Waiting for my A6X to arrive and your video popped off on my feed. Your first point gave me an idea: a way I could think of using layers would be by having notes of something you did some research on and then when you go over them in a meeting or with someone else you could use an extra layer to have any additional annotations, maybe underlines and circling of words. This way you have your original, purely informational layer and the annotated, more highlighted/practical layer. I’m curious also, have you tried reading more PDF or larger documents now that split view has been implemented? Nice series of videos!
@4:15 - You can add annotations in the Kindle app, though not as handwriting over the text, or next to it in the margin. Instead it puts a little marker that you click on to see the note you added, so more like footnotes than direct annotation. To add the annotation press and hold on the text then drag to highlight the text to be annotated. When you lift finger off the screen a context menu appears which allows you to add a note and do some other things.
Layers for note taking. I am just thinking if you use a blank template and draw your own format, you could use layers to keep the structure on one and your notes on another so it easy to copy and just clear the notes. I am still waiting for my super note to arrive.
I like the way you think a Kindle is a book and your device is strictly paper extra features are cool but it's about the singular focus of the device. Poetry
Do you use a Personal Knowledge Manager app for any of your note taking? eg. Obsidian or Logseq? Or are you aware of anyone who does? I'm thinking that this may be an added benefit in some instances.
Thank you for such an informative and helpful video. Question: Is it not good enough for reading? I don't have a kindle, I thought buying it would help me out with 2 things (noting and reading) Comments! Thank you :)

Appreciate your reviews. Waiting for my A5X. I'm a big note taker and have been forever looking for the ultimate 'notebook', fingers crossed.
I heard the wait may take a while. I've enjoyed my Supernote so far. Exactly what I wanted.
@@paperless3739 Yes, COVID is denying me my new toy until May. Hopefully worth the wait. Thanks for the reply.

I am looking at buying the A6x , is there any option of creating folders if you want to create notes for each folder
Great summary, thanks! Can user install apps other than Kindle on Supernote devices?

Thank you :)
Thanks for the question. I've tried reading PDFs on it just so see how it looks. Works fine, but the Kindle is so much better.
@@paperless3739 But there is no ten-inch Kindle. How can Kindle be better for viewing PDFs that are harder to read on a Kindle-sized screen?
