the guy downshifted and the car actually went sideways a little bit. its hard to tell but look at the angle of the street during the acceleration
seriously, that's a good deal. only 79k and you got yourself a beautiful guaranteed winner everytime you go to the track. that is, if you can make it to the finish in one piece...
@devilselbow You make a valid point. But this is where it's interesting. Some guys sell cars for roughly 20k that have all those components. Some people lose interest in the project and sell the car for what they can get. That's where the buyer ends up coming in and finishing up the job for 1/2 the cost.
@schrankm not 1 flat but i think some cars can get pretty damn close at least about 1.4 seconds and thats with at least 2000+hp and a nice set of slicks
@matty2k001 its all about your point of view, I love the gallardo but where i live I see supercars every now and then...but ive only seen about 1 or 2 muscle cars in my life so a muscle car is very rare to me, so if I could pick, I'd take a dragster for the street over a slow gallardo
Pretty neat but what does it put to the wheels? Cuz there is drive train loss and are there any actual track videos of this car going 7s? Other then that Sexy time.
@TheRevolutionaryvoic lmao ude do you have a 2000hp street car i dint think so could you control it?? i didnt think so i have trouble controlin my 550hp mustang let alone a 2000hp car, 2 diff. cars buddy and 2 diff. drivers...
lol i love how casually he was like.... (oh yeah i forgot to tell them ) " yeaaah its a 2000 hp big block that will run 7's then cruise around main street as a street/strip car... (goes from 20 to like 135 in like 3 seconds) oh yeah by the way that was half throttle " LOL MOST BAD ASS MACHINE EVER!!!!!!!!
@warfl4g um i drive manual bt yea it is auto i just skipped thru the video and missed the part wit the gear lever i thought this was the same car as i saw in another video which that one had sequential my bad lol
Shanidar...you can be going 5mph in 5th gear? It just goes really slow. You can go slow in a high gear, you can't go fast in a low. Rpms cause u too shift. For instance, some semis without trailers start in 3rd gear they skip 1 and 2 because they're geared so low it barely moves. Staring in 3rd causes it to go faster.
It idles at 900rpm and around 90º Celsius. The engine is a masterpiece, beautiful and powerfull.
I was excited as soon as i heard the fuel pumps start.

If you call to buy the car make sure you speak really, really loud because the owner has trouble hearing...
like screaming
I always come back to this video. Super crazy and knowing what the machine can do and street driving kind of safe. This is the vehicle you wanted to show off to girls and friends. Doing safe but showing scary. NICE
after a trip, they`re completely deaf
I watch this video oh.....3 times a day. NEVER gets old. Absolutely love it.

Love it ;) Looking forward to your 2000 HP street cruise. You know you want to.
Love hearing that "crack the whip" sound of the Turbo
@Kaegis I doubt they would be off shelf (though in America who knows lol), would be all custom fab jobbies! Just go to your local truck shop and buy some mandrel bends and str8 section and make your own!

I do alot of engine work and that thing looks sweet under that hood. NICE JOB!
List to that sound! WOW!!!! I absolutely love this car!!
Lol that thing has more gauges and switchs than the space shuttle. Nice ride!!

imin love with that engine . god it looks so clean
@Warblade118 im only in high school so i dont understand what u mean by 'race gas lets you run more timing'. all i was pointing out was in the desc. said 1250 hp on pump and 2000hp on race gas. i dont understand
Dude that thing is insane! I love it! OMG!!!!! That thing looks scary!
i get where your coming from. it would be good to see it set up for the strip and see some times!
God ole' mighty!! Thanks for posting!
@ShuffleInMotion Supercharging a 305 can be difficult to maintain, unless set up properly it will eat at your camshaft quickly. Try a big block if possible, though I know that's not very cost efficient.
I was waiting for this WOOOoottttTTT !
@RedlightExpressMovie its for drag racing... it has a shift kit in it
Some serious AMERICAN iron! It took some homework and money to build this fantastic machine! I'll bet it is a blast to drive!
@RedlightExpressMovie Automatic gearboxs are better for turbo'd cars, It allows the turbos to keep boost during gear changes
@blackknights94

i love this car what would buy it thank you much dave
I'm sure they include the 100 step start up and shut down sequence manual right?
@MikieWolfsz Hey what do you drive thats 400hp? Thats pretty good, I have a 1999 Saab with a
Garrett GT20 turbo, cold air, stage 1 performance ECU chip. Puts out 350.
@Bastercina I'd love to see you try with a car with that much power.
What is the transmission used to harness the horsepower. First guess, a version of a TH-400?
does a car have to be standard to be able to do this to it? i have an 86 camaro automatic with a 305 in it, im looking to buy a supercharger kit for it and bore out the engine. what would u do?
man i already know where im going to buy my bigblock....
this guy knows his shit.
need that 2000hp monster engine in a all black dodge charger 1969 with 1968 front bro
how can u dislike the sound of that shit!
Nice car. Seems well done.
I've noticed that all the guys that own these sorts of insanely powerful cars all have exactly the same voice.
The driver of the green Jeep Cherokee probably crapped his pants when they stomped on it behind him "Whaa the hell is that????" LOL Sounds wicked. I wonder if they build motors for Mopars.I need one of those for my 72 Dart ; )
Does anyone know what type of shifter that is? Looks pretty awesome!

that blow off valve sounds amazing!
Wicked car! Us Pontiac guys think it's a crime putting a Chevy mill in a Pontiac, but this thing is the exception! What size tire you got under it?
@devilselbow You make a valid point. But this is where it's interesting. Some guys sell cars for roughly 20k that have all those components. the gas stations in your neighborhood must be really lucky xD
WOW is all i can say.....tht is a sweet BEAST!!!..btw what type of shifter is in the car?
@schrankm not 1 flat but i think some cars can get pretty damn close at least about 1.4 seconds and thats with at least 2000+hp and a nice set of slicks
@RedlightExpressMovie
You can shift faster than an auto?
@matty2k001 its all about your point of view, I love the gallardo

I just love to never ending "Domestic vs imports" arguments. Show me an import that can do this from a cruising roll in 3rd. Lol.
at 1:55 and on i just love how he said that was half throttle!
what is the best website to buy performance parts from?
