As far as your bonus tip goes I watched your original video but couldn't replicate the same. Can you please share your control surface setting for the OP-1 in Logic when you connect both the OP-1 and another midi keyboard and the midi keyboard controls your OP-1? Thanks in advance!
Would you still recommend buying a used OP-1 for a new user ? I might actually salvage one for 750€ but I'm on the fence with the new OP-1 that just released. I'm a guitarist that made the shift to DAW music production a year ago.
Many go that route. Be careful tho as replacement parts seem like they can add up quickly, IF you can find them. This was my plan tho, until they announced the Field edition. I do think there will always be a decent resale market for the OP-1, so you can pretty easily resell if you decide it’s not for you or if you want to put that towards the new model.
