    Excellent lens choice

Yeah, such a convenient range for crop sensors, and the optics are clean and modern but not too clinical.

    cool, great test!
I also have a f35 and ody7Q, but I still can't understand how to set 50p to record, at 444 3G 30P, it is perfect. But when recording 50p, there will always be lines. Can you teach me? help~

Are you using the SDI outs from the camera or from an IF Box that attaches to the rear of the camera? Are you using 2 SDI cables?

@@seoitin169 We had to roll back our firmware on the Odyssey to get it to record 50p. And it has to be a somewhat specific version (2016.01.1336). Are you using a new firmware version?

@@VidAtlantic I did not notice the firmware, thanks for helping me, I'll go check it out now ;)

@@seoitin169 that was the problem for us. We couldn't get 50p until we rolled it back. They (Convergent Design/CD) had to sacrifice that 50p option in exchange for other features for specific cameras on later firmware versions. Any upgrades like raw recording or whatnot will be gone, but I was told via email by CD that those upgrades are stored on a separate disk in the unit so if you re-update the FW then those raw upgrades will come back.
