how do you make youre insructions without take apart
I first finish a build using standard colored pieces. I’ll then build an identical twin but with black metallic pieces. Afterwards I’ll take apart the original gun to take pictures for my step by step instructions, using the black gun as a reference whenever need be.
lol
man i remember you years ago! i remember when i built my first knex weapon with a magazine. it is now just so nostalgic seeing you back again
No way man! I to remember my first K’Nex gun that I posted on Instructables. This was before I changed my username to BM. I’m happy to be back and thankful that you found my new channel.
Could you try and use yellow rods instead of those dark grey rods because I made a mistake and got one of them mixed up with a blue rod and I had to modify it at the end to have no selector switch
Dang man I’m sorry you ran into an issue with one of my tutorials. Yes I can totally swap out metallic rods out with standard yellows from here on out. Thanks for the suggestion if you encounter any more issues just let me know!
What should i do if i dont have the tires?
You’ll have to try and build a whole new barrel for it or purchase some tires off eBay. I’m sure if you put your mind to it that you could design something really cool!
@bluemulletknex yeah i just kinda remodeled the barrel it doesn't look as good but it still gets the job done
can ya make a gun that requires no endless rods.
I can try to get this done but just know that the endless x rods can be replaced by a yellow rod. The little end pegs can be left off this build.
That semi auto mech is amazing
I appreciate it! I’m hoping to have instructions out within a few weeks however you know how this typically goes haha.
The best gun yet! It's a semi auto shooter and looks beast! Semi auto guns never really look the best but this is easily taking the title for the best looking semi auto gun. I am so curious to know how that mech works and the day the tutorial releases I will build it. Also is the mag removable? If it is that would be so cool. If it's not it's okay. Also final question lol, where are the rubber bands loaded? I don't see any place where they can be placed.
Dude I can’t wait for you to build it so I can get more of your thoughts! Yes the magazines are removable and will hold 8 rounds each. I’m still experimenting towards finding a good rubber band layout for the pusher. Rubber bands are hidden under the top rail system, which slides off after pulling 3 pins out. This allows for quick and easy loading.
Its GABE! built this, sweet gun! nothing bad with it, VERY hard to build, but still sick
Awesome! I’m happy that you like it!
@@bluemulletknex actually, problem came up. for some reason, it just doesn't look complete. dono, maybe just me
@ Yeah I’d imagine that it must be the way I designed the gun that you don’t like. You should just totally redesign it to your liking!
@@bluemulletknex haha, i think that would be cool! going to try your RSP-5 next!
I had a lot of fun with this slingshot back in the day, surprisingly good range and power with finammo. Nail gun blanks taped to the end of the rod would be a blast with this!
I do remember seeing it on a video of yours. This rebuild has definitely reminded me of how powerful it is haha. You never fail to surprise me with the different ammo ideas you have haha
YOU MADE ANOTHER ONE!!! W!!!!
Yessir! I’m hopeful for many more to come.
@bluemulletknex yes!! feeling like this was the best so far. Good job man
@@bluemulletknex when do u think the tutorial will be up?
@OmPatel-e4j I was pulling for this weekend however I’m of course behind schedule. Someday next week for sure.
Look forward to seeing how you worked the 8 shot mechacism in this one. Is it a compact design, the release mech on it's own?
I thought of you a few times while building this gun. Was totally curious what your thoughts would be. It does have an 8 cog as opposed to the more common 4 cog. That cog being a white connector filled up with green rods of course. This is to allow me to load more rubber bands per full rotation. The trigger is the highlight of this build. It allows for both an easy shooting pull and a smooth reload transition (when rotating backwards). The trigger is positioned so that the cog never skips rounds, even when under high pressure bands. It resets effortlessly after every shot, including the last one. Trigger itself is two pieces so that it feels better to fire. The mech fits in the stock along with the magazine release button so I’m thinking it’s as compact as I can go. Probably would be too big for an AK-47 though.
@@bluemulletknex I like it a lot. I think I said before on another one of your videos that I thought a hybrid system with bands and rods would be superior and it looks like this is it. The new meta. I could just see the white connector placement at the back when you held it up vertically. That can fit into an AK receiver it's just the mechanism around it that I was asking about, is that big, the part that ratchets the white cog I mean. If that mechanism can be compact as possible it opens up a heap of possibilities. I managed to make a 4 shot release mechanism which could be fit onto either side of a 8 way connector, had a tiny footprint and was smooth like this but 4 shots isn't enough and it struggled under high tension. This is your best build to date by the way.
Best one yet probably
Love to hear it! What about it do you like?
@@bluemulletknex multiple shots for sure
That’s so fire
Glad you like it man.
great work, as usual lol. would love to see a tutorial for the semi auto mech
I appreciate it man. I’m looking to have instructions out in a few weeks- I hope haha. The gun uses an 8 wheel RB cog, which is super nice compared to the common 4 cog. It’s paired to a rock solid trigger box, which I’d say is the highlight of this build. It provides an easy pull and is smooth on the cog when rotating in reverse (to load). It prevents cog bursting all your bands with its positioning.
@@bluemulletknex Ohhhh
Yooo bm my guy I love knex but I don't have the parts for ur build pls can u make a easy and good shotgun like the one by the Creator knex youtuber thx alot for ur builds
I’ve been trying to get a small pump shotgun built however I have yet to make one that I’m happy with. Just note that I hear you and am trying to get one made up! Thanks for your comment brother!
Thx alot bro love ur builds I have been trying to design one for like 8 months now lo l
Btw I'm not trying to be annoying
@WilliamTyler-p3p It is very difficult to make a good pump action in a classic shotgun style. And you aren’t annoying at all man, I always enjoy chatting with others.
Thx
Tutorial?
Yessir! I’m looking to have it done in a few weeks time. However I did pick up yet another virus which has been draining all my energy. Tired of being sick all the time.
@bluemulletknex I hope you'll feel better man
@@its_ben6009 Appreciate it. On some meds so I’m hopeful this won’t go past a few a more days.
IM BACK 1ST AGAIN SO COOL BM
Reclaimed your spot I see! I’m glad you like it man.
@@bluemulletknex Luck, bro this thing is fire
Still remember when this appeared when I was just scrolling through shorts. Simply could not believe it when I saw who made this. Legendary comeback.
I’m just stoked that you even remembered me and are now sticking around! I always enjoy our convos.
Wait i didnt see this before
Wow always new mechs thats insane
I cannot remember anyone creating this shooting idea. It could be because they knew it wouldn’t provide big power. I’m still pleased with it and would love to see it on other replicas.
@bluemulletknex it doesnt matter about power anymore its the innovation
A new gun nice
Cool slingshot dude
Thank you.
Yooo I remember the old slingshot!!
Haha I’m glad it jogged your memory back a ways.
Can u pls make a pump action shotgun without female and male pieces cause i cant find where too buy them❤❤❤
I do have a pump shotgun on the list to build. I’ve attempted one several times however none have turned out well. Someday I’ll have one made up!
@ ok thank you
Make an ak47 but make it with "normal" pieces and don't use ball and socket joints, and use a few y connectors please.❤❤
Honestly if I were to build an AK-47 it would use the firing mech off my 74U, so it would use ball sockets. I could try to modify it to not use any but this isn’t a guarantee.
Can you make a gun that is as big as your mp5 without those pieces? @bluemulletknex
@ I sure can try!
@@bluemulletknex thanks!
I did this with 42143
Cool! I’m guessing yours provided great power as well? I made this slingshot somewhere in 2015-2016 on that old channel of mine.
Blue mullet?? omg I haven't heard from you in years, genuinely giving me nostalgia seeing you back!
Hey man it’s good to see you again! I really do appreciate you for swinging by and writing a comment for me. On a side note is there any particular gun that you’d like to see built?
good!
Haha it’s not to shabby.
Well wasn’t expecting this but anyway this thing is awesome and I’ll probably build it today
Yeah you know it’s not a crazy build but it is fun to use. I hope you’ll enjoy it man.
Just built it, shot it a few times, now my wall has a huge dent, was worth building it
@AyaanHafeez-q4z Going to have to take this one outside to prevent more wall dents haha. Thanks for giving it a chance man!
Bart Simpson up in this bitch!
Slingshot is back 😃👍🏻
You bet!
Merry Christmas my friend! Awesome weapon. simple, compact, powerful and nice
Thanks and a very Merry Christmas to you as well man! I was pleasantly surprised when I got reminded just how good this little slingshot was.
Omg I loved this but never built it because I didn't have enough pieces. Still would love to see the bow you made
I hope you have enough parts now! And if you don’t I hope you’ll get more soon. I have a really neat magazine idea for a bow that I’d like to do someday. Maybe sometime I’ll make it happen.
lets goooo i was waiting for this
I was thinking of you when I decided to rebuild this. Hope you do end up making / enjoying this one man!
Merry Christmas everyone! I know this little slingshot isn’t anything impressive but I do hope some of you give it a chance. It may shock you with how hard it hits! Some of you guys are enjoying these small projects so I’ve decided to whip up another batch. I plan to have them out after I release some medium to large scale replicas.
Merry Christmas homie, another great build as usual.
@ Hey thanks brother! It really isn’t anything too exciting but I’m glad you like it. How was peak this year? I hope you made lots of extra cash!
@@bluemulletknex tough season for sure but I got through it with a lot to show for it lol trying to get another job as a building inspector so I can challenge myself more and have better work/life balance. Hope it works out and hope you’re enjoying your new career path. Might try to start making more biking videos too.
Sounds like 2024 was a rather harsh year for us both. I ended up getting laid off from the place I was going to have a career with. Not going to lie its taking a toll to my mental state haha. Needless to say I’m hoping for better things in 2025 for the two of us. Best of luck with getting yourself into a new career path. And I’d check out some more of your cycling videos!
@@bluemulletknex 2025 will be our year homie.
Yooooooooooooooooooooooo
if you teach us how to make a easy pistol i will subscribe you
I intend to build medium to large scale replica guns which will more than likely make for difficult builds. I will continue to upload small projects just less often.
can you make it automatic?
Yes it’s totally possible to do a semi-auto mechanism for this gun however it will require lots of modifications. I have a feeling you’ll like what I have in store for future builds.
@@bluemulletknex bet lol
I have built this gun six times, and I love it! shoots far, and made it shoot 43 feet before the bullet hit the ground. make shore that you have all the pieces before you start to build!
Thanks a bunch for the feedback man! Geez six times building this gun is a lot! I bet you know your way around it haha. I get similar ranges with my EBR as well.
@@bluemulletknex nice! could you post a new video on how to make an adjustable stock for it? I am 12 and my brother is 8, so it could be nice if i could change the size. one more thing: with your permission, can i take your gun ideas and sort of change then, and post them on TH-cam?
@ An adjustable stock would be really cool and sounds like it would be useful for the two of you. I’ll see what I can do just don’t get your hopes up as the pin guide may prove to be detrimental to the build. Absolutely you can use any of my ideas for your own projects and videos. There is no need to shout me out either.
@@bluemulletknex thanks!!!!!😁 i am building up on pieces, and got female and male cons for Christmas, and i am going to build your AKS 74 gun! any suggestions and warnings on what this gun may surprise me with? My name is gabe, and if i comment you sometime on, you will know who it is! _your biggest fan, Gabe
Bro cant wait for your Next build
I have another smaller gun which’ll be uploaded next. Then, it’s back to replicas! There are some neat projects I have that will hopefully work out. Both of these are a long ways out.
Where is the next gun you were talking about
Sorry about that. Life threw me some curve balls that I’m working through. I’ll try to have it filmed and edited sometime this upcoming week.
@ It’s fine. your probably the best knee TH-camr of all time, you deserve rest (:
Knex, not knee
@ You’re too kind man. I think resting is super important and I’ve not had too much of it as of late. I’ll try to get my builds wrapped up and uploaded asap! Two of my next replicas will be jaw dropping if I can get em working above par!
Could I ask you what your next 2 replicas are?
Im cooked i have no micros
If you end up wanting to buy some check out eBay. Sellers will probably have what you need.
Buying the motherload of black knex
They make these guns look so good so if you have the extra cash then I’d say go for it!
@@bluemulletknex how much do you think? In dollars, $70?. I have already black 5 ways, like 100 - 150 and loads of coloured knex. I was able to secure 100 black 8 ways for like $30. How much do you think it may cost to build one of your guns as you have no piece count?
@ It’s entirely up to you man! I provide parts lists in the video description box for each and every one of my guns. Also, none of my builds use broken/modded pieces so there aren’t any worries having to cut up those rare black parts.
@@bluemulletknex ahh didn't see the piece count thanks. I have tonnes of broken parts and use them all the time. That is not a problem at all
@@bluemulletknex also do you have a gun without micro knex? I sold mine a few years ago since i thought knex guns would never need them. Whoops
That is INSANE the idea with the tires on the front.
I’d say it worked out nicely!
Idk how he makes such high detail
What’re you talking about man?! You’ve made some nice looking guns too!
Thanks but im having trouble with my scar right now lol
@ Scar’s are tricky as there isn’t a good spot to put the pin. The problem is that it won’t reach the bullet. That is of course unless you put it in the cheek rest; butchering the looks of the gun. Best of luck with it! Would love to see it if you finish it up.
Is it possible to make this without the special or micro pieces?
It could be done however this gun is extremely picky. The pieces needed are necessary for this build.
Hey nice guns. I want to request you to make a super 90. That would be amaazing
Hey thanks man. I’ll add a super 90 to the ever growing list of stuff to build. Anything you’re working on?
Its the most realistic awm on instructables. You should put super 90 as your most important project. I think many people will want one
you should make a revolver
Someday I’ll get one built. I’m hopeful to get modest power out of it which is my delay.
Hey man I love your videos but is it possible for you to make a simple gun no shooting and 3 layers I’m not that talented
Hey man, I don’t build models so I’d pass on this. You could always attempt to replicate my guns into 3 layers though. I’d totally check them out if you were to complete one.
