Mike’s sleeper 2006 Rubicon Unlimited LJ 6 speed with 35,000 original miles. We went with a simple 5.5” Rubicon Express Long arm kit, Fox 2.0 shocks, ARB lockers front and rear, 5.13 gears with Chromoly axle shafts, 1350 CV rear driveline, ARB dual air compressor with onboard air, Rigid LED lights, SPOD switches, Yukon free spin kit with 5 on 5.5 Raceline wheels and 37” tires. Poison Spyder front and rear bumpers with a Warn Zeon 10,000s winch.

Nice rig. You guys have inspired me to have some work done on my Tj. WFO has already done some gear and axle work to my rig. Now WFO will be adding a Rubicon long arm 4.5 to my 2005 and some other mods(addicting). Thanks for the video, I dig those LJ's.

Perfect, beautiful. I prefer the automatic trans. would it possible to install longer front coil springs, so at full flex it doesn't leave the purch? but this looks and drive perfect, love it. Thanks

My ‘04 TJ Rubicon only has 34,XXX original miles, and my ‘06 LJ Rubicon only has 56,XXX miles. Best generation of Wrangler hands down.

These LJ's are amazing Jeeps and regarded as the best by many. I would definitely put them in my top 3. The build is overkill though, these LJ's are plenty capable on 33's. For wheelers with common sense and good off-road instincts, 33's are perfect and 32's on a TJ get the job done.

of course it flexes, but flexing isnt the end of it...look at the body roll due to the sway bar disconnected.. terrible setup w/ the suspension, outdated by 15 years... rubicon express arms hang down like an anchor and risk getting broke due to contact.... the axle upgrades and yukons locking hubs is cool on the build... lowering the jeep rather than a 5.5" lift for lower center of gravity and go highline for tire clearance would have been superior for off-road capability.. so many things need change to make this capable.. decreased the value to anyone knowing at what theyre looking at ... but still worth something cuz LJ
