@@bluemulletknex I noticed that most semi auto knex guns are on the weaker side unless it’s that RBG mechanism which has a long loading time. Theres always going to be trade offs I guess. So far I’d say the m14 and the hk are your best builds. And the tar-21 is simply sexy af. Works slowing down so I might buy some pieces and build one.
@@Tinman710 I agree with you. Semi auto guns are awesome however I get the most enjoyment out of shooting a pin gun or that repeating slingshot mechanism. I agree. I’d go for the HK417 or the EBR. The EBR is the best pin gun I’ve ever made while the HK is the first of its kind as a repeating slingshot. While TAR is my best looker for sure, it is weaker in power which puts it behind. Just need some time to mod it so it shoots harder is all. On a side note all three work perfectly so you can’t go wrong with any.
There sure is! I make tutorials for every gun that I make. K'NEX Sten MKII | semi auto SMG | gun instructions th-cam.com/video/DkFA0CLunvI/w-d-xo.html You can check the videos description for a parts list as well.
@@SestemTheKnexer That’s a legendary piece! Although I haven’t built one myself I have made similar large cannons. I believe my best one shot ball machine balls.
@bluemulletknex looks awesome. Some builds like this take people weeks or months to do. 3 days for something this good-looking is impressive. Can't wait to see a new or improved build
That makes sense. Off the top of my head I know that Sten’s were cheap to produce and that the first generation was a disaster known to consistently jam. Sten’s could only fire in full auto and came without a safety. On a side note the horizontal magazines were the reason why I wanted to build this gun- to bring back my semi auto pistol’s firing mechanism on a replica.
@@bluemulletknexThe internals were essentially copied from the German MP18. It’s about as basic as they come, just a tube with a block that stabs primers. Also is this shooting or “ejecting” the trajectory looks all sorts of weird
@@greenman717 The Sten is such an awesome piece in my opinion. It definitely looks weird while it’s being operated. I think it would look nicer if the bullets went straight rather than arching up into the air. Just load up a whole long black rod of gray connectors and stick it into the side of the gun. The trigger just rotates into the back of one gray connector at an angle forcing it to snap off the black rod. Power is very low however it is very fun to shoot 27 rounds of semi auto.
You got the shape and size of the gun right, I’m impressed.
Thanks. Im satisfied with how this one turned out.
Frickin crazy dude
It’s pretty fun to mess with. I just wish it could shoot harder.

@@bluemulletknex Will you make the instructions on instructables?
@@bionic_master I will make the instructions in a full YT video, which I’ll put on instructables.
Is there a full tutorial on how to make it ?

How does the mag move when its being shot?
There is a small rubber band pulling it. Wish it was mechanical but for now a rubber band will work
Can u show the internals
I’ll see what I can do! I will be posting full instructions for this gun in an upcoming video. Should only be a few days before I complete it.
Hey quick question what editing software do you use to edit your video?
Cool
Thanks man! Are you working on anything at the moment?
No, i built Iac's heavy crossbow and I am too lazy to take it apart because it has like 2500 pieces.

Looks like an angled forgrip for the hand grip🤣
It sure does. The Sten gun is super strange looking but I love it!
@@bluemulletknex how long did it take to make?
@@coltonwells6189 Maybe around 3 days of building. I haven’t had as much free time as of late.

Fun fact the magazine was put on the side so soldiers could lie flat on the ground.
