Your channel came across my feed after I started racing ACC a lot more looking for tips... this has shown me there is a lot more fun to be had than what I knew could be had. Love it!
first person view is so narrow in sims, even with multiple screens you just dont get the same versatility as you would in real life. you should absolutely take a look into TrackIR head tracking for Sim racing. wherever you turn your head irl, your head moves in game. up, down, forward, backward, side to side, tilt and roll. 1:1 or whatever sensitivity you want for any individual axis. and can set how big of a center deadzone you want, if any at all. really helps when leading turns or checking your sides when cutting into turns. and vastly expands your awareness, even if you already have a UW or triple monitor setup. TrackIR is worth every damn penny, itll feel a little wierd at first since its like vr without the goggles. but itll become as natural as real life in just an hour or less. additionally: for funsies, attach the ir reflector to a race helmet for the full experience. wouldnt reccoment for competitive games, but if you just wanna goof around and be immersed, give it a go with a helmet on.
funny how i joined like 15mins late (hence i was down 10 laps at the end), but still was either involved or at least near almost all of your crashes. dunno if thats a good sign or not xD
yeah anyone can join if you've got ACC and playing on PC, as they're usually hosted by Pitskill. I advertised it here on YT, in the Pitskill discord, in my own discord, etc, so that's how people find out about them. We're doing another one this Sunday but that one is a bit more serious so does require you to have done a few races on Pitskill to prove you're a safe driver and go from Rookie to C Class: pitskill.io/series/monthly-big-grid?ref=131
well this was just a one off 8k subs event so there aren't any more events exactly like this atm, but you can join the daily and weekly races on Pitskill. You have to be on PC, not console, but yeah just sign up on the pitskill website and then about 5 mins before the race starts you'll see the server name and password on the event page. Search for that in the ACC multiplayer browser, use the password, done

it varies per track, but the max is suzuka with 105 people, next is Spa with 82 people, then Paul Ricard with 80
