I love how it started slightly tamer than the studio version but by the end it was full blown ETID absolute face melting on a late night show lol wish I could’ve seen that air I would’ve been blown away
Slipknot did it also.... Don't fucking judge me I know slipknot is cringe now but when they were supposed to play left behind and they played heretic anthem by surprise because "they won't know the difference" it was legendary
I think this is the perfect tempo for this song. Ratboy was their only drummer who played a bit behind the beat. They've had a lot of great drummers since he left, but none locked in so well with their dirty, groovy sound as Ratboy imo.
anybody else notice the official “We’rewolf” video is nowhere to be found on youtube? on Ferret Music’s page its not available to play in the U.S. what’s up with that?
@@versaviicesmusic248 I'm way late with this reply, but he is keeping tempo. If he was all over with the speed during the performance, THAT's not keeping tempo. Most bands play songs at different speeds that the records.
Dude you guys are hilarious. It's only a few bpm slower. They also slowed it down as they went. They start the song off almost at the exact same tempo as the album version. They were just feeling it this performance and wanted it to be sludgier.
over a decade later and i still can't believe etid played a late night talk show
I just learned and saw this today and I love this album
Lol I wonder if anyone had an idea what they were in for
As crazy as Dillinger Escape Plan being on Conan or Circa Survive being on Fallon
which one of you LUCKY LADIES

I actually prefer this lyric lol
Incredible performance. RIP ETID. They were the best ever.
One of my proudest moments was watching these guys on Kimmel. Been a major fan for 16 years!

Idk, Andy had his shirt off the whole time.
Slipknot did it also....

Definitely
+Ethan Doolittle Ratboy always played slower live.
Not really man. It's a few bpm slower but it's not crucial. It's extremely close to the album version.

What a sic fucking song. Fuck!
Fuck yeah
Is that The Butcher from AEW?!?

It's back up
I wonder why they played it slower than the original version
drummer is playing it slower therefore everyone else is. dude cannot keep tempo.
So Keith can keep up without incident

Maybe it just works better for them live, not better or worse, but just the right rhythm& pace to roll with, I dunno

If your time and efforts allow consider uploading the whole episode to Internet Archive, as the site is more lenient on copyright strikedowns
