So, like, I'm no expert on Sanic but this little collection is pretty neat. It was quite fancy for the time having a really extensive collection of images like artwork cover arts, videos as well as various facts and history of releases. It comes with a preview of what Sonic in 3D could be like (remember than the top row of face buttons changes camera perspective than it becomes playable). And most importantly the games included with it (which I'm not showing cause they will get their own longplays). Unlike the later collections these do not use emulation they have been somewhat reworked to take advantage of Saturn's more powerful hardware, get rid of some glitches and weird slowdowns. This is also the only compilation that includes the version of Sonic 1 in which sonic can spindash (which you can actually toggle on and off). There are also several other extras like Nipples the Enchilada being playable in Sonic 2 and Tails the magical Kitsune being playable in Sonic and Knuckles. You can choose to do extra stages from the menu and even view the manuals. The menus and most extra material is presented in 480i which for the time and the TV's it was displayed on offered really crisp and detailed view of all the manus and the art. The games are thankfully still presented in correct 240p (same goes for videos and the Sonic World). The compilation does omit Sonic CD however considering that game WAS on a CD already I doubd it would even fit on the disc together with all other sonic titles and the extra material. Overall it's an excellent collection disc even if the number of titles included is small compared to the later PS2/GC/XBOX Sonic or Magasis collections. It makes up for it with the cool bonuses and sneak peak at what Sonic Xtreme could have looked like if it were ever actually made.
Jarod Skaff 60fps here is mostly to get the motion blur in the 480i portions to work correctly, the video itself is in 30(or 29.97) frames for the most part.
Jarod Skaff you get the different resolution settings for any video in resolution higher than 240p, also no idea about sonic 3d there are 2 versions, the genesis version runs in 240p for sure while the saturn... I have no clue
Jarod Skaff i searched on forums and it seems to work with 240p but if your pc is so old it uses winxp i'd think twice before buying a capture card that uses usb 3
Are you saying that Tails is playable in Sonic & Knuckles standalone? Or are you referring to the fact that you can play through Sonic 3 & Knuckles with Tails?
I love this game ive been playing this game ever since i was born i 100% all the games and sonic world 100 times and i have played all the blue spheres levels im on level 127 because i restared yesterday (Also the videos on my channel are from my brother) jk
ok so this game is calld sonic jam for absulutly no reason like super mario all stars we have sonic 123 & s&k all on 1 cd unlike super mario all stars this game a lot more to it its got a ton of stuf! the game is relased for both the saturn (playd here) & the game com but only futured sonic the heghog 2 & sonic the hegog 3 this game was desind to outdo super mario all stars

Jarod Skaff looks interesting but you should first make sure it picks up 240p seeing as that is what you want to focus on

I had this the sonic world was a lot of fun. Wish saturn had gotten a full game in this style probably wouldn't have died off so soon.
The Sonic World minigame just says Sonic Pocket Adventure to me due to the music.
