Yes, it sprays the same as the Bellaria. It's a shame Iwata has withdrawn it from sale, I think it's a political thing as it was selling too cheap and causing problems with sales in countries still getting the W400 Bellaria, cheers mate 👍

Hello Pete.... Excellent review and very helpful video always from your channel friend....I have the kiwami 4.... Superb gun....also the old w400 and lph400....Top guns ... Regards from Greece!
Another great demonstration that helps figuring the best use of each. I have a LPH400 LV4 1.4 and love how it lays medium solids clear, but the wide fan of the Kiwami 1.3 really helps me on getting coverage without mottling with metallic base. I do prefer to turn the pressure on the Kiwami down and account for it on fluid. Great guns. Keep up the good work, Pete!
Thanks, mate 👍, you are certainly right that a taller pattern helps with more complex colours, so there's a place for all of these guns. Hopefully, this helps people decide what's best for them 👍
Excellent video Pete👍I've learned alot from your extensive review/info vids on the various Iwata guns from Japan. All this info basically translates to the locally available LPH/W-400 models in the US so much appreciated. Cheers

@@peteshobbies5383 Would love to see this comparison as well, It would also be great to see the comparison when runnning these low pressure guns at 2bar instead of 1.1, a lot of people report using them at 2 bar in practice

@peteshobbies5383 Awesome, I look forward to it since the 4L is supposed to be its successor. Hopefully, they will come out with some new caps for the wilder 4L
Hi Pete, well that was a very interest comparison👌 it's surprising the difference the tip and cap makes as to how it sprays. The Kiwami4 with the biggest fan was huge, I would say it's mainly the holes in the aircap that effects the size of the fan but even if the holes are the same size it also makes a difference where the holes are placed on the air horns and how far apart they are🤔 Thanks for doing this Pete I've never seen anyone do these comparisons on here before👏🙏👍
Hi John, I don't think you see these comparisons much because people don't have all the guns, they're not all mad like me 🤣, it the sort of thing I find really interesting and so do many other as over the long run they are by far the most popular videos, for me anyway, cheers mate 👍
Yeah I haven't seen anyone else do these comparisons on here so what you do is invaluable for people looking for this kind of info and as you say they are very popular, I found them interesting just for the differences in the fan pattern put out just by changing the holes on the aircap🤓👍

Super like from me pete very well explained for people who are just starting out in the spraying game . Is the WB A better gun than the kiwami 4 .1.3 I seen the WBX 1.4 great for clear coat paint
Hi Andrew, they are all good. The WBX and WB do atomise finer than the normal Kiwami4. The real star here for me is the Wider4L. It's giving a good pattern at 1.1 bar, so it gives low overspray, and of course, you can turn it up if you want to, cheers mate 👍
Hi Mate, If it is clear and direct gloss you want it for, I would go with the WBX in 1.4, only because direct gloss normally needs one up on the tip size, cheers 👍
I find it quite fascinating seeing the difference between them, The Wider4L does well as it's a low-pressure gun, so overspray is low, and results are good 👍
This really got me intrigued. Thank you for taking the time to create videos it’s really appreciated. Do you find with the w400wbx the overspray covers the air cap once you’ve finished? Mine has ever since new regardless of pressure and distance.
Hi Tim, Thank you, I do enjoy making the videos. The WBX produces probably the most overspray of all these, that's partly due to the fact it normally runs at a higher pressure than most of the others and the cap has quite big air holes. It should get less if you lower the pressure, but that will be at the expense of finish . What pressure do you normally run it at?
@TimGriffin-ez9ez I normally use it at 2bar for clear coat around 1.8 bar for basecoat, it is always going to produce much more overspray than the Sri which is quite low compared to most anyway
cheers for the video pete, quick question. i spray alot of waterbased 2k. out of these guns i plan to buy 2 of them, which ones would you say atomize the finest? mainly looking at the WBX or WB2
Hi Mitch, You're welcome, mate. There's no doubt the split tips in the WB & WBX do help with atomisation, but at the expense of speed, the WBX would be a good bet
