    Of all the people that post farming videos yours are the best. I grew up on a 4-600 acre family farm in northwest Indiana. Had to move near Chicago so your videos are a lot of enjoyment for me. Thanks Big Tractor Power!

    Very nice to see some big blue power at work. Not something we see very often over here in the UK

      I enjoy watching your TW at work on your great channel. Do you ever see the Series IV FORD FW-60 4wds that were only sold in the UK?

    Great video! Thank you. You have pointed out lots of technology at work with this tractor. Meanwhile, the field is being leveled behind the implement with a bar of steel, pulled by a few chains. Pretty low-tech stuff there, and it works just fine!

    • @bigtractorpower

      It is amazing how technology works in tractors. The classics still work well too.

    The T9.450 can pull 3 to 4 times the coulter chisel that is behind it on this video.

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It sure can. This tractor normally pulls a field cultivator, grain cart and an air seeder. It was hooked up to the chisel to work up this one new field.

    Bigtractorpower - Again, great videos. I started on them after randomly looking for tractor videos for my 2 y/o son, and now neither one of us can get enough!
    My only suggestion after watching dozens of them would be the use of a wide angle or fisheye camera for use during the in cab shots.
    Also, I've seen some of our videos of older, smaller equipment... does this mean you won't always be focusing exclusively on the big hp equipment in the future?
    Keep up the great work!

      Thank you for watching. My main focus is large 4wds and combines but I like all machines so I will film a Ford 8n to a Big Bud.

    Why such narrow tyres?? Less soil compaction the better surely.

    @bigtractorpower I have been a fan for along time I will always enjoy the videos you bring but can we see some old style video? Like couple years back you had a 17 min video of Garnett farms putting on anhydrous ammonia from the cab with no narration which is my favorite video of all time. Thanks for your hard work filming, just wanted to say some of us wanted to see some video with out narration.

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching. I can mix in some just plain farming videos. Narriation has been popular to explain what is happening in the video. It takes allot of extra time to make narrated videos. It is much easier to film and download a video from the field.

    • @collin27
      @collin27 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      bigtractorpower, i know people like to hear narration which is very nice for some who don't farm or adding extra info for people, just thinking a little mix of video would reach to all your fan base..thanks again!!

    correct me if im wrong but it looks like they v ripped or inline ripped it in the fall before this spring chisel?! farmer definitely invested in compaction relif. thanks for the awesome video and commentary!!

    • @bigtractorpower
      @bigtractorpower  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good eyes. They did in-line rip the field in the fall.

    Question: Are all the new Case IH and New Holland tractors the same now? I haven't really kept track of what's been going on with that. I know their hay equipment is the same but are the tractors the same or what differences do they have?

    • @failuretounderstand1
      @failuretounderstand1 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Troy Peel I know the four wheel drives all come off of the same assembly line here in Fargo ND, it's something like 1 New Holland for every 10 Case tractors

    One thing about this tractor I don't get, why do they design the exhaust to point forward? Its a small thing, but I'm curious.

  • @Parents_of_Twins
    @Parents_of_Twins 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have run equipment 8-10 hours a day and I know it's tiring paying attention to the steering and throttle however it would seem really boring just sitting there allowing the tractor to do all the work.

    • @bigtractorpower

      There is still plenty to watch with the implement and field terrain. GPS no doubt takes allot of work out of the operation.

    I wonder if Ryan, Travis, or Dwight from How Farms Work would want to demo this tractor if given the opportunity.

    Hey can someone answer a question for me? Is there such a thing as a non articulated T9? I saw a pick of one but it didnt even look photo shopped?? Unless it was a Magnum with a really good photo shop job on it....

      Nope, the T9 is only articulated ;)

    Why is a T9 pulling that our 110 same explorer good do that there's no need for a tractor like that

      +Azzyman 55 if you have several thousand acres to Till and seed a 400 hp articulated tractor is handy.
