Incredible. All details. Inside and out. Fabulous. From the outdoor swing,the outdoor fireplace and all decorum ; plus the construction details.
Very beautiful! I love the bright white everywhere and the use of different trim. I think I’d drink my coffee in the screened porch depending on the season. Even the dining room with those huge windows with beautiful trees to look at would be a great place to sit and relax.

Beautiful! I’m also interested in landscaping. I have a nice house, now I just need to upgrade the builder’s grade landscaping. Boxwoods and hydrangeas are on the top of my list!

The appliances seem too low end.. .. and I think quartzite will go the way of corian counters of the 90s other than that it’s a great house
How tall are the ceilings in the kitchen and dining room? This house has been one of my all time favorites for a long time now! She’s an amazing designer…. Loved the tip on the stoves not having a back to make it look more like one long stove! 😅❤

Is it just the camera work or is there a sag in the middle of the front porch?
There's no sag, probably camera distortion from a wide angle lens.
Where are the livestock? The vegetable garden?
Are you dense? Are you not allowed to live in a colonial style home unless it's historic & in one of the original 13 colonies?
Waaaayyyy too much board and batten
Instantly I do not like the design of having the garage right in front of the house, imposing on the front entrance. A definite no no is the driveway extended right up to the porch. It automatically takes away from the welcoming relaxing appeal of a front porch, and I think it's dangerous. There's no joy in sitting on your porch with a parking area right in front of you, not to mention the fumes of vehicles..... it should have had a nice grassy area with a walkway to the porch, the garage should have been set further back to the side. Other than that the house is beautiful.
The two range idea is great with no backing!
I think it's the opposite, playing basketball, kids with chalk and hopscotch, skating all right there in the wide front is nice vs a long narrow drive elsewhere. The spacing for more grass or landscaping might just not fit on the lot so you have to compromise & if they love the interior layout that's obviously priority to the outside.
Get rid of the music you nearly gave me a blooming heart attack!
It would be nice to see more of the decor instead of showing you talking... Talk while the camera features what you are talking about
It’s beautiful but to white and sterile for me. You need some color.
I prefer a calm palette because like the extremes in design, either really light and airy or very moody so just going basic on the walls let's the furniture & decor swapping fulfill the trend or style vs feeling over or wanting to change paint all the time.
Someone watched too much HGTV and thinks they're living country. No garden soil or farm dirt has or will every hit those floors. That being said, beautiful house.

I have been in a lot of houses on farms and can tell you this does not resemble anything like them. You can see the other houses around this one which would suggest it is not even on a farm.

The operational farmhouse is like the bee, buzzing around and working hard to keep the farm running smoothly. It's all about practicality and function - making sure the animals are fed, the crops are growing, and everything is running like clockwork.
Meanwhile, the farmhouse design style is more like the flower print dress - it's all about the aesthetic! Think cozy, charm with plenty of wood accents, vintage accessories, and warm, inviting colors. Even if you don't live on a farm, you can still bring a little bit of that rural magic into your home with the farmhouse design style.

It's not a literal farmhouse. It's taking the craftsmanship & woodworking style as inspiration. You can't be that dense.
It’s a style. And, there are houses being built and or decorated like this on farms.

Yes, I believe what I said. The interior is not appropriate for the home.
If you've ever been in a functioning farmhouse, it definitely is does not look like this on. Way too much white! Very boring and cold feeling.
It's not though? Because it's INSPIRED by the craftsmanship & woodwork. For much of history the poor on couldn't afford things with dye and pigment much less paint every room a different color. Whitewash was common for a reason.
I live in a traditional white two-story farmhouse with a front porch, folk Victorian style. As I strip paint off woodwork and doors and get a glimpse of what’s been on the walls since it was built in 1897, you see the trends. Off-white, dark green, light green, tan, and two more shades of white/cream. White was the trend when the house in this video was built. Things are beginning to shift toward earth tones. Paint is easy to change with the trends and it really transforms the look of a room and keeps things fresh.
“Farm homes” built like million dollar mansions. Thanks, “Influencers,” for ruining real farm life with overspending and glamour.
How are they "ruining" your farm life? This is their home & they wanted that inspiration in it. That affects you 0%.
