Love seeing your adventures! What you might think is typical and normal life for you & Nate is so fascinating to me/us! Thank you so much for sharing your journey! Also, cocoa beach = worth the wait! Wow is that place gorgeous!! 😍
Can you guys do a complete video of everything you need to do to get to Baja? I’m hearing all sorts of scary things that you need to know before going! I’m working on my van conversion and want to make my first road trip to Baja, but I’m a solo female so I need to know the whole scoop. Lol Thanks so much! Carrie
You go! We've been living/working/traveling here in central Mexico for over 1.5 years now. Not going back to the U.S. Just flying out for visa runs in TJ....
I'm enjoying your videos; your conversations are entertaining and your views of cactuses, 🌵sunrise 🌅and sunse, and tonkins🦮. Keep doing what you're doing,so i can see more places 😊
Saw your video short about the rescue cat you acquired. When I had my last cat I discovered 'Indoor Cat Formula' dry food. It really made a difference!
The brazilian channel "Get Outside" doesn't have the same lucky in that border. They are in Mexico too. It's gonna be interesting accompany you both on the trip. Have a nice trip!
I love watching your videos, 🥰 you guys seem so genuine and nice and Tonkins is the cutest. I don’t have instagram anymore, is there any way you could post all of your videos on TH-cam too so I can watch them? 😅
Why risk going there? Im so confused as to why risk as you know it’s not safe there regardless. Most of them will tell you not to go there. This is how you end up on news etc.
Beautiful stops you made. Americans have to get visas to enter Mexico now? Wow! I have been to 29 countries, to Mexico 3 times, and only had to get a visa 1 time, to an eastern European country. Y'all stay safe.
So I'm not going to go into all the dangers of Mexico because I did that on one of your Mexico shorts, but if you haven't read that please do, girlfriend of mine just got back from Mexico and was schooled real quick on how dangerous it is there for white girls especially, and if you think you're safe at resorts or crowded areas with lots of people, think again. If you think the police offer any protection, think again. If you think these cartel and gang crimes against tourists are isolated events, think again. The laws of probability that you're going to be okay or safety in numbers aren't really valid in Mexico right now. Again, I'm not going to get into everything, but if you read the post I made on the short you have where you cross the border and get pulled over by the cop and all that, you'll say just what I mean. Please don't take the chance. Some of the people who thought it couldn't happen to them or either dead, being held, or being trafficked. And driving around in that van is especially a HUGE target with US plates, in a big van that might be hauling a bunch of valuable stuff for all they know. It's like having a bullseye on your van. My friend went to Mexico to stay with her Mexican family for what was supposed to be over a month, but ended up coming back to the US a week early because she was so petrified after being schooled on what life in Mexico is like right now. She was in what is considered a middle-class suburban Mexican Town, escorted by Mexican relatives, and that's not even safe. Her uncle told her when she got there "no matter what you do do not tell ANYBODY that you are American." The last time an American was in the village she got snatched right in front of him and her mother and she's never been seen again. Nobody will help. People are afraid to help. Please go read that other comment. What I just detailed is only the tip of the iceberg. Please. I am usually a pretty brave person, a risk-taker, and I usually go with the laws of averages, like what are the chances it's going to happen to me, safety in numbers type deal, but after hearing what my friend's Uncle told her, no freaking way would I be in mexico, ESPECIALLY with US plates!!!
Best part about this video is the fact that they didn't crop their dogs ears and tail. Enjoyed the rest of it as well, but that part made my heart so happy!
It should be against the law for people to mutilate animals just because they think it looks good. It's disgusting. To me it's basically the same as cutting off one of my children's ears because I think they would look better without them. Ugh
To create some awareness: Not every Doberman you see with cropped ears and docked tail was done by the owner you see them with. Shocker right? Sometimes they're rescues who already come like that. Nuance.
Not every Doberman you see with cropped ears and docked tail are because of the owner you see them with. Shocking right? Sometimes they're rescues or rehomed and came as they are. Nuance.
Have fun you two. Personally, I don't feel safe visiting Mexico, especially as a woman. Theres alot of things that happened there. Since you guys are boondocking, you're more likely safe.
@@chill-lady-brookMexico is way waaaayyyy worse, and yes talking with experience when we literally got robbed in our cab the we were traveling in when we were on vacation, what a nightmare
They make money by their videos being sponsored. That's why they sometimes mention the products they use, eat, etc. That's how people who make videos make money in general.
God you people in the comments have nothing but negativity to offer. How about letting people live instead of telling them what you think they should do with their lives?
#govegan like most other Van lifers. More ethical. More in tune with the earth and your bodies. Better for the animals. Better and easier for van life not having to store meat (carcass)
@@EdenMcCoy-rt9hp literally beans and rice are the cheapest things on the planet. So are carrots, celery, broccoli, lentils… Steak, chicken, pork on the other hand - expensive and EVIL af
I like your content! But don’t love the title on this video. “What it’s really like crossing the border”.. it invalidates other people’s experiences (particularly immigrants or refugees) crossing the border. Because crossing borders can look so many different ways.. retitling to “our experience crossing the border” would speak to your experience vs. generalizing the experience.. because it’s not the same for everyone. Just a food for thought. You probably didn’t mean any harm.. but wanted to offer the reflection and bring awareness.
She's obviously didn't mean it in a bad way 😅 and she didn't say "what it's REALLY like" she said "what it's like" meaning what it would prob be like crossing the border
It's kinda obvious they are speaking about their experience since it's a video aboutthem good lord! Stop focusing on things so intensly and try and zoom out and broaden your spectrum!!!
BEAUTIFUL couple and what nice adventures! Y’all make the Van life look so easy and fun. I would really like to try it out, one day, Lord willing. God bless and protect y’all❤️ I wanted to share God’s Good News with you. Whoever is reading this, God’s Holy Spirit is drawing you to your God. If you are not believers, I pray that one day very soon (today is the day for Salvation) you and your family will come to the way, the Truth, and the Life of JESUS Christ of Nazareth. He is the One and only true living God. I pray that you will choose to become born again spiritually. Becoming born again is repentance of sin’s and asking God to help us to turn away from anything that is a sin in His Holy Words and being baptized in Jesus name-water full immersion & being filled with God’s Holy Spirit with the evidence of praying in new tongues-a praying language. Please read the Holy Bible that has 66 books and you can also listen to it on the YouVersion App in many languages. JESUS loves you with a Perfect & Holy love. JESUS is coming very soon🙌🏽 I hope you choose to accept Him into your life if you have not already. Take care
You really should let him do donuts anywhere it's safe and it open parking lot because it gives you practice for when this shit happens for real😂 my yard neighborhood is filled with snow and slush and I took the Sprinter out in every way I could two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive to get a feel for what it's going to do and not do❤
Beautiful cactus sunset shots and at 11:18 the reflection in the van windows was just as spectacular.
Tonkins is carrying his weight just fine with that face!! ❤

Good information. You'll bring in a ton of new viewers if you can discuss your homesteading journey.
