Eh, apparently the ps2 version’s collision detection is kinda wonky but I’ve only ever had issues with rail canyon and bullet station but other than that I do love this game.
The soundtrack is alright, not my cup of tea, especially in stages like grand metropolis or casino park. But it’s quite good at stages like egg fleet or bingo highway
watching casino park again fills me with the same emotion i felt when i first saw the stage as a kid. spent so much time just staring at the skybox around you, it's hard to describe but it's a really odd mix of "yearning" and nostalgia. man, i loved sonic heroes
part of my childhood, hearing the whole intro twice after playing gave me happiness, no one could stop me from turnin' up the volume to 100 while this masterpiece plays.
You didn't play it at volume 100, you would go deaf. No matter how much I liked a song I wouldn't play it at ridiculous volume as that would not only cause damage to my ears it would annoy other people.

this game is an underrated gem!💎 other sonic youtubers are playing this game just to relive the Gloriness of this game, like Tails and Sonic pals, and others.
My biggest pet peeve with this game was that every team went through the same Stages. Each team should have followed a completely unique path considering their opening cut scenes all start out at different locations. I think Egg Fleet phase should have been where they all converged. Still, this is top 3 3D Sonic games for me.
I think to put it this way, Team Dark should have went with different stages like Radical Highway, Lost Colony, Cosmic Wall, and Final Rush to make it more exciting and intense.
One of my fav childhood games but I’m just now realizing how much I tuned out the characters talking during the levels. Like all the “Level up!” And “I’m falling!” And “Let’s go!” every five seconds would probably drive me nuts now lol
I still own this game. Great Sonic game. The cutscenes aged well and the levels are big. I do love how each team has their own reason for adventure and sometimes cross paths then ultimately teamed up altogether on the final boss battle with Metal Sonic. Team Dark is still a tough challenge, though.
Sonic Heroes should've been Sonic Adventure 3 RPG. Where the gameplay is similar to both Sonic Adventure 1 and Kingdom Hearts. (I still like the idea of playing three characters in one team)
For me, I’d start with that team first since it gives you an amazing amount of simplicity meaning that the stages are shorter and easier to achieve an A.
this game is so nostalgic, it looks so good that it still holds up till today! well, can't say anything about the cutscenes, though... but that's what gives the game its charm! the level design is good, the music is such a banger as always, Crush40 never fails to publish amazing songs! Metal Sonic was such a good villain, and not to mention, the designs for his Neo and Metal Madness forms are badass! hope they can have him return and actually make him life threatening again! the song that plays throughout the final battle sure does make you fill with adrenaline! and as someone said before, wish they would change the stages for the different teams to make them a bit more unique, so you don't have to replay the same stages over and over, but overall it's still a good game! 💕
One of my favorites from during my High School Years back in 2004, which I played it from The PS2 Version and also liked watching “Sonic X” from back then too!!! (Wasn’t a Senior till Fall 2005 to Summer 2006 where I did graduated later back in June 2006 though.)

Are we just gonna forget that awesome Team Sonic/Team Shadow byplay in the cutscene before the two teams battle? With Shadow being sarcastic and humorous and Sonic responding in kind... that's one of the times I've ever seen Shadow be any level of 'funny'.
I have so many memories from this :D I used to always prefer Tails because I was so afraid of falling down. Thank you for uploading all the team versions and full levels, all the little sound effects etc are such a nostalgia trip! Loved this game so much as a kid and I still do to this day! Definitely one of my favorite Sonic games in the franchise. I love how you play in teams instead of just playing as Sonic. I love the music and the different levels were nice too, good locations. My favorite team back then was always Team Rose of course. This game and Shadow the Hedgehog have a different type of nostalgia compared to most other nostalgic games. Most other nostalgic games for me give nostalgia of my early childhood to early teens as that's when I first played them. But this game and Shadow were games I played at the suggestion of an old school friend in my early teenage years... instead of childhood memories I get school memories, especially about that friend, and it was only like 2 years ago that I left school. We ended up losing contact.

Speed Guy Yep Sonic and Dark are very much alike. Rose is basically for babies and Chaotix has these lame objectives.
