The last two were a bit sad to see They were completely not worth restoring but I bet someone trying to fix one up is crying right now Especially that celica 👍👍
I wish I could go through a week before crushing and buy whatever from cars on the list by the pound. I'd be grabbing all kinds of odds and ends and listing them for sale where people with those cars who need those parts could find them.
Over here in Asia there is a huge Japanese classic car movement. Highly collectible now. That celica in that condition woulda been worth at least 20k.. Sad to see it go.
It makes me a little sad when I see the cars go in the crusher that still have stickers and decals on them. Someone once cared enough about that vehicle to use it to express themselves, to make it unique and their own. It’s like watching a part of someone get erased.
It gets quite intriguing watching the crushed bundle being brought out to some holding area. I keep tuning in, hoping that one day we will all see where these crushed bundles are parked before they get loaded up onto a semi-trailer for their final trip to the steel recycling mill!
Well I'm sure it had many parts that no one obviously wanted, It looked better from a distance than it was. The rockers were pretty rusty, which more than likely means the floors were rotted too.
Sad to see the old Toyota Celica crashed. I have been looking for a filler neck for 1995 Toyota Celica for a while and can't find one that 1 is not rusty 2 not paying $300. for it .
@@Nexus104 I wish people didn't see repairs like that on older cars in that way. It's obviously not feasable to sell it for a profit but i wish more people would buy "cool but not yet classic cars" to have repaired and used as friday night rides or sunday evening cruisers.
Ill remember when those was new Especially 80s see those corolla toyota then 90s came remember Lincoln Continental went new Beautiful car time gone fast now 2023 don't see those cars they great cars to bad cars don't last They old or break down end up in junkyard
wow gosh can ya ijmmagine the history of them OLD OLD cars :( *sigh* that lincoln continental's body looked very VERY STRAIGHT as its owner cared for his / her car very well :( haha an uncle of mine drove a 1994 toyota corolla to texas to visit me and dad !
Ill remember seeing those cars was new now it end up crushed I'll hate seeing those nice cars Getting crushed Lincoln continental Chrysler look not bad Shape .beside engine problems it could be fix only Americans crushed good cars other they fix them sad them crushed nothing can be done to make more junk cars
When is the last time you've ever seen anybody on the road driving one of those? For me it's been years and that's why nobody took parts off of it. And what few you may see are going to be in one of two conditions. Some pristine one that someone bought new and is kept nice and therefore it doesn't need any parts or some ghetto beater that's just barely surviving and will be in the yard in about a year or two anyway and that person doesn't really care to put new parts on it
That faded red Corolla stands out in the twisted mass of white cars. Had a Dodge Dynasty, same thing as the Chrysler New Yorker. Glad to see that one go.

Parts like glass and trim on that Celica is where the money is at.
Ya I could have used the hood and front corner lights off of that Celica.

Sad to see that New Yorker crushed. Also, the red Toyota looked like it was still in decent shape.
Yes, but the Toyota is gay.
@@davesoucy1086 So is the new yorker.
@@davesoucy1086 so are you
Those cars should have been saved
Probably all rusted underneath to the point where they can no longer be safety certified, that Toyota glass bent like crazy

I think that the Toyota Corolla has, or is becoming what the classic Beetle is today.
Being an Enthusiast of both makes, this is hard for me to watch.
@@ajs3994 locally someone paid 60k usd for a S2000. Im in Thailand and we love our old cars.
I had a 77 Celica but it rusted away from the Canadian winters
@@mckessa17 my 1st car was an 84 celica supra. Being 35 kg at the time pushing it then popping the clutch never worked out well for me 😆
Honestly sucks that Rust corrodes the bottom of these cars
How about a tour of the yard. Car prepping, moving, etc.!!!!!!

The buick still had the key in the trunk haha
That wasn't a Buick...it was a Lincoln Continental from the late 80's/early 90's.
The front turn signal assemblies on that 84-85 Celica sell for $75 each on eBay. Oops.

I agree! While the initial crushing we see in these videos is the most exciting part I want to see the next phases too!
Funny how both chrome wheel trim rings popped off on the Corolla
It’s sad to see the Celica go. Even if it wasn’t in the best shape, it could’ve been used as a parts car to save others like it.
Just what I like more crushing action and no talk. 😎😎
The best part's when it busts the windows!!!!!!!!
That Toyota is probably still running, nothing beats Toyota reliability.
RIP 1981 Toyota Corolla 1.8 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

How much fun was it to crush that perfectly good Toyota Corolla?!?!

Enjoyable to watch thanks!
Coralla was a super parts car in the day, I could sell everything and anything off of that car
何かプレスした瞬間がすごく気持ちよく感じる🎵
Am I correct that the reason cars are crushed is so they take up less space before being transported to the shredder?
Not really, while that is a benefit from crushing them it's done so they can stack the cars on the trailer that is taking them to the crusher
Sad to see that celica and the corolla go
I could have used some parts off that Celica for sure, need a set of corner lights and a hood like no ones business.

So sad!! Poor Lincoln and Chrysler...! ='(
Yeah sad but there was no other choice since repairing all that rust will probably cost more than the cars value itself so its not worth it :(

Almost had a Vanilla cake with a cherry topper. Than that Celica was brought in. Even though I loved this video.. my OCD twitched. 🤣
WTF what a waste of money and joy these classic Toyota's our worth a lot more than chrushing them
They're only worth their weight in scrap if no one buys them, which is why they were crushed
Pains me to see a wood grained Century crushed
It's a shame Toyota doesn't make Tercel or Celica anymore
A new Celica would be really awesome, hopefully they'll bring it back
@@pancake_5703 I would also like to see the Tercel return as well

Why are you crushing all these cars ? Somebody would restore them !!!
WHAT! is with all of the gas tanks & other junk around the crusher? Looks unsafe.
Exactly, needs a good cleaning up, put the metal in between the cars
I wonder if they shred on site. Those are some huge bundles.
Five cars seems to be about the standard bundle for any yard.
