- We're diving back into our Pan-American highway saga, picking up where we left off in the summer of 2023. And oh boy, did we hit a speed bump this time! 🚌💨
Thought crossing into Mexico for the 4th time would be a breeze? Think again! TIP - Temporary Import Permits - became our unexpected roadblock. Unlike in Baja California or Sonora, turns out Yucatan and other states we were driving through have their own set of rules. Forget that TIP, and you might as well start practicing your "I'm sorry, officer" face. 🤦♀️🚨

Nahh you won’t run into the same 😁 especially if you stick to Baja or Sonora, since those do not require a Temporary Import Permit
