I think Dr. Doom is a better villain than Thanos. Dont get me wrong i like the Titan, but his motivation for what he does is so stupid. He was manipulated by Death since his birth and tries to win the love of a concept, the concept of death. Why would death love anyone? It just uses him as a tool to bring more dead people to it's realm. Thanos had a lot of different adventures though and we saw him react differently (or not) to all of them, which makes him look complicated (character building essentially). Most of the time he is a nihilistic villain other times he is an anti-hero. That's not bad. His motivation though is the worst thing of his character, imo. And im so glad they changed it in the MCU.

Take for instance this: there's this compelling idea by electrical engineers that have shared evidence that our understanding of planets, solar system, galaxies and the cosmos itself is totally wrong. Dude I lost it “Black panther showed up and was like we got this and Dr. Doom was like no you don’t” that gave me a good laugh the way Rob explained it 😂.
Hey Rob I'm subbed to your vlog channel and I just wanna say thank you for continuing to upload even after experiencing such hard ship. I really hope it's you who helps usher in the X-Men and Fantastic 4 into the mcu man.
The main issue with showing these types of characters on screen would be trying to portray the speed at which they're fighting. It would take very clever directing, and editing so that any viewer would understand they're battling beyond light speed.
Also the fact that Dr. Doom is already an incredibly powerful sorcerer. How would the MCU be able to portray Dr. Dooms magic after absorbing Dr. Strange?
I actually feel he’s perfect for the MCU. Imagine that the entirety of marvel movies are different parts of a Battleworld reality. Use that to fold in x men and blade etc into the MCU as the excuse to why things are so disjointed
SPOILER: I mean the Marquis of Death was killed by Doom, who was posing as his apprentice. So giving Doom more power would presumably make the fight easier for him to win, considering he won already with less power.

No words, no shock, just "he gone." 😂😂😂 Think that was writer payback for Xavier in AvX.
I always bring up hickman’s run into secret wars when I tell my friends why doom is the most powerful villain in marvel. It’s not even that he got the power of the beyonders and became a god, it’s that he even could do that. He’s like evil Batman. He doesn’t have powers (ok some magic but that’s practically negligible), he just has an unbreakable will and always has a plan, even if that plan is killing gods

I said could be stronger. I don't think he is stronger than toaa but we simply don't know. Or he could even be equal. We simply don't know it yet. Oblivion represents the void outside of the creation. He is literally nothing. Which could render him victorious if not make the fight stalemate.
Oblivion even breaks the fourth wall. Never seen TOAA do that before. Hell there is proofs that TOAA isn't omniscient.(The comic where he was making a deal with Thanos)
I personally think that TOAA is stronger than Oblivion but it seems like that TOAA & Oblivion are just polar opposites. TOAA is he who creates & gives Oblivion a purpose meanwhile Oblivion is just the aspect of nothingness. He is what was around before God/The Big Bang (pending on your personal beliefs) - just nothing. Still toaa seems stronger by definition. He is the literal author right?

But since it's comics, authors will grab any available understanding of science to embellish their story's believability. Take for instance this: there's this compelling idea by electrical engineers that have shared evidence that our understanding of planets, solar system, galaxies and the cosmos itself is totally wrong. If this idea one day gets accepted by mainstream science, comics will then write stories to adapt to this new accepted understanding of science.

What's this compelling idea you speak of? Sure has me compelled
Don't get me wrong, the way you tell and explain stories is amazing. But my favorite part of your videos is when you remember something, or when something hits you and you get so excited.
You'll be taking about something and out of nowhere, something will pop into your head and you get so happy.
You'll be like "So Captain America doesn't have the Super Soldier syrum anymore, then... OH YEAH! this is so freaking cool. So..."
I may have explained what I'm talking about very terribly. But the 3:42 mark of this video is exactly what I'm talking about. Look how something pops into his head and you hear the excitement in his voice. I freaking love your videos man. Please don't even stop...
The Beyonders didn't kill the living Tribunal with 3 beams. That was just a representation of a battle that happened all across the multiverse, but that was not necessarily just that three beams.
Your energy in this video makes it the best one you've ever done.
Dr.Doom is a huge infuential character in marvel universe he always have something to do in every major conflict in comics. Hope the MCU can some day bring him to the big screen.
This is my favorite video thus far. You were going a mile a minute, had me entertained and laughing at the speed. Loved it man.
I love this story. So much great tension when they found out they were destroying actual planets with life
I love the way you explain this, it’s like you’re gushing to a friend, really funny and great recounting
I think we all know why we’re here again.
Yesssss😊
Dude I lost it “Black panther showed up and was like we got this and Dr. Doom was like no you don’t” that gave me a good laugh the way Rob explained it 😂.
You should compare the movie version to the comic book version . These videos remind me of the run down
I LOVE how excited you get through this, just talking about it! And i adore Dr. Doom too.
I love your enthusiasm and how much you love doing this. Keep it up man!
That’s insane I would love to see this story arc in the movies that would be so sick
Hey Rob I'm subbed to your vlog channel and I just wanna say thank you for continuing to upload even after experiencing such hard ship. I really hope it's you who helps usher in the X-Men and Fantastic 4 into the mcu man.
However, to caveat...the Russo’s have mentioned doing a version of secret wars.
Here’s hoping.
Foreshadowing
The main issue with showing these types of characters on screen would be trying to portray the speed at which they're fighting. It would take very clever directing, and editing so that any viewer would understand they're battling beyond light speed.
Also the fact that Dr. Doom is already an incredibly powerful sorcerer. How would the MCU be able to portray Dr. Dooms magic after absorbing Dr. Strange?
Light speed? What?
I actually feel he’s perfect for the MCU. Imagine that the entirety of marvel movies are different parts of a Battleworld reality. Use that to fold in x men and blade etc into the MCU as the excuse to why things are so disjointed
Just subbed just based off this video. Like you seemed so stoked and spoke so fast it was great and didnt miss a beat.
Hey rob love your channel and I love your series omega level and beyond
SPOILER: I mean the Marquis of Death was killed by Doom, who was posing as his apprentice. So giving Doom more power would presumably make the fight easier for him to win, considering he won already with less power.
I love how excited he gets about some of these stories, it reminds me of me some times.
I love it when someone is so excited to tell a story that they keep going "oh oh oh"
A bro your content is so good and getting better and better. And i think your new channel is really great.
They're like ...."Holy Sh!t" the pause everything made my day thank fam
This video was like an excited child describing the story to their father, not complaining
Can we acknowledge how bad ass of a villain name "God King Doom" is 🤯🤯 it almost commands respect by name alone lol
Living Tribunal: What is going on here?
Beyonders: What is going on here is you are dead.
Damn!!!!
Cant wait for Tony aka RDJ to rip Thanos spine. Let him know who really runs the MCU
Great video Rob! I would pay REAL money to see a movie with God-King Doom in it. I love this series. It was one WTF moment after the next. But there was one thing you forgot that I thought was very jacked up. Doom snapping Cyclops Pheonix's neck in one panel and done.
Hey Rob, thank's for another awesome video. I've watched most of what you put out, but have you ever done a vide on the Marvel 2099 universe? I know very little about it but it looks so damn cool.
I think it's God EMPEROR Doom, but otherwise a good video
i was hoping at least one other person would know this lmao.
I was thinking the same
I love your enthusiasm and energy.
Finally been asking for months and months for a DR Doom we need now Doom ☺️😆💪🏽
I love how passionate you are while talking about comics. It's hilarious. I'm the same way! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
God King Doom is the MCUs next 10 year bad guy. The Thanos replacement.
have u watch endgame?
I hope
Dr. Doom is the only competent villain to replace Thanos amongst the masses
@@solitary2 there is also kang, Galactus and annihilus but I think they are single movie villains. Dr doom is the better option for the next big main villain for the MCU. But they could also set up doom as a anti hero.
@@usmanya5110 Well, that's why I said "amongst the masses", the "masses" being those that largely get the comic media intake exclusively from the MCU. People like Annihilus, I dunno, it would take some compromising ground work.
Rob literally just needs to take people from the omega and beyond omega level series he did and make these vids. These are so awesome
I would really love for doom to be the final villain in the MCU
"Whats going on here"
"Whats going on here is your dead"
Thats was fucking hilarious.
The Illuminati just got got after 20 min of screen time in the new Strange movie
didn't this got re upload and btw #notifcationsquad
Rune king Thor
Yup
Idk how your other vids are but if they are like this I’m subscribing
Too Powerful for Marvel Movies
Too Powerful for Any Movies..
Rob!!!!
But it’d be dope to see a Rob Cameo!
Watched like 5 videos, should've done it before, but now im subscribed, i like your voice and enthusiasm on the vids;
Wish you'd make a video on Blackheart, just any kind of video, about powers, backstory, how strong, etc.
I disagree. God King Doom should be the FIRST introduction to Doctor Doom to the MCU. It would be awesome.
That sounds awful, and really stupid to not build him up to be the final villian of the mcu
Dumb statement
This is by far the GREATEST STORY on here!!!! Doom is too OP!!🗣🗣🗣The captain America part had me weeeaak lmfaoooooo
Imagine Pre-Retcon Beyonder against Doom with this power. I'd say Doom loses by a very damn long fight.
He’s beaten beyonder twice even pre retcon
@@coltkillergaming5685 Doom did not defeat pre-retcon Beyonder. The Beyonder let Doom steal a portion of his power out of curiosity. Pre-retcon character was the most powerful character in Marvel. It wasn't until later that they created TOAA to mimic Beyonder power level and the retcon Beyonder to be much weaker.
@@trevnguyen7601 doom also beat him
"...and they're like what is going on here?!..you're dead" lmap
This is from 5 years ago then ⚡️ it's gonna happen!😁
YOu genuinely sound excited to bring this information to us, thank you!
Rob, you should do a series called "Too weird for the MCU" explaining things like M.O.D.O.K that would never make it into a film.
It's funny seing this after Avengers: Secret Wars got announced, because that means they're gonna do the 2013 run, which includes God King Doom.
do a video on the beyonders please
He did
Do you know where Rob might be for an autograph?
LT: WHATS GOING ON HERE!?
Beyonders: WHATS going on here is that you’re dead.
One has gotta Be dr.strange at full power, as he can cause big bangs as his attack, next is heart of the monster hulk. You know why
this channel is so awesome keep it up man.
god king doom vs marquis of death so the battle comes full circle to where they are at there most powerful
GF2003 I feel like God King Doom would rekt him
Tsukiyoteratsu Kona true
Tsukiyoteratsu Kona he would squash Marquis
Marquis of Death probably wins.
Marquis would get wrecked
I remember you being a comic book enthusiast slowly and articulately explaining comics.
nowitsafastpacedfloodofcomiclorethatwillmeltyourbrainforeverbutwaittheresmoredude
Can someone help me out? I'm trying to read the story line of emperor doom but cant find the comic order any where online can someone make a list of the timeline behind this character please
"whats going on hear is your dead" lmao Quote of The Year
Summer Brooke Ballers “here”
Doom is my fav marvel character
Great videos. Excellent verbal presentation. No or not many to notice intermittent "Uh"s. "You know?"s. "I ain't gonna lie"s. Going off on tangents. But, my only suggestion would be to slow down. Just a bit. I had to replay the last quarter about 3x o make sure I got it all.
You gotta do the True Oblivion. Easily the 2nd strongest marvel character right behind TOAA
Oblivion could be stronger than the toaa. We don't know
@@DarkreflexGamingTR Sorry but if TOAA is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent then no one can be stronger than him.
He left him a "spiritual voicemail" hahahaha
Video idea "Too powerful for Marvel movies: The Rob Corps!
Oh how ive been waiting for this moment
Wouldn't magneto be to powerful for the mcu, you know because everyone either is using metal or is made of metal
Ninjamonkeybos ._. Easily killed though. And there are probably limits to his power.
He is an Omega-Level mutant so pretty much unless you catch him off guard or use a wooden gun-
@@overlordvelvet7301 We...we don't speak of the wooden gun incident.
Dude you do great videos and are upbeat .. thanks
