Yes but to be fair, tomb raider had more or less a specific route to follow and graphics were old so it was really easy to tell where's the ledge to jump to. New games are usually more open world and the environment is so well blended that you wouldn't be able to tell that easily where you can jump and where you can't (but even these signals have become more discreet now)
Can't wait for all the comments to complain while revealing they've never touched tomb raider before. It's a grid based platformer. The blocky polygons are essential to the gameplay. The first 4 games are so atmospheric. Especially if you like dark souls, you should try them. No it’s not that they are souls likes but something about the atmosphere is very similar. Hard to explain.
Isolation, ambience and open-ended exploration. It placed emphasis on the levels rather than any specific objective, making the levels characters in and unto themselves.

It would be nice if they also changed some audio in the remastered mode, like lara footprints sound on the snow instead of sounding like she is stepping on some stone floor, and also adding some effect like footprints in snow and sands like in og TR3.
It'd be cool to have a difficulty system that on higher difficulties enemies would be tankier and deal more damage, and maybe even limited save-games (like in TR3) and less medkits (or replace big medkits with small ones or ammo instead). Also, a time-atack/arcade mode for speedrunners.
