Big Blue Skies and Fossils at the Karoo National Park

I travel to one of my favorite places in South Africa; The Karoo National Park. Located in the Great Karoo, the Karoo National Park, part of Sanparks, is an arid national park that boasts an interesting variety of animals and flowers.
There is something special about the solitude, the quietness, the ancient mystical feeling that you get when you stand in the Karoo. I love it, and that is why I will keep going back.
In this episode I explore the park by visiting a picnic site called Bulkraal where I braai some juicy karoo lamb chops. I hike a short hiking trail called the Bossie Trail and just enjoy being immersed in these arid surroundings.
