    Thanks for making this, so difficult to find technical tutorials for OP-1 and OP-1 Field, please make more if possible!

    Natural sunlight in the intro 😎...different, felt like a commercial (but welcoming)
    Then super dark lighting for the talking head & desk shots....ummm 🤔...my eyes became confused 😟

      Thank you Ase!! Yes, most of my talking portions are shot at night, or whenever my baby is asleep!

    appreciated the second half, thank you. First half didn't make sense to me, tbh. When you are recording midi instruments that we hear in the first half, are these instruments from within your daw? i.e OP1 is a controller? Otherwise how does the DAW use the OP1's synth instruments recording and storing playback as midi data? Will it stop working if the OP1 is unplugged? Would greatly appreciate it if you do reply and can understand/explain what i am misunderstanding. Thank you

    I'm trying to replicate this in Reaper but haven't had any success. Setting up the op-1 to be a midi controller is easy but using the captured midi to play + record from the op-1 that's not working. (I do have the latest firmware)

      Thanks Hussamo! I haven’t used Reaper but I’m curious about its external midi settings- maybe there’s a settings for sending Midi rather than receiving?

    Hey man, I tried following your video exactly with all the settings matching up and I can't get the audio track to react to the MIDI. Did anything change with Logic or is there something in the preferences I need to make sure I have turned on?

    Is the length of the tracks limited though? I’ve read somewhere that tracks imported into the op 1 cannot extend 12 seconds. Is that true?

    This is great! Can the same be done in GarageBand iOS?

    • @ShinesTV
      @ShinesTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Lemon Rain! I think the OP-1 can be a MIDI controller for GarageBand iOS, but as far as I know GarageBand iOS doesn’t support External MIDI.

    But why? Your daw has better sounds and effects; the OP1 isn't really needed.

    So now that Logic Pro is going to be released on the Ipad, I suspect it'll be insanely nice to have an Ipad with Logic pro + the OP1 / Field
