I do a boatload of long-hand writing in a Leuchtturm1917 with an Easyflow 9000 refill. This, for me, is pretty close to that feel. I'm in the camp of loving it. I don't mind the scratchier E-Ink experiences like the Remarkable or even the Kindle Scribe, they're great, but the Supernote feels like home. I knew it was the one from the first word I wrote on it. Haven't cracked open a physical notebook since.
The main improvement in software in my experience is the connection to the cloud and never losing anything. So I would keep the WiFi on and charge more frequently.
I use mine mainly just to keep track of projects at work and what the current status of each project is. Makes me seem like I’m on my game when I can immediately “recall” statuses. Other than that I read epub and PDFs.
@@dewayne4446 I’m happy with it. But I haven’t kept up with all their products. I use a free app called Calibre on PC to convert any format ebook into pdf. And have like a to do list for the day, what I did list for the damn team call the next day, then notes for each project.
I've just got my Supernote nomad A6X2 three weeks go and I really like it. The pressure of HOM2 pen on the Feel Write 2 screen is actually pleasant for me. I don't use the wifi on all the time so I also sync when required.
I got my a6x recently and i love it but sometimes I wish it was bigger. I feel a little cramped when writing at my desk. BUT i like that i can stick it into a bag and go off somewhere. I'm still deciding if i want to exchange it for the a5x. Ideally I would have both... maybe in the future.
I’ve got an A5X and it’s a good size for me. Sometimes however I wish I had both sizes. I do more extensive writing than you do: meeting note taking as well as interview. I never leave the Wifi on, and synchronize once every day or two or three days. Except when I elaborate a template or add a document for Supernote in my Dropbox. I have seen owning it for 3 months now. I never lost a note. The device is reliable. I’d like to try the HOM pen. I have mixed feelings about the screen feel. Sometimes I would prefer a more paper like feel, like with some screen saver I was advised to buy for my Boox Nova Air. But I love everything else of my Supernote.
when i got my a6x in the mail, it was smaller than i was expecting it to be (which is no one’s fault of course). but after using it for a week as a college student, the size doesn’t bother me anymore bc i can still take extensive notes comfortably. plus it has all the features i need, so no reason to complain anymore :D
awesome! i hope it helps you just as much as it helps me :) also, good luck with chemistry! i used to be a biology major until i had an existential crisis hahaha
The smaller model is probably good for people that aren't using the system for strategic tasks, the larger one is more suitable for professors/course instructor or executive or journalist, author, or an executive assistant. If you're someone that just wants an electronic notepad that can do more than a piece of paper - I would suggest the smaller model because you probably won't utilize the features as thoroughly as a strategic user like the careers I mentioned earlier. But that's just my opinion.
@@paud6162 I forgot to mention students - but I would think a student would prefer the larger model for easier use because of its size. The smaller model might be better for people that need a digital notepad to carry in their handbag daily for random note taking, brainstorming. ☺
Thank for your suggestions. I'm still struggling with the size... sometimes I feel the A5X it's a good size, and then nahh it's better the A6X 🤯 1st word problem, I know. 🥴
I have a hack. I do a screen full of notes and then I select all of the text and shrink it down to 1/2 or 1/4 then I can get way more text on one page.
Very inspiring video! Thank you for telling us what you do with it, it makes the whole thing more useful.
This is a great review, not least because he pretty much answered every question I had. Thank you!

I’m a program manager and I was thinking of buying one for the same reason. Are you still happy with it? Or do you think the new A5x2 would be better?

I had the A6x and ended up returning it for the larger A5x. A5x IMO is the perfect size.
Yeah, it can be a bit small in some cases. But I like the portability of the A6 size.
Just got the Heart of Metal pen today. Had the A6x for about 2 weeks. I am gonna lose sleep tonight…

What’s your major, if you don’t mind me asking? I’m a chemistry major and I’m really wondering if the a6 is large enough for me
@@MyHam-os4bq ah… you might wanna consider the bigger one (which i think is like 7 or 8x10? not 100% sure). i’m a business/ film major

Any news on the new A5X 2? Waiting for the larger model.
Thank for your suggestions.

Yeah, I think sometimes it's a bit too small. But when I take it outside, it's perfect. Not too big for one-handed use.
Hallo from Poland I have new A5X and I am thinking about size too. Is it not too big for me 😁 I love writing on Super Note.
Sounds great

How do you do this? Do you use the lasso tool for this?
Everyone wants the size between the A6x & the A5x😂
Behold... a fold version would double the size.
That would be interesting. I heard they're planning an A4 size.
How'd you even get one? They've been on backorder for months.
Yes. Because i think my A5X is too small. I love the device though.
will you even show the tablet or we have to watch your face
He has other videos where he actually just focus on the device.
He gives good face ❤
dude... repeat much. yow... the ramble towards the end was too much!
