I enjoy collecting hot wheels. There is no rhyme or reason to my collection, its simply ones I like. I have over 200 now and 80% are muscle cars, 10% trucks and 10% random interesting ones.
It may be a few years old now but this video couldn’t have popped up on my TH-cam suggestions at a better time. I’ve recently started to collect exactly these vehicles, (mostly muscle) although only one of each casting and some I will repaint to a more suitable and less “goofy” colour scheme. I’m mainly targeting 1960’s cars but a few 40’s and 50’s vehicles have made their way into my cabinet. US cars of this era are WAY cooler than those were here in the UK. Thanks again, all the best
I just picked up a large Rubbermaid bin held 500 cars all in cards. All muscle cars and a few other random cars .off of Facebook market place cheap . Just got done putting them all up on the wall. I have like 8,000 from years of collecting . Been collecting cars since I was a kid. Mind you I'm almost 50
Lovely old models, I must agree that there is a real beauty associated with old muscle cars and old hotwheels models in general which sets them apart from the rest, they also make great material for photography. Awesome muscle car collection that you have got there. Maybe most kids of our day and age prefer modern cars but these ones are beautiful.
Wow you liked your chevelles back then. Good collection. I am too but recently more into mopar muscle and ford muscle. Into Chevy Cameron to of course. I love all hot wheels muscle
at the Hot Wheel convention I think that they get over on certain vehicles of Hot Wheels that you're trying to complete your collection with but if you research a bit more meaning if you shop around you'll find what you looking for Walmart Publix they got the best choices in finding redlines real riders and all metal base Hot Wheel cars.
Great cars! I mainly collect American muscle cars too. Those clean 1950's Bel Airs is just great, especially the first blue '55 you showed up! Got some of these cars too. Nice video.
Love cars unboxed, love your collection here. Me and the boys are definitely muscle car knuckle heads. Great channel! We’ll be back for more right after the break!🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
When my close friend had his first son he mentioned to me that he wanted to start a car collection for him. So of course it was right about this time so I was picking up every cool car or truck I could find. I think with the different colors we ended getting him like 200 cars! Boy was that fun!
American muscle, the way to go 70 Road Runner is my favorite and one day I will own one, 440/383/426 no matter. I own a 1968 Pontiac Le Mans, 2dr hardtop, Limelight Green, 400 4 barrel. Pontiac rally II wheels. I'll probably get the BF Goodrich Silvertown Radial redline tires or white letter radial TAs. Mickey Thompson Indy Profile has a redline version and so does Firestone Wide Oval redline which is the most common redline tires. Great video! My next car will either be another Trans Am or C3 Stingray!
It's the ones I collect aswell , though I have about 3 different Aussie Ford Falcon XBs and a couple of Japanese cars but mostly American Muscle cars !
Hi. Great video. Subbed for sure. Are any of those 07/08 series metal body and metal base, metal body plastic base or the dreaded plastic/plastic? Nice looking collection tho!
Love your video. Also soon I'll purchasing some hot wheels from your web sight. Question: Where do you get or buy those individual flip cases for the cars you're freeing on this video? Please let me know, as I open mine up. Thank you.
At the store, Walmart and Fred Meyer, and at collectible stores, antique stores, collectible shows and the National Hot Wheels Conventions. Also www.Craigslist.com and www.thetoypeddler.com. Thanks!
Great hot wheels collection i have 68.dodge dart,69 charger, 70 challenger, 67 mustang and 83 chevy silverado, 66 chevy nova 73 ford falcon great love collecting hot wheels 😎😎😎♥️♥️♥️♥️
Hello, I inherited my cousin’s collection of hundreds of scale 1:64, 1:24, 1:43, and larger die-cast (both loose and in the original packages) Hot Wheels, Motormax American Graffiti Diorama, NASCAR, Elite Transporters, Legends of Racing, Road Champs, ERTL Winner’s Circle, Nylint, Racing Champions, American Muscle, Maitso AllStars Elite transport, Dub City, Limited Edition Matchbox, Johnny Lightning, Muscle Machines, M2, Larry Weeds 35th Anniv., G Machines, and West Coast Choppers (just to name some) which I am now trying to liquidate. What are you still looking for? These are both singles and in sets, vintage series to more modern. Please let me know if you are interested or you know anyone else trying to finish their collection. Thank you!! TR
I'm starting to collect hot wheels but I'm more into muscle cars, exotics, and supercars any tips on an easier way to find them. I'm barely starting out any tips?
I recently found a '70 cuda, in orange with the 5-spokes from 2006.. a trully beautiful car.. sitting on the pegs in the store.. mint in box.. it was in that store for 11 years, when I asked about it, they said that the ''old car'' was found under a storage rack.. they found it while clearing the storage. I am really happy to own that beautiful Cuda, its metallic orange with the ''reverse hockeystick'' 440 decal and the 5 spokes, very realistic!
enjoy your cars! they're toys... maybe keep some of them in package.. or get 2 of them, one loose and one boxed.. but you cant trully appreciate the car when its locked away in its package... yes.. some cars that are worth a lot should be kept in box, but definitely enjoy your cars.. loose :)
I got about 8k hot wheels a few matchbox now I’m older and had a few health issues I’m afraid if I pass my family will sell them for pennies on the dollar or they will not be appreciated.
Focus on your health and being happy, display your favorites and enjoy them. Sell off the rest to a dealer and spend the money on fine whiskey or whatever makes you happy. I too have way too many toys and for the last year or so I have made an effort to sell anything that would become worthless if I was not around to sell it or enjoy it. Unfortunately when you have bulk collections the value is very limited as only a dealer of some kind who has a store or ebay store can deal with them so your looking at 10 to 30 cents on the dollar of current value. I had over 2,000 hot wheels muscle cars that I bought for between $1 and $7 and I sold them all in lots of 24 for $24 a lot. They went fast. There are some toys that very popular and even my wife could get full price for those easily so those are set aside.
OUTDOORS ADDICTION I bought most of these for a dollar and I just want to enjoy them not save them for possible later sale. There are plenty of stashes of dollar cars out there you can buy cheap and resell if a person wants to do that. Once you have more than a few hundred to sell the value drops like a rock. So flea market dealers or anyone who has a collectible store will buy collections of $1 cars for .25 cents each and sell them for a $1
Hey! I have a really important question, I was digging through my old toys and found a Adidas hot wheels car with the code RD05 on and I saw it on eBay a while ago for £600 but now I can’t find it anywhere! Do you know how much it’s worth or if it’s even worth anything?
That black or dark colored oldsmobile 88 that u showed at 7 min 38 seconds in the vidio was sweet as all get out. Then again alot of them were realy nice looking.
I am glad I found your TH-cam channel I love the Hot Wheel muscle cars I was 9 years old when the first Hot Wheel came out and I've been a Hot Wheel fan ever since I love the muscle cars and the unusual but the toilet. Will other Hot Wheels like that I want to thank you very much for your video is very helpful very enjoyable
Nice picks.i mostly. Go FOR Muscle cars and quool cars.not into the unrealistic ones( b Barris type excluded) wut would b quool.would b to reissue some of the original classics .....nice vid man
Very nice part of your collection!!! I have some of these castings, some like in the video or/and in other variations. I got a few back in late 90s/2000, just got some modern cars(for the time), then I would start actually collecting in late 2011, I regret cause I lost the opportunity to get many classic models/castings, real or fantasy, some which had their "Final Run" in early 2000s. Anyway, I loved mostly the Chevy there, this year's line '52 Pickup that I didn't find, the 70s Corvette, that red one that pretend be convertible is awesome, and these 55/57 Bel Air, I have 2 of each color of the Gasser, but these are very pretty. Some sites show that the 2016 line will have some new classic cars in the mainline, others from other series, like happened to Austin Mini Van this year. I hope the far cases keep the same mood.
that's so cool I do have an old collection from the 70z even some funny cars and cars that have a optional jack up rear ends ive had in hot wheels case since probably wont sell cuz there fun to look at unless the price was right but even getting $50 for Don the snake prudomme funny car I might as well keep them.
I collect the Hot Wheels from Fast and the Furious, keeping them in their packages of course. Then I hang them on a clothes hanger in my closet to save space.

It seems that the best of the muscle cars were made before 2012. Afyer that they started getting goofy. Fantasy cars or goofy tampos
that white camaro is the cool camaro 1968 !
I prefer the muscle cars as well. My favorites are the 1970 Superbird and 72' Gran Torino.
+ironchefdempsey Nice choices, the Superbird has been made many times but the Gran Torino I don't think has many variations. How many do you have of each? I have not collected many of the Superbirds since they are hard to store, too long for most carry or storage cases.
ToyCarCollector.com
I've got a blue Superbird that's kind of painted like Richard Petty, but not exactly. And a red Dodge Daytona. I agree, they're hard to store with the spoil. The Gran Torino, one is blue with a white racing stripe, but the one I favor is orange with black graphics. Orange is my favorite color and I don't see it much.
Aside from the muscle cars I also like collecting the exotic or supercars. Lamborghini and Ferrari and the like. But not quite as much.
ToyCarCollector.com I really like the green Gran Torino you showed. That's a good color
My favorite hot wheels i own 1971 challenger rt, 1969 road runner
@@ironchefdempsey I think he was referring to the length, of the car.
I'm waiting for Hot Wheels to make a custom Hudson Hornet
they did
New and really olds ones about 4500 car truck
I love the muscle cars myself my faves are the galaxies and 55 gassers i am hooked
I have three of the gassers. They look so good.
Hope you've found the Shelby Cobra & a few Mustangs (the 1965 2+2 fastback & Shelby GT500 are musts, as is the Mustang Mach 1-the one from Diamonds are Forever). Must confess my MC collection is biased towards Shelbys & Mustangs, but I have quite a few Dodge Chargers, Challengers & the odd Demon. Even a Brazilian Charger lurks in there.
I completely overlooked the Pontiac GTO as well.....
