Got the Korean model for $450. Don't really need the second screen but everything else is top-notch! Was on G6 before ;)

I really wish LG sorted its supply, and marketing divisions. It's a great device but LG don't advertise it correctly and to the mainstream consumer.
They dont need advertisements. People who know Android phones already know about the V50 but still dont buy it? Idk why? I got 2 V50's
@@chigginskeywest How many time have you seen LG phones do a major release with celebrity endorsements. People don't see LG as a major player, in fact the general public have very little understanding of LG phones. The fault is do to marketing. We understand tech so both agree LG has been killing it, but others don't even know they exist.

Thank you for this review. I'm interested in this not necessarily for the dual display nonsense, but for a solid flagship with great screen, good cameras and decent battery. There is a GSM model (V500XM) with all the LTE bands that would give 5G on T-Mobile, AT&T, and a whole host of MVNOs. Unfortunately, this has proven to be as elusive as a Sasquatch. The LG Rep I recently did a live chat with says she'll email me when/if she finds it listed for sale. This Korean version (V500N) that you're reviewing will get 4G LTE for the GSM carriers, but no 5G... so maybe an alternative if I stop caring about 5G. I've also seen info on the LG G8x, but this is missing a telephoto camera. It does also have a good sized battery though at 4000 mAh. Thanks again. Keep posting solid, honest review. Ciao!

My top thing about the V50 is the Price. Just got it for only $200. I'm loving it ! (Also have a V20, V30, V35, and 2 V40's)

Wow 200. Great price I got mine for 320 and this is a beast of a phone. My phone is at 75% after 12 hour shift in hospital. Super snappy ui and great cameras. Rivals pixel and iPhone for picture quality. Although I don't have the 3 prong for dual display. Would of been fun to play around with. Nice job LG

If you want kickass earphones to utilize the Quad DAC - try Soundmagic E80c (64 ohm impedance). Value for money! ;)

I compared the V30 qDAC with the Xperia 5 ii DAC. qDAC is definitely a must, if you want to run about 200 ohms studio headphones. Xperia couldn’t power this studio phone, it was way too silent.
How's the Dac compared to the v50?
Every review all over youtube have the pins on the phone. But they sell un the usa without them?

Very audiovisual phone, maybe that's why it isn't all featured for the masses of with the mainstream gadgets to say something

light led notification not working v50 .Why ?
My v50 looks good on screen but looked crappy after captured. Painty or noisy look. It doesn't look clean as your. What did I do wrong? Help!

All LG cameras suck big time and more on night mode
I don't know about your carrier, but T Mobile has pushed I monthly security patches and Android update to version9 for the V40 ThinQ.
I have had numerous flagship Samsung that never got a security patch much less an Android update. Also, by the end of year one the Samsung's were so slow that they were pretty useless.
Hw did you import the Korean model and approximately how much was the total cost?

Never had that on any of my V phones from LG.
This happens if it's a display model with the screen left on the same display for a long time. Not from casual use just watching videos or surfing the web.
Had a V10, have a V20 and V50 thinq right now. No problem
If only they allowed root like they did in the old days. Then there would be no concerns about updates and whatnot. OnePlus FTW.
