The point of my comment is to illustrate the difference between what a passionate community can pull off for free, while triple A studios pour millions of dollars into game developing and still stay far away behind
Lol I hate seeing the over hyped praise for Starfield when it’s mid at best. It’s a game from 2013 same as fallout and Skyrim. But games like this are slept on. I put in something like 90-100hrs in a week when I found gamma last month
@@garrettbellinghausen8389ngl I'm enjoying starfield. But ill definitely agree it's a mid game definitely not GOTY. I'm just glad armored core 6 met if not exceeded my expectations.

Been playing for 3 hours straight and if this is the improvement we get from patch 0.9 to 0.9.1 my mind can't even grasp what Grok and all great modders will give us at 1.0.
I believe Grok has said that 1.0 will mostly be cleaning up the modlist

@@RaulBrnn Stalker 2 will not come out soon, it's far from being ready.
Finally the workshop won't be stucked in item descriptions!!! This is huge since most of the time you had to reload or find a page in the workshop that let you click on something so everything else got fixed, I wonder if they also fixed the stutter or slow process of opening the workshop since sometimes it freezes the game 2 seconds or so to just access the workshop.

You have single-handedly dominated the stalker gamma info scene, bravo man. I literally have so many of your videos on speed dial on my browser that I reference when finding guns and stuff 😂
I tried Defended Lab X10's addon as it was (7 minutes time limit) in a non GAMMA gameplay. It kicked me in the rear a dozen time before I finally got through, and found out that the Monolith in the last run were mostly armed with SVDs.
Glad that GAMMA's rebalanced it in this patch.
i waited for moxy's 0.91 showcase because i just know it would be more informative and easier to take in especially with the chapter sections
SVT was not removed, Renegade had one with scope when I was doing Pump Station defence mission for Clear Sky.

Really do not like the gun jam chance at any %. It is supposed to be a modular pack, so I hope there is a way to turn that off for 80%+ or similar.
Wasn't a fan of restricting attachments to 1. If you really wanted to play like that, there is nothing stopping you from restricting yourself. High tier artefacts were a pain to farm to begin with and most people don't even bother with them. Let's see if the new artefact changes make is worth the time sink.

I am so glad tasks are being localized. It's been one of my biggest frustrations since getting back into gamma for 0.9.
I would really like to see a mod added that contextualizes task failures. Why do I lose rep because Putnik Tomato from clear sky died to a pack of dogs raiding rookie village while I was getting him some duct tape?
@@SkullTorchaRS Why would you want missions in Pripyat while you're in Cordon and can't even get there within 30 hours of gameplay ?
@@SkullTorchaRS the stashes are localised (maybe i dont think it works properly yet), i have been getting lots of quests for outskirts/red forest/Jupiter on a fresh game start.

@@SkullTorchaRS Because when I start a new game and finish up with Fanatic the last thing I want to do is be asked to go to Limansk to kill some mercenary on my first day in the zone. That makes absolutely zero sense to me.
It doesn't make much sense from a realism perspective and makes absolutely zero sense from a gameplay perspective.

Man say what you will about anomaly being overrated, the amount of work that's put into the game by the community especially the GAMMA team is just a blessing. One of the best communities out there period

cuz i really think that at current point, moving the points of map change is not really a QoL change, that zone could be simply removed
This is so nice, I'm pretty sure this update fixed every single issue/annoyance I had with gamma. The guns jamming at high percentiles is gonna be a bit strange, might turn that off in the configs if I'm able 😄

Is there a way to save your mod settings before updating? It does get a bit tiring to spend a good bit of time in the mod manager after each update.. :)

yeah the changes are nice incredibly nice I have noticed way less bugs to the point I might just have to revert a tiny bit and see how things play out

i have a question now i know ive been told before that ammo doesnt require crafting recipes but for me it still needs the recipe for 5.45 ak rounds to be crafted and i want to know if thats an extra mod i should disable or if thats the way gamma was from the start cause im having trouble saving money when im always spending it on ammo i could at the point of my gameplay make on my own without any cost really need some pointers or help pls i would appreciate it
I really enjoy the new update, plays very well and the QoL are pretty awesome. Only thing i dont understand is the removal of the SVT. I mean we´re talking about a singleplayer game, so it cant really be for balancing reasons i guess.And even if so, anybody using the mosin, kar98 or said svt knows how expensive they can be to maintain ammo wise, so there would be that balance. Or was it meant it just got removed from starting loadouts or something?

Great video Null, the new gamma update is incredible. Any chance of a follow up of new EFP 4.2 release? They seem to be the top mod rivals.

I was reading the patch notes today and boy it just went on and on lol. Very happy to see some great qol mods become part of the default package, as well as the nasty parallel lines being gone. I've also taken to adding EFP's hideout mods and now I truly feel IMMERSED
edit: sadly the SVU still has the ugliest PSO scope model. one day someone will fix it ; u;
Did you need to make any big changes to the modlist to set up the hideout mods?

yeah it never made sense you could fast travel to zaton while the scorcher and machine are active

Hey Moxy (or others), do you know whether it's possible to get the summer(?) look back from 0.9? Ideally it should change seasons depending on the time of year (in game, not RL) but if I can only pick one season I'd prefer it green.

So many of these changes look great but some, like potential chimera PACKS, seem a little much for me. I dont know whether i should upgrade or not

Thank god for the freezoom FOV patch, you dont know how many times i got capped while aiming and now i have 65FOV lmao
Since the patch it feels like the drops from enemies are worse but stashes are better. Like i found much better weapons in the north in stashes than on npc's.
Finally, auto combine consumables. Such a big QOL change
the XM4 kinda looks like the Commando from BO1 with the strap wrapped around it

What did they do to the pistols? They look much lower quality and the animations are strange looking? Wonder if i can disable it but idk what the mod name would be.

edit: getting past the brain scorcher slows the game down for me so i’m glad they are focusing on that. it’s so barren it def needs plenty of roaming bands.

Hi. per usual love your videos. 1 question... after this update, everything works great APART from the brown looking zone. its like autumn or something. i have gardener of zone and Autumn retexture disabled and i got no idea why my zone looks like super brown ish. i had beautifull green zone before this. any tips maybe ?

It just replaces the animation, else it's exactly the same.

Hey, can you make a video explaining how the reputation/goodwill works on stalker Anomaly? It's confusing and I don't get it yet, thanks for you awesome guide videos, they helped me a lot!
If you shoot someone, you lose goodwill with there faction. If you do a quest for a faction, you gain goodwill.
The enemy stalkers are much more challenging to deal with. The 9mm fmj feels like air soft though even when hitting low rank stalkers with light armour
The stronger radiation hit of raw meat no longers gives one that much incentive to use that related artifact :c

I have got green stash after first white and I'm worried that I broke stashes logic somehow 🤔
You are Guarenteed to get a green stash after 8 stashes, but it can happen earlier.

Wait the brain scorcher is suposed to give you 11 minutes? I only got 7 and still had to fight all the monolith soldiers and only disabled it with 6 seconds left

Not too sure. I presume it’s impossible to balance as it’s a very strong gun
@@nullmoxy Hmmmm... I guess there was a reason in the real world for why they dropped it. Poor accuracy made it less useful for sniping. It was heavy and I think it might have been fiddly to repair.
On the whole I think it could be brought back with those limitations. It would be powerful but it would be a heavy, less flexible weapon.
Will old saves still work correctly with this new update? Or will we need to start a fresh game?
They will work, although some features may not, it is reccomended to start a new save.

That low jam chance change on any durability is indeed weird. Will wait for random modder to make a reverse of this as it's not even realistic.
