  • After seeing QASD in the early morning hours, our focus then shifted to one of the more interesting trains on the Reading and Northern known as the Goodspring. Recently, the train has started its day in Port Clinton working the West Cressona yard on its way west to Good Spring, Pennsylvania. The power on this particular run was SD38 2003, SD40-2 3064, and Snoot Nose SD40-2 3058. The train usually brings tankers to Keystone Propane which is at the end of the line in Good Spring, and that was the case on this run.

R&N 3064 in shiny Reading inspired paint must've been just released from the paint booth put on this propane unit train thru Tremont to Good Spring run. Love the horns on the lead unit. Glad too see that the R&N still uses these classic locomotives in service.

It seems they only now originate at PN Sundays, normally they are WCGS

    It's Becks, not Berks.
