Great video Steve! We really like how you show the different benefits of our QLS system. You even go beyond that by showing your own creativity by mounting it to your car under the steering wheel area. 👍👏
Nice video. I just started using GLS holster. Trying to understand how I can use it with other mounts. This is helpful. But I still need to do more homework. Thanks!
Thank you for making this video. Mounting in a vehicle is one of the benefits of the QLS system, other locations only limited by your imagination. The Safariland holster I chose/purchased came with a belt loop mounting option and a paddle mounting option. I also purchased a mid-ride belt loop adapter at the same time to give myself all the options available to see what I like best. For shooting at the range I like the mid-ride but every day carry I would go with the paddle option (if I ever open carry again). Now I'm looking at purchasing the QLS system because changing mounting solutions (mid-ride to paddle) is more of a pain than I realized screwing and un-screwing each option.
I'm not sure I will be mounting a sidearm in my current vehicle, but I certainly will be in the next one I purchase. I love how versatile the QLS system is, including the fact that there is at least one Molle mount option for it as well, since the body armor I'm planning on getting has that. I've also planned on buying a few other things to complement my growing number of holsters both for work and personal use.
I’d like to know the Safariland model numbers for all of these items. I have a Glock 19x with the 7378 7Ts ALS holster and I want to mount it to a molle thigh holster rig.
Hi bud, good video I appreciate the share but I wanted to see how it unclips :o I didn't notice in this video. May I ask what necessitated a gun under the cars console? I hope noone tried hyjacking or anything
Nice video. Just wondering if you need any of the quick attachments or are you able to mount the holster directly to the drop leg platform. thanks much
What about running a mid ride adapter with the war belt? I don't like drop leg, too low. But I do need a little bit of a drop to clear my armor armor. I can't seem to find anything to help me out but I can't be there only person in the world who has this issue
J-maddog just took off the rear hardware (couple of screws) then bought some strong circular magnets with a hole in the middle from the hardware store and used the same holster screws to attach the magnets. Done.
Are those XO BIG DOT Suppressor sights? so they fit with that holster? Did you have to MOD your holster? I thought the holster was made for the rear sights to be in front of the optic...
jesus christ i have been looking all over the web for how the fuck to mount my holster to my new Crye Low pro blast belt since the opening for the belt loop is really small and after watching this finally figured out they have dam molle attachments for holsters.
Hey Simply Guns! I’m trying to mount my safari land to my battle belt. It has the same type of webbing but idk what type of attachments I need to buy? Thank you
What is the model of the ALS holster? The one I have has the three mounting screws in the mid to lower half of the holster. Yours looks like the mounting screws are at the top to middle. Safariland says they have not changed the mounting position on there holsters. Thanks.
Did you find any problem receiving the proper screws and nuts to attach the fork to your holster? EDIT...i'm concerned about attaching to a TREX Ragnarok. Thanks.
Depends upon your state. They may not allow this carry option in your vehicle like that. Not to mention how cops will react to seeing a firearm right under the steering column console area during a traffic stop.

TKS for the overview, thumbs up. Good info about mounting to variety of surface platforms.
Nice! I've had him stipple 5 or 6 of my guns. He does excellent work. Nice vid btw.

What kind of stipling did you do on your pistol? The looks very good!
Nice video. Just wondering if you need any of the quick attachments or are you able to mount the holster directly to the drop leg platform. thanks much

If I have a holster that has RTI screw platform, can I still use QLS system? I've noticed pattern is different and have been browsing for adapters
Have you found anything?
Can you show us how you did the magnet holster? Please.. will be great to see that combination.
J-maddog just took off the rear hardware (couple of screws) then bought some strong circular magnets with a hole in the middle from the hardware store and used the same holster screws to attach the magnets. Done.
Steve Coulston thank you for the prompt reply. Great video, and information. Truly appreciate everything.
I see they have a QLS Kit 2, 3, and 4 but I can't quite see what the difference is on their website. Any insight?
Never mind! I think they just come with 2, 3, or 4 pieces... Duh!
mpnolan haha we’ve all had those moments lol
Are those XO BIG DOT Suppressor sights? so they fit with that holster? Did you have to MOD your holster? I thought the holster was made for the rear sights to be in front of the optic...
Have you ever tried the adapters that allows you to mount the molle belt setup lower?
I have not but I should.

They have holsters that ride lower, that is probably the one he has.
Great! But show how it is mounted to the battle belt.
Via the Safariland QLS
Can you adjust the angle for the molle attachment?
no but you can adjust the angle on the holster itself
Did you find any problem receiving the proper screws and nuts to attach the fork to your holster? EDIT...i'm concerned about attaching to a TREX Ragnarok. Thanks.
Cole fyre no but I mounted to a safariland about was easy.

Hello, do you know if any model of Safariland on level 3 of retention works on a Bersa Thunder Pro 9mm? Thanks.

Bryan Smith It's by Falkor
can the holsters be mounted to the drop leg holster with out the qls or must you have a qls to be able to mount them?
Yes, they can be. The same three holes which you use to mount the QLS system are used to mount the holster directly to the drop leg platform.
Idk I kinda like GCode's rti system for some reason
How you like your 3rd Gen Toyota? Love mine! :)
Depends upon your state. They may not allow this carry option in your vehicle like that. Not to mention how cops will react to seeing a firearm right under the steering column console area during a traffic stop.
…(。-`ω-)車内だったのか……どんだけ治安悪いの(笑)
Do that crap in my State and city and I'll toss your but in my jail. CCW is for closed carry only.
