I remember when I was living in Bradshaw NE and he came by and we had a pretty good tornado that day. My uncle blocked him from going down a certain road reed shouldn't have been going down
Great job using it as a learning experience for the kids. Nobody panicked and parents were explaining the hail, tornado and most importantly empathy for others. ❤
that was incredible ,that was a huge tornado ,i must hand it to you and your family ,i would have been scared and running into my basement or shelter ,great job!!
I am a trained storm chaser / spotter for NWS SKYWARN here in Alabama. I watched the video great grab btw. But at no time was this moving towards your location. If you go back and follow the tornado footage you can easily see it's moving from right to left watch the trees on the ground compared to the movement of the funnel it may have been on an angle to your left but it wasn't coming at you at any time. But for if a next time it you see the tornado is stationary then yes it is moving towards you!!!
Yes, I’m in lincoln and can confirm this was definitely not moving towards air park. It was moving northeast, away from them. I was a heck of a lot closer to the tornado than they were, but I couldn’t even see it from my house 😂
Never been in a tornado in my life. I moved to McAlester Oklahoma in 2007 and it was only hit by one tornado in its life time and the date the tornado hit McAlester Oklahoma was May 8th 1882. It has been 140+ years since that day that a tornado has hit McAlester Oklahoma.
If you do not see a tornado shift either to left or slowly shift to the right( look at outer edges of it), then it is coming right in YOUR direction!!!!!
It was moving away. Air Park is on the very western edge of Lincoln, and the storm was moving to the northeast. The same system clobbered neighborhoods in Elkhorn a short time later.
Moving away from them..... Tornado's often change shapes and sizes. Just because you are watching it from such a distance doesn't mean it's coming directly at you. It can become stationary or like this one, move directly away from you. Please don't clog the highways unnecessarily running from a danger that's only perceived. There's emergency vehicles and actual victims that need to be able to move.
Now I'm wondering how population centers like Las Vegas would be affected should one spawn along say, the Strip. Sand and cash just whirling about with the occasional hooker flying by. Or better yet, some ambitious entrepreneur builds a tornado simulator for people to experience tornadic winds in a controlled environment. No sand, of course. Hookers and cash, maybe. Like on Friday nights only. 😂
Never seen a tornado in real life. But I've definitely been through them more nocturnal tornados than anything. But also never anything too severe either thank the good Lord too! But I would love to chase one day! I think that would be amazing to see Gods glory and power in a storm like that.
Unfortunately mother nature doesn't respond to prayer. It does what it does and no wishful thinking will change it. Good video of it. Looks like its coming toward you. If it looks still you best find shelter immediately.
GOD responds to prayer…it just may not be the response a person wants. He gave us life and who are we to question our creator. He reveals much once you follow him, but He gives us free will to choose. We pray to Jesus because He is everyone’s salvation. You may not believe, but that doesn’t mean Jesus is not real. Quite the contrary. He was written about 2000 years ago in the Bible (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth). Mother Nature is a man made term. God is the creator of “Mother Nature” and by many eyewitness account 2000 years ago, Jesus walked on water, calmed storms and died for our salvation and rose again. I suggest starting with the gospel of Mark. A building is proof of a builder, just as creation is proof of a creator. The “big bang theory” has been debunked. God bless you.
No Kansas it's a joke hope everyone is safe in Nebraska and Iowa when tornado hits though and prayers are with everyone who were impacts by serve weather and tornado 🌪 sorry about joke 😪
The adjective definition of "awesome" is extremely impressive or daunting; inspiring great admiration, apprehension, or fear. SO.... She was right. You weren't.
If Reed Timmer comes to Town, he's bringing hell with him 😂
Reed was on the state of Kentucky once and we wind up with 20 tornadoes that day
I remember when I was living in Bradshaw NE and he came by and we had a pretty good tornado that day. My uncle blocked him from going down a certain road reed shouldn't have been going down
Remember, if you think its 'just kinda sitting there,' it's probably coming towards you.
I was just coming on here to say that.
In the top 5 pieces of advice to live by in the South.
Along with appearing to be getting larger.
This 1 did sit in 1 spot and destroy a factory for a while
Ya, but this tornado is obviously moving right to left.
Great job using it as a learning experience for the kids. Nobody panicked and parents were explaining the hail, tornado and most importantly empathy for others. ❤
My sentiments exactly.
Yep! If Reed Timmer is in your neighborhood, it's time to pay attention!
So true! I always say When you SEE reed … ya FLEA! ! I go the other way! Many of times he was in my town, nope I go the opposite way.
I lived in same neighborhood for 10 years ?
That Tornado 🌪️ sounds like a Hopped up Honda! 🙃 Good video! 👍🏻
Rough! The best view of a tornado is the furthest one from it...Thank you for sharing...🇺🇸 👍☕
This is one of the best vids I've seen in recent months.
And true, if it's sitting still its either turning or already coming at you!
Be safe🙏🙏
And appearing to be growing.
Terribly beautiful, thanks for sharing
Kids put your shoes on you can get sick
great capture. and good way to capture the rotation of the mesocyclone; the whole damn storm is rotating.
\
This channel has the blue Angeles jets flying over there house. Wow! Great channel!
If it looks like it's not moving that means it headed your direction, always remember that it will help keep you safe 😊🙏
It's not just "sitting there" it's heading your direction... that's what they say anyway. 🙏🏻
A tornado just doesn't sit there! It's coming in your direction! A false sense of security! Getting bigger because it's getting closer!! 🤦♀️😂😬
That was an amazing view!
that was incredible ,that was a huge tornado ,i must hand it to you and your family ,i would have been scared and running into my basement or shelter ,great job!!
Such a pretty neighborhood.
Wow! Great footage, praying for all in the path. Really scary!
🙏😢🙏
I'm 65 and never see one. Sure have seen the damage from one. Wow good job again.

Unless it drops after it goes past you and it is moving away. It can appear stationary. Also, some tornadoes actually are stationary.
Thanks for praying God Bless
It went up to an EF3 I think it was said by other youtubers. At the end when it was dying down it is called "ropeing out."
🤦♂️when it appears to stalls out, means it’s coming right towards you like everyone else says

Famous last words? Just kidding. I hope.
Glad you guys are safe

It stayed almost motionless relative to the roof corner. It was coming right toward you.
It was moving away. Air Park is on the very western edge of Lincoln, and the storm was moving to the northeast. The same system clobbered neighborhoods in Elkhorn a short time later.
@@texaswunderkindExactly 💯
It doesn't appear to be moving, it's getting bigger that means it's coming towards you.
Was going to comment just this

Good job! Spooky stuff.
Like your moniker!

Where is this?
He said it multiple times & it's in the title? 😂 The air park Lincoln, Nebraska
I would run out & get the bird feeder & bring it inside.
Thank you for asking for others❤ but..its heading for you!!!!
Watch pecos hank..learn!!!!
I absolutely love pecos hank
Its difficult to watch something like that live, knowing peoples lives are being destroyed as it happens.
1 mile from my house
I wish I could see a tornado IRL. But I live in Nevada.

Btw big fan of Reed Timmer and a lot of other chasers and meteorologists too. ❤
I live in tornado valley and yet I’ve never seen a tornado
@@Gorilla_bott501I live in North Western Pennsylvania and have seen 2. One was completely by accident, the other was storm chasing.
Sometimes referred to as the "finger of God." Stay safe.
