I know right? Even though I am younger than most people who got to experience them or even know what they are, I really love them and would love to own one someday.
@@abutts02 the "second" gen was a minor facelift of the first...I think some powertrain options changed as well. The "second" gen was the first to offer AWD
@@reverendtfg6802 Look up the "Radwood" car shows. It's a bunch of dumbass hipsters who think 80s cars are the "new thing". You will find those Caravans there.
Us older folks remember the Caravan/Voyager (and other makes) were kings of the road from the mid-80' into the 90's. Nowadays, minivans are a thing of the past.
It's sad to think these were all brand new cars on the showroom floor at one point someone bought them and loved them and either kept or sold them until they got to this point and it's sad to see them go but it's still satisfying to see them get crushed
I agree with this whole thing. Except the last half of the last sentence. I hate seeing them get crushed. It honestly kind of hurts me to see. Because of everything you said - but also because all of those cars have stories and ENDLESS memories attached to them. Family roadtrips and roadtrips with close friends. These cars probably saw all of it.
I haven’t seen any of these on the roads around here for a good while. When I was a kid, one of my really good friend’s mom had a Caravan for several years, it was an 87’ I think, pail yellow with wood grain. 😀👍
I was surprised to see the Geo Prizm go. Those were good cars that just about lasted forever. It looks as if all of these were badly rusted out and had already been lying around for a long time before going through the crusher.
That roof rack on the 1988 chevy celebrity wagon just didn't want to stay on the pack. Fell off after the crusher lid lifted up. Guess it gets added to another pile of scrap now.
It's essentially just too hydraulic rams and they put more pressure on one side versus the other. I think they can be operated manually or by an optional remote control.
You can tell that the Caravan had the tailgate latch recall, the tailgate didn't bust open when it was crushed 🤣
So sad to see the pontiac 6000 crushed. I remember driving a brand new 1987 silver one. It had the new car smell.
I know right? Even though I am younger than most people who got to experience them or even know what they are, I really love them and would love to own one someday.
Jeez, this is the only place where I see 1st gen Caravans now.
I believe it’s 2nd generation, 1st ran 84-90.

Yeah I find it odd how they are a thing of the past despite them still being the most practical family car there is.
I love how those old caravan windows always tries to pop and fall off the car before breaking lol
Me too. And one of those windows looked like it was plastic. Idk if that was aftermarket or what.
@@waychillbro Probably some cheap window tint
We’re gonna miss these cars 😔
Well, at least no one's saying that soch and such car could have been saved on this one.

Sad to see the wagon and the 6000 crushed. I still see several of those old Caravans and 6000s around town.
Looks like that Pontiac 6000 was an early edition STE
You have my favorite car crush videos. The biggest reason is you dont poke the car 50 times before its crushed.
Like GMAC does 🤣 that crusher is a rockin & a knockin
I kinda like it when they do that, it’s just extra destruction for me
Still so satisfying to see the glass go flying

Wow, by the time 1988 rolled around, like 90% of the Celebrity wagons were Eurosport models. This is the 10% that wasn't 😉

I hated my prizm , couldn't wait to trade it in
Identical to a Toyota Corolla
@@bobmorrison5636 I had two of them and they ran well and never gave me any trouble.
@@brentboswell1294 Exactly.
I hope you can give us a walk around of your place one day.

Worth more after they came out than before they went in.
Where are go these cars after crushing? I love your videos! Congratulations!
Thank you for another great video 📹 😀 👍 😎😎😎
I can only imagine how bad the fuel smells when you have to drain those tanks
That roof rack on the 1988 chevy celebrity wagon just didn't want to stay on the pack. Fell off after the crusher lid lifted up. Guess it gets added to another pile of scrap now.
As soon as it started coming loose it was the only thing i watched for the remaining 3 mins of video lol
Can I ask a question? When you tilt the crusher head, is it automatic or do you have a remote control to adjust the tilt?
Manual operation

The shattering glass is satisfying!
Geez,not a 6000ste,always wanted One, RIP,Ste
EZ Crushers are by far my favorite crushers out of them all
Wow a first gen Camry.
You always have like the oldest cars ever. Are these brought from all over town?
The price of scrap metal must be up
Poor old wagon just done
Long live the roof rack!
After this process how are all the impurities sorted out?
They are sent to shredder that shreds the cars and separates all the steel, aluminum, plastic, and copper
Now it's off to the shredder with them.
I had about 1 of each of those throughout the years
Right now some people are stressing out right now about making their payments on what will day become THIS.
Can not believe the forks on the loader never break.

My question is what do you do with those gas tanks and tires and all that metal left in front of the car Crusher
👌👍😎
why i dont subbed to you before
What state are you in?
Wisconsin.
Can you sell license plates off of the vehicles your about to crush?
@@williamkowalczyksr6419 but that would reduce the scrap value of each vehicle by about 4 cents 🤣
