Get some track tuition dude, it's like £25 for a short tuition session in your car at Brands Hatch. Your tutor should help you with your positioning on track and your gear changing, which is inconsistent on all fronts. That way you'll enjoy your day more and you'll be safer to yourself and other drivers on track

it was a novice day so I guess driving standard for circuit driving was not reached? only on one corner did I not get in gear before apex of corner due to it being a 40mph exit so needed second gear but if select before you get to corner will over rev engine, any type r driver will understand this.
You could be going around there all day and you would still not get anywhere near passing the micra until he spun. Try an hours tuition it will make a big difference to your driving, Good luck
Well, I enjoyed it because I did a few laps at Brands Hatch in various vechicles about 30 years ago, and it was nice to see a familiar track. But I've never done a track day so I'm not going to comment on your driving. I think some of the comments from more experienced drivers were a bit harsh. Perhaps the entertaining carnage in the comments would be less if the title wasn't so misleading :o)
I don’t know how much you paid to do a track day at Brands, but I’d be fuming if I had to drive on the Indy circuit with Micras, Clios and someone driving a Lotus really slowly.
I can only assume that all of the carnage was visible in the mirrors only, and that cars were consistently flying off the track to the right and left. Fortunately, Subaru found a safe(r) time to get past !

Well I don't know about you but I think driving is stepping on the Gas pedal and steeeing. When it comes to trackday it's shifting gears up and down,braking into a turn and gasing it out of the turn,and passing. And I want to become a race car driver when I grow up
he started at the back and meat the front,so i have actually in effect done a a extra lap of the track to catch him up, was reluctant to get to close as you are technically only allowed to overtake on the straight or when other driver wavess you pass which he didnt and i was not fast enough on straights to pass safely, hope not to many people tune micras like this could get embarrasing!

Perhaps, but OP was tutting and facepalming behind the vehicle that spun even though said vehicle moved over a number of times and gave him ample opportunities to overtake which he couldn't manage because of his poor track positioning and own lack of skill. He wasn't actually faster anyway the only reason they were together on the track was because of traffic. At the point where the car spun OP was too busy making noises to concentrate and swerves impatiently around the car nearly causing a collision as swerved straight into a path of another vehicle. You can see from this guys other videos he went to track days from playing computer games - which probably explains why he can't change gear. He drives like a complete and utter cunt on the roads.
