      Reed was on the state of Kentucky once and we wind up with 20 tornadoes that day

      I remember when I was living in Bradshaw NE and he came by and we had a pretty good tornado that day. My uncle blocked him from going down a certain road reed shouldn't have been going down

    Great job using it as a learning experience for the kids. Nobody panicked and parents were explaining the hail, tornado and most importantly empathy for others. ❤

    I am a trained storm chaser / spotter for NWS SKYWARN here in Alabama. I watched the video great grab btw. But at no time was this moving towards your location. If you go back and follow the tornado footage you can easily see it's moving from right to left watch the trees on the ground compared to the movement of the funnel it may have been on an angle to your left but it wasn't coming at you at any time. But for if a next time it you see the tornado is stationary then yes it is moving towards you!!!

    • @jordanhernandez7642
      @jordanhernandez7642 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, I’m in lincoln and can confirm this was definitely not moving towards air park. It was moving northeast, away from them. I was a heck of a lot closer to the tornado than they were, but I couldn’t even see it from my house 😂

    • @roadkillavenger1325
      @roadkillavenger1325 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unless it drops after it goes past you and it is moving away. It can appear stationary. Also, some tornadoes actually are stationary.

    Never been in a tornado in my life. I moved to McAlester Oklahoma in 2007 and it was only hit by one tornado in its life time and the date the tornado hit McAlester Oklahoma was May 8th 1882. It has been 140+ years since that day that a tornado has hit McAlester Oklahoma.

    If you do not see a tornado shift either to left or slowly shift to the right( look at outer edges of it), then it is coming right in YOUR direction!!!!!

    • @texaswunderkind
      @texaswunderkind 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It was moving away. Air Park is on the very western edge of Lincoln, and the storm was moving to the northeast. The same system clobbered neighborhoods in Elkhorn a short time later.

      Moving away from them..... Tornado's often change shapes and sizes. Just because you are watching it from such a distance doesn't mean it's coming directly at you. It can become stationary or like this one, move directly away from you. Please don't clog the highways unnecessarily running from a danger that's only perceived. There's emergency vehicles and actual victims that need to be able to move.

      Now I'm wondering how population centers like Las Vegas would be affected should one spawn along say, the Strip. Sand and cash just whirling about with the occasional hooker flying by. Or better yet, some ambitious entrepreneur builds a tornado simulator for people to experience tornadic winds in a controlled environment. No sand, of course. Hookers and cash, maybe. Like on Friday nights only. 😂

    Unfortunately mother nature doesn't respond to prayer. It does what it does and no wishful thinking will change it. Good video of it. Looks like its coming toward you. If it looks still you best find shelter immediately.

    • @modenam9046
      @modenam9046 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      GOD responds to prayer…it just may not be the response a person wants. He gave us life and who are we to question our creator. He reveals much once you follow him, but He gives us free will to choose. We pray to Jesus because He is everyone’s salvation. You may not believe, but that doesn’t mean Jesus is not real. Quite the contrary. He was written about 2000 years ago in the Bible (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth). Mother Nature is a man made term. God is the creator of “Mother Nature” and by many eyewitness account 2000 years ago, Jesus walked on water, calmed storms and died for our salvation and rose again. I suggest starting with the gospel of Mark. A building is proof of a builder, just as creation is proof of a creator. The “big bang theory” has been debunked. God bless you.
