I think the reason why you still have the mask while getting crushed is that
Its not a power up.
Its a mask.
But it still unexplain why it worn off when getting hit by enemy but getting crushed didn't.

We can see here that Mario is pushed a little back by the noteblock
So I think in the last area, the noteblock pushed Mario a pixel too far and crushed him against the blocks

@@markwatson8642 I think when Mario is pushed by the noteblock, he's pushed to the top and to the right. In the first area there isn't a block on Mario and in the second there isn't a block at his right.
But in the last area the top and the right are blocked, so that must be why he's crushed here.

Getting stuck in walls! Precise Fireballs, Riding dead mole bodies,Getting crushed by wierd mechanics,And getting forced through being pushed through bouncers!
Can't wait to get the world record on that last level... I like all the mechanics shown, though! I might as well share a trick with the Bullet Bill mask; Wall jump off a wall, and hold the jump button and towards the wall to fly to the wall. Release jump before you hit it, repeat wall jumping and flying, and you can scale walls as long as you have fuel (recovered by landing). Unsure how many levels can have this, but it's a good new cheese strategy.
when you kill bowser in a clear condition, entered a door that leads to the screen next to the screen where you killed bowser the flames appear but there is no bowser

You can also add this: if you crouch/move to a off trampoline to a slope in 3dWorld, you will continusly change from sliding to walking

Myth: The max hits mario can take before dying is 4 (on 5th he dies)
(Try theese combos: red yoshi mario red mushroom cannon/propeller/bullet mask; Regular yoshi luigi, same 3 masks, clown car mario same masks,, dry bones shell toad + same masks + goomba, goomba shoe luigi + all masks (including goomba)

SMB1/SMB2/SMW/NSMBU: fire flower, shellmet, dry bones shell (4 hits)
SM3DW: fire flower, mask (3 hits)

The reason for death at 6:25 is because the note block just barely goes onto that tile, barely squishing you
If you lose the SMB2 power up while its final boss music is playing, the SMB2 music keeps playing.

spring jank isn’t jank, the spring is slightly raised bu the blasters, and the rest of them, especially the claw, aren’t filling exactly one tile.
You can clip through solid mushroom trampolines with the help from thwomps. Here's a level for you: PN5-FX3-8VG.
So basically this series is just more ideas for troll levels
