Hello Ma'am Mandy, I have an approved H1B petition. And I'm worried for my VI since my father is overstaying in the US. How to increase my chance of being approved? Thank you.

But that's so unfair ... How can one adult be held responsible for actions of another adult ? I mean family members can do a plethora of unlawful things behind one's back... Denying visa to a genuine candidate purely on the basis of relative's actions is not justified at all ...

sadly, a family member's actions will affect me. I thought visa approval or denials was supposed to be based on merit

    Hello Mandy Maam,
With a heavy heart, I want to inform you that the US embassy refused my visa again without any specific reason.
They asked me the following questions:
    Why this university
    Previous education
    When your classes will start
    Classes timing day/evening
    How many classes per semester?
Then, Visa officer: Unfortunately, you're not meeting with requirements to get a student visa, I left in shock with tears in my eyes, This was so heartbreaking.

This could be due to a number of factors, and it may not be a cause for concern. Feel free to reach out to the embassy or consulate where you applied to seek an update!
