sweet, a Norden in America channel, this is awesome. I'm pretty interested in any Norden content. And I just installed a Zumo XT to a KLR and FJ09. Husqvarna made is super easy.
Wow, I like the way the Norden has the accessory electrical connectors right there as soon as you remove the cover. On the KTM 890 videos I have seen, the ACC2 connector is behind the headlight. Oh well.
Nice video, I just fitted it to my Norden. I also mounted the Touratech locking mount. looks really nice and yes, like you said it is a nice fit, no wobbling. Unfortunatelly I cant try it out since it started snowing again.......
Great content! The only one available now for the Norden. I just got mine and I see it doesn’t have rally mode nor does it have Bluetooth connection to use the Husqvarna app or control the music/calls from screen. I live in mexico so maybe the version is different
Hey, I'm trying to install my Garmin Sumo on my Norden. Exactly like you describe. However, upon removing the GPS placeholder, I did not find the two pre-wired accessory cables. I should have those, correct?
I bought the same mount, but I also have some play once installed...looks like there is a removable base plate which might be different and interchangeable for husky and ktm..when I tighten the screws, the mount can move around... I think screws with larger “shoulders” might fix it...any ideas?
Only Orange appears to be available now. Maybe message the seller to see if they will get anymore. www.amazon.com/NICECNC-Compatible-Adventure-2019-2022-2020-2022/dp/B09C89MCJD
The handlebars can be adjusted and even changed out if needed so I don’t see that as a problem. If you’re tall enough to ride this bike you should be able to reach fine. For me it is very comfortable but I am tall and have a long torso and long arms
That style of GPS mount is one of the best for the 790/890/901, however it's a shame you didn't fit the original American made Vanasche Motorsport GPS mount they have obviously copied, although it's a little more expensive, if these inferior Chinese versions continue, there will be no more small companies doing trick kit for our bikes. I prefer to support companies who develop innovative aftermarket parts and not some company who just copy and mass produce cheaper versions for the eBay/Amazon resellers of this world. Just something to think about.
Unfortunately someone shared a video on Facebook of the Vanasche one not fitting correctly. It was loose. So I decided to give this one a go and it was perfect. Note this bike is not American made and few American made parts are available for it
Great installation video but wrong product. What? You thought you could download new maps for other countries when you travel overseas? No no no - only if Garmin feel like allowing your specific device to change regions. Why waste money on a Garmin when a mobile phone and a naviagtion app. does the same or better.

Great video. I should receive the exact setup in a few days.
I installed this mount today it is awesome thanks for the video!!
Great Video! Thanks for the instructions.
That would be so much nicer if it would sit level with the instrument panel. Thanx for the video!
How awesome is this guy! Seems like the kind of guy I'd love to go ride with! Maybe some day lol
We shall ride ! Adventure in April!! Thanks for watching
Looks like the rally raid setup after the gps mounted
Very informative and simple! Thanks!

its called Explorer mode and yes, they charge extra 195€ in Austria.

Hope you found them. They may have slipped down behind the headlight

Maybe some kind of thin gasket under it? Or push down on it while tightening?
Nice video!
I've searched the internet for that GPS mount with no luck. Maybe was discontinued?

What size spade connector did you use to power your Garmin?
Sorry I don't know the size. I just grabbed two I had in a cabinet and made them work.
Haven’t gotten the screen protector for the display?
No not yet. I would like one for both screens
Can you put in the link for the nicecnc mount to amazon?

thx for this video
How far is the reach from a seated position? Looks too far. I noticed this issue on a T7.

@@nordenamerica Sorry, I mean the reach to the GPS from a seated position.
@@nose2wind872 It seems OK to me. I use it a lot so far for music control and I love it

Clearly a Chinese rip off of a Venasche design.
In fact, it is intellectual theft. Beside that glaring fact, It's junk, ask me how I know...
