I painted my main floor/kitchen BM Ballet white to match my earthy fixed elements of my Tuscan style kitchen and it was the best decision I’ve made yet. It’s a stunning creamy white with a subtle green undertone and I’m obsessed! It really made my home feel fresher and more modern
I am about to paint my cabinets and love a lot of these but I was thinking of a black honed granite countertop and these examples are all light counters. Do you think these colors don’t work well with black?
I have black and copper granite. Love warm neutrals. Currently have a color called latte. So what new warm neutral do you suggest. Definitely my home is current French Country. Cabinets are medium maple
I'm so happy to find your channel and will definitely be looking into your resources! I love what you brought up about the undertone of other items in your room! Genius. I agree with you about loud and bossy countertops. What do you think of butcher block wooden islands? I don't think they're great with a sink but possibly the type of countertop that has part butcher block and part quartz? I see the wood islands in English kitchens and just love the warmed up cozy look but wonder if it'll hold up or be too high maintenance or too hard to paint around with the warm wood undertones??! Do you have a video about this? THANKS!
All my rooms are painted accessible beige including all the trim and doors. My cabinets are graphite gray., as well as the wood flooring. My granite has all the colors of graphite gray, cream, white and a lighter shade of gray I have all linen upholstery. What color would work best for this combination? My hardware is brushed nickel. Thank you. Been following you for several years.
I would love to know best wall colors if you have honey oak cabinets and floors. Getting quartz countertops white with light grey veining any suggestions?
Look for a neutral that relates to your countertops. . . my colour wheel will help narrow down whether your quartz is taupe, green grey or violet grey for example. It's available on my shop page.
Love your stuff~! I'm a new fan. What is the "pinky beige" you said DID work at 5:55 in the video? I'm struggling with the same problem of orangey countertops.
Hello 👋🏼. I love the color agreeable beige by SW but I prefer Benjamin Moore paints. Could you tell me what BM paint color is most similar to agreeable beige? Thank you!
You can just go to your paint store and tell them the SW color and have them make it in the Benjamin Moore paint. The stores have the codes for most colors.
Question, At 9:52 can I assume the Ceiling is Natural Linen? Guess I am slow to catch on but with shadow and lighting at different times of day, I suppose any item in a photo you show could be the color you reference.
Creat info, thanks. So I Have an OPEN KITCHEN. My sofas in the living room are blue. My kitchen cabinets are white and the island is like slate. I just bought rattan counter chairs and I want to pant my cabinets. What color do you recommend. I prefer warm neutral colors. The dinning table has beige chairs with two green chairs. I really don’t like that slate color island.
I love crisp white I don't like beige can that be ok? If I have crisp white cabinets what color to compliment so it does not have grey, gree, or pink undertone? Please help thank you
When are people going to stop choosing safe beiges in order to get majority approval instead of living with whatever COLOUR that makes them happy to be in that room/house?
I have had colors that I thought I loved then get very tired of it. Red in the kitchens, blue in the basement, blue cabinets, pink in a girls room-beige is way better to just change out the accessories rather than repaint again and again.
I’d suggest it’s not always a good idea to use your “fun” colors in large swaths… especially in a small apartment size kitchen. Use those colors “you love” in your smaller touches. A bowl of green (or red) apples .. a painted cabinet or hutch… etc.
Excellent comment. One’s home is theirs to do whatever they want with it. I’ve always used soft paint colors in my house that some have told me are too soft. So what. They make me happy whenever I look at my walls.
5:25-5:45 you are talking about the wall or cabinet color ways? I watched it several times and could not sort out if you were talking about the wall or cabinet colors (or both) .??
Oooh, I love your beautifully vibrant green draperies.
I’d love to hear more top warm SW colors for kitchen cabinets!
My ebook will give you the equivalent colours to the BM colours I mentioned. You can buy it here: mariakillam.com/products/#killam-colour-system

Fantastic. I had already picked ballet white to go with my white countertops. Painting starts on Monday
I love the warmth in these photos. So inviting.
Love your advise, ideas, etc. glad I found your TH-cam !!!
Best advice on the internet!

As usual, great advice Maria!
Oooh 😯 so glad your channel was suggested!! I’m going to enjoy this binge watch 😊
Oh I love this! I also think your lipstick is gorgeous on you!

Thank you for this wonderful information. Could you sometime share the SW equivalent to these BM colors?

Just found your channel, love your content.. So educational. Thank you!
Great video!
Is there any beige shade that doesn’t have green or pink undertones? Something to go with white cabinets that’s just neutral? 😊
What do you think about Sherwin Williams Steamed Milk?
I really like that BM Tapestry Beige on the kitchen cupboards. Thank you for the post. I've just subscribed to your channel.
Very interesting - can you talk about SW Nacre?
So informative ty

Which color works with brown cabinets and pinkish countertops? Renter so can’t change the colors given. Thanks for your advice.

Look up Clare paints. Cutie is a pink beige. Think lipstick.

I may be missing what brand of paint these are? i really like the Stonehearth, would that be a good livingroom color?

What creamy whites go with blue tones throughout the house
Can you tell me the brand and style of your glasses?
They are chanel but they don't make this style anymore.

9:04- Ballet White reference is for the cabinets or walls? - or both?
Are the trending English country kitchens considered timeless design?
When are people going to stop choosing safe beiges in order to get majority approval instead of living with whatever COLOUR that makes them happy to be in that room/house?
Accessorize, windows... bring in light and color and accessories are easy to update.. I have a Picasso print that gives me joy!

Not seeing the additional countertop video? Can someone help please :)
❤❤❤
I have white countertops with recycled pale blue green glass speckled throughout. The worst decision in the kitchen and now I'm stuck for life...lol
When I imagine this countertop, I love it. White and blue or white and green looks fresh.
Maybe you can tell Go Clean Co before they paint?
I tried but she has a big following. . . she might have missed my note.
@@MariaKillamDesigner that was nice of you.

Same!
It’s so annoying that we see more of the person talking than the actual rooms we need to see!
I'm so confused about those curtains.

All of it is boring. Beige, gray, greige it’s all trendy BORING
