I see that windrunner pragmatism hasn't faded. I found it interesting that she tensed up when Khadgar referenced Xal'atath. Yet she keeps secrets from him. I love how Jaina referenced Lord Stormsong as well. Because ever since BFA, I don't think they even mentioned the void having a presence within their lands until now.
Khadgar seems so... tired, and sad, in this cinematic. Which, is fair given he's around sixty years old I think, and all the current stress he's under, but still... Sad to see. Unlike the faction leaders or the flash in the pan expansion characters, he's been our in game guide since the Dark Portal opened. He's a MAJOR pillar of the setting. There's a reason we call him Dadgar, after all. Really, REALLY hope they do him justice if it does wind up his time to go... Though I just can't see that really happening without Atiesh first finding a new owner, a Guardian named, and Medivh returned.
A Hilarious possible player reaction that could be implemented ingame could possibly reveal the player's interactions that released Xalath 😅 Khadgar: How in the world did Xalath get her own void elf body?! Player dialgue options: (Keep quiet and shuffle away)/ "Oh... Yeah about that uuuhhhhh... So you remember a couple years ago when the blade went missing originally? Yeeaaahh... That was uuhh... So there was this thing that She... TRICKED Yes, Tricked me into doing which involved... getting her a body... And well... I'm gonna shut up now and go kill things like always..."
about the Xalatath=Harbringer bit - while we the players were the only ones who saw her freed and take a body, even if our characters told the important people of the world about it, there is no connection between her name and the title of Harbringer in the game. The title is used in forbidden rach in the naga camp, they have the book talking about Azshara and The Harbringer 'gathering the children of the first flesh' (first flesh being the Aqir) and then Iridikron uses it when talking to Vyranoth. Us players knew its was Xal the moment we saw an elf siluette behind a void portal in the Dawn of the Infinite cutscene and then we got confirmation from Holly on the Blizzcon stage. So ingame there is actualy no coreletion between the two and it kinda makes (again) the weird 'it was agatha all along' meme relevant again :D Wouldnt be the first time when the story is presented in a way that players know more than their characters - even our characters have no confirmation that Xalatath is the Harbringer, its all our (players) knowledge. The Magni part of why nobody is going to him is for sure a weird one, considering its similar with the Xalatath=Harbringer part. mby they tried but he is nowhere to be found (and only the players can access the Heart Chamber?) or maybe they found him and he told them to F off in dwarven accent since he is in his emo era. This one we gotta wait and see i guess
I never understood the controversy regarding what Turalyon and Alleria did in Shadows Rising. Warcraft's Hitler is on the run, you send 2 generals of a 1)thousand year old 2)guerrilla war against 3)demons. Did we expect these two care about the Azerothian Geneva Convention?!
Theyre psychos. Straight up. They talk about how much arator means to them and how they cant die without seeing him again, but they chose to just jump throigh that portal like it was nothing.
Also 4) there is no Azerothian "Geneva Convention". At no point have all factions agreed not to do XYZ particular things. There is honor and morality, but various factions either never gave a sh*t about that stuff or find reasons to set it aside just like often happens in the real world. Turalyon and Alleria, well their ideas about honor and morality have been shaped by events we know nothing about so it would be more surprising if they didn't appear amoral to us. They may technically be from here but they've been away for multiple lifetimes at this point.
It really says something about the Windrunner sisters that the void-infused one is the nicest one xD 4:05 "I believe Khadgar is around 60 to 65ish." Close. Khadgar was 17 when sent to Medivh, and it's been 40-41 years since the Dark Portal was opened. So he would be 57-58 at most, depending on how long after opening the Dark Portal did Khadgar arrive at Karazhan. I think the books (The Last Guardian, Tides of Darkness, Beyond the Dark Portal) mention his specific age (I recall him arguing with Alleria about his appearance and age in Beyond the Dark Portal), I only remember him being 17 in the Last Guardian off the top of my head. 10:19 "So while Turalyon definitely has the potential to cause a big ol' war [...] he hasn't." People's belief that he would start a war is really baffling to me, as the only way I could see it happen would be if Blizzard drastically changed his character (which to be fair I wouldn't put past them). This is the guy who hesitated before destroing black dragon eggs because they were innocent, who knelt before an undead and asked for a blessing, who worked with Illidan despite him killing the being that he had followed for thousands of years into battle., and who warns Anduing that the Light can guide them but never control them. I think it's safe to assume he's not going to go evil (and certainly not ally with Yrel in Light crusade or whatever the main theory is now, I'll admit I stopped paying attention ;p)
@@catxborsuq1He's lived for 1,000 years because time flows differently in the Twisting Nether, which is where he and Alleria got sent after the events of WC2. To us, they were only hone a few decades, but to them, they were in the Nether fighting the Legion with the Army of the Light for 1,000 years.
Exactly right, Turalyon is never going to be the culprit of such a thing. If anything he would be an enabler that with good intentions unleashes new problems but he is not going to be evil and it has been already pretty well stablished that he would always chose his wife over the light
I have a bit of a head Canon in regards to my main. In that, being from Stratholme as well, Turalyon was a goddamn hero to my character. I know it's silly, but it would be heartbreaking if they assassinated Turalyon's character in such a nonsensical way. I still feel some sort of way about the whole "light secretly bad" nonsense. I'm glad Metzen is trying to steer at least a little bit away from that.
Am I the only one that sees that the harbinger is alleria and she feels treathened when he says the harbinger. And she uses a lot of game of words with him telling us she is the Harbinger Khadgar: in the hands of the harbinger search for him Alleria : could use the distraction … u will see me with it in hands
It's an interesting thought as all things with the void usually have multiple meanings aka multiple truths. We do know that xalatath is the harbinger of the void that is her other title but they do seem to be linking or even comparing Alleria with xalatath.
One of the most confusing things with modern lore is the interaction with the light and the void. Somebody at Blizzard has got to explain how it apparently hurts for Alleria and Turalyon to touch but Discipline Priests exist. Not to mention Lightbound Draenei Shadow Priests and Void Elf Holy Priests. To clarify, I don't have a problem that these things exist but it flies directly in the face of the lore. I'm fully on board for any race/class combo. It's just the way that Blizzard is explaining how the void and the light work are making things tricky.
Well Alleria is essentially voidforged and Turalyon is actually lightforged, those cosmic forces are a physical part of them, although I think now it only hurts for them to touch when Alleria is using her void powers. Discipline priest wield the two magics but they are not physically part of the character. And, as far as I'm aware, we haven't seen any lightforged shadow priest or Holy priest void elves in the lore, so they probably aren't cannon (yet). And obviously they aren't going to just ban those specs for players. Also, the light is very painful for undead but we have Forsaken holy priests in the lore. Yes, it physically hurts them but it still heals them. Pain doesn't always ≠ damaging.

Alleria has a dark Naaru infused inside of her while Turalyon got infused by a Light Naaru, likely the same one who Illidan killed. Alleria is the reason to why the void elves exist and Turalyon is the reason why the Lightforged Draenei are a thing, where they go through a whole trial to earn the light infusion. Don’t go around accusing others of manufacturing false lore if you, yourself, sound like you’ve never even played the game.

Not the slightest bit convinced that anybody is hearing any voice from Azeroth the world soul. Voices from underground, yes, but many other kinds of voices that we are already familiar with from past expansions can be underground. The highest possible culprit on the list in my opinion is a Light or Void Naaru... maybe even the same entity flipping back and forth from Light to void.
yea people keeping being confused wondering why no one knows its Azeroth, when no one except Magni has actually heard her voice before. Voices in your head is not new in warcraft either, very well could be demons or void by anyones guess.

The Voice that Mangi could hear in BFA that may or may not have been Azeroth was something that only he could hear. Khadgar willfully took no part in the War during BFA but certainly he knows about Magni being able to hear the world soul. He also knows that Magni can commune with the world soul because of his unique situation. It would be very odd for the entirety of Azeroth to suddenly be hearing it too. I would also imagine Jaina who took a much more active part in BFA is well aware of this fact and is likely going to speak to Magni when she takes that portal. We know from data mining that Magni is in some form present in the War Within, but his model is far less... radiant than what we've seen since BFA. Maybe his connection to the world soul is changed or severed? That would be even stranger that everyone can hear this voice if it is the world soul.
Will we finally figure out what was under Tirisfal Glades that drove some of the early High Elves to insanity which forced them to find a new place to settle? Maybe thats something we'll see in Midnight if not this expansion.
We did already, in Legion. It was Xal'atath, and the C'thraxx bound under Lordamere Lake by Keeper Tyr. Paladins took the Silver Hand and defeated the C'thraxx, Shadow Priests took Xal'atath. Tirisfal Glades is officially certified free of weird whispers. However, while the quest to re-awaken the keeper did clarify why the C'thraxx was bound there with the Silver Hand, it is unclear how Xal got there. Though it likely has to do with the Cult of Forgotten Shadow. It is also now clear that Xal and the C'thraxx had something to do with Invincible's death, and thus also Arthas' betrayal. Though we still haven't found out exactly what happened there (which means we definitely will be venturing back to Torghast, because I'm going to put money on us needing to talk to Arthas about that night sometime soon).
I fear what is to come in TWW. Not ready to let go of a certain character. But I fear due to some mentions in vids, and footage of opening area; that my fears will be confirmed. Alot of people i've seen always cast Turalyon as almost a warmonger, almost wanted him to start Civil War within the Alliance. But they forget he was one of the first 5 Paladins. Paladins were created to defend the Alliance, not be their elite troopers. Paladins were created to combat Guldan's DeathKnights, and once they had awakened their holy abilities they did that very well. Since then the Paladins that have followed, with the Blood Knights, and Scarlet Crusade being the exceptions. Paladins at least to me have been more like the Jedi to the Alliance Like the Jedi were to the Republic. Guardians, warriors at times, but most meant to be Guardians of the Peace. I hope they never take Turalyon to the path of a warmonger. It would ruin the character for me, and I feel would be against his character. Yes he has spent a long time in the Twisting Neather fighting for the Army of the Light, but again that was ever to defend people. So when Nobble says he has lead the Alliance through one of its more peaceful times, it is not a surprise to me.
It is very strange that we were told outright in 10.0 in the vow eternal that Alleria and Turalyon were happy once again and now they say she has distanced herself from (though it probably means it is something recent due to the new whispers). And in shadowrising it was also said that they can touch each other again and it is made quite clear they love each other very much. I don’t think you were on the right track there
Trying to look up the referances a bit. Seems like in Shadows rising they make mention of how her void form would brand him, now the touch was a balm and in Vow Eternal they're having a good time at the wedding, but seperate from eachother? Imagine that's how they'll play into it. As you said more recent due to new whispers. We know her song is way different compared to the others, the void be calling. Maybe she recently, the arathor short story, heard the call/stepped away?
@@Nobbel87 Yep I think the vow eternal was “everything is fine” a calm before the storm, point for the story. They rekindled things, which to me means they were being a happy couple again with all that entails but her song as you say is different, so new whispers that may have caused further issues. I am sure they will acknowledge this in the short story because it clearly implies she is also having issues with Arator, not just Turalyon ( who even if not explicitly said seemed to grow from the same place, where her nightmares/whispers were being too much to handle) What a mess of a mother being honest 😂
They are all already aware of the world soul in Azeroth, have been since legion im pretty sure, in the pre expac event questlines. So I dont know how they havent realized it, or at least speculated, it may be the soul of Azeroth.
Probably 1 of 2 things is gonna happen. Xal'atath attacks Dalaran on her own volition cuz she knows how important it was in aiding us in defeating the Legion. Or.... Alleria is successful is retrieving the Dark Heart and brings it to Dalaran and thats what leads Xal'atath to attack Dalaran because she wants it back. Also a possibility Xal'atath "gives" Alleria the Dark Heart by being "stupid" making her think she won and took it by force.
I feel like Alleria knows more about the Harbinger than she letting out. It would explain why she asked very little details during her interaction with Khadgar.
Also i think aleria is the true harbinger. "At the hour of her third death she ushers in our coming" She has dialog the specificly points out that shes already felt like shes died twice. What if khadgar dying/her child dying that begins it all?
Asking why the people don't immediately think it's Azeroth, This is the first time She has actually spoken though correct? Seem to remember Magni describing it as feelings and sensations and such right? So I guess that could be why they don't assume it's Her. Also, not asking Magni might have something to do with his new darkened model?
Because this is the Old God's MO. And after fighting them directly in at least four separate expansions (Wrath, Cata, MoP, BFA), the characters aren't leaving anything to chance. Its highly likely they're thinking its another unknown old god who decided to toss up the playbook a bit. As for Magni, whenever he spoke to Azeroth in our company, she was scared. Frightened. Blasting emotions and feelings everywhere, and suffering horrific nightmares herself. Which we fight as manifestations. Its quite possible he's never heard Azeroth speaking normally/calmly, so he can't really describe what her calm tone is like. Plus I think his darkened model means his connection to her as weakened as well.
I'm surprised the video speculation didn't go toward this Alleria that comes before Khadgar being an impostor and actually Xal'atath herself based on the thumbnail. Alleria's voice in the cinematic is overlayed with another's. Some might say that's just the void influence however we don't hear the same overlap in the War Within feature trailer and it may be an oversight be considering how much thought and effort they're putting into the world soul saga I sincerely doubt that's the case. Also I've seen people complaining that this model of Alleria is the old one and not the one expected to be seen based on her War Within keyart. It could just be that she hasn't changed clothes yet or maybe Xal's intel is behind in the times. Very interesting stuff.
Fair idea, though looks changing are always a bit weird in game. You have examples like Jaina who consistently change bit by bit, yet I think in some dragonflight cutscene they show the past aspects with the new models. Then again, that may just be be nitpicking.
Kadghar looks phenomenal. Jaina looks derpy. Woah. That very last portion of the video. They're gonna fuckin have aleria be responsible for arator and kadghars deaths. Maybe turelyian too. Heavy. We need some heavy.
I just hope to god khadgar gets a full on cinematic or a really well crafted in game one where he shows his full power in an all out battle that ends his life. Anything less will be sad. Maybe even he has to become the guardian for a little to win and loses despite the power.

ngl Legion khadgar model was peak. idk what they did exactly but they somehow made all the models "less rough and edgy" and more "babyfaced and cutesy".
At the end of the video when you sed "she's completley difrent" a thought enterd my mind. What if that is not aleria, what if thats xalatath or one of the void lords. Btw have you gone to the dark caves underneth Ogrimar? I found a suprise there with some "horde" members guarding the suprise. Meaning the device that kept the shadowlands and the realm of the living seperate is no longer active. And its no longer needed and tbh its now that the dragon isls expansion is over its now completley irelevant.
Not gonna lie but I'd kinda love it if Alleria gets side-tracked by a little bit of evil, her causing a devastation and then regretting it etc. It runs in the family, doesn't it :D Would be a great way to reconnect to Sylvanas - and Vereesa! who helped Jaina purge Dalaran - which BTW we may see happening again in Remix?? --- So if you're right and Alleria actually destroyed Dalaran and killed Khadgar... Then all three Windrunner sisters have comitted atrocities/genocide....

That aleria with kadgard isent aleria thats Xalatath. When Nzoth freed xalatath she walked of in a specific way with a certin gesture with her left hand, exactly the same way the aleria with kadgard did in the new video. Also she might not be a void god. Xalatath could be one of Sire Denathrius peopel sins she's just as good at manipulating as Sire Denathrius and his dread lords is. And on the test servers you say the real Aleria wants to hunt down xalatath, she whould want to do that if xalatath inpersonated aleria and took out dalaran and kadgar. Also the voice actor for kadgar is really old at this point so it also makes sense to kill kadgar at this point. And killing kadgar and taking out dalaran will also force ppl to do stuff and that forces peopel to "hunt down" xalatath and others and so on and so on. She's basicly forcing the story to happen, forcing peopel to act on XALATATH's terms as she wants. So right now she's controling everything and we are just along for the ride like a little puppy or kitten.

The stories have gotten so complex that we desperately need addons either from the Dev team or the community so that we can walk through the stories of each character separately. I am sure that with some characters like thrall or jaina you would be able to level some good 20-30 levels just exploring their stories (no boar-killing bullshit).
I can't tell if this really is a meeting of two old friends who've traveled between worlds and invaded a place called the "hellfire peninsula together and witnessed a dark ritual that destroyed the very planet they invaded. Or just two Disney schmucks just bumbling around each other's words. Where is the gravitas?

I always see the whole "them not knowing who it is" to be similar to religion. Example: You go to church every week and some guy up in the front tells you that HE hears God, and God speaks to him and he kind of relates what he hears and knows and learns to those listening to him. So you kind of just take his word for it that God is speaking to him. Similar to Magni, magni was the only one who could hear Azeroth directly and he would translate. But in real life if suddenly you, as a church goer, just woke up hearing a voice in your head, I don't think you'd immediately go "OH ITS GOD SPEAKING TO ME", you'd probably be more like WTF is going on!?!?!?. Not to mention on Azeroth there are a million things that could speak to you, Elementals, Old Gods, the Light even Thrall questions if it's The New World Tree, so them not knowing who it is calling to them could be more them being like who the f knows what could be invading our minds this time around we need to know for sure.

about the Xalatath=Harbringer bit - while we the players were the only ones who saw her freed and take a body, even if our characters told the important people of the world about it, there is no connection between her name and the title of Harbringer in the game. The title is used in forbidden rach in the naga camp, they have the book talking about Azshara and The Harbringer 'gathering the children of the first flesh' (first flesh being the Aqir) and then Iridikron uses it when talking to Vyranoth. Us players knew its was Xal the moment we saw an elf siluette behind a void portal in the Dawn of the Infinite cutscene and then we got confirmation from Holly on the Blizzcon stage. So ingame there is actualy no coreletion between the two and it kinda makes (again) the weird 'it was agatha all along' meme relevant again :D Wouldnt be the first time when the story is presented in a way that players know more than their characters - even our characters have no confirmation that Xalatath is the Harbringer, its all our (players) knowledge.
The Magni part of why nobody is going to him is for sure a weird one, considering its similar with the Xalatath=Harbringer part. mby they tried but he is nowhere to be found (and only the players can access the Heart Chamber?) or maybe they found him and he told them to F off in dwarven accent since he is in his emo era. This one we gotta wait and see i guess
I never understood the controversy regarding what Turalyon and Alleria did in Shadows Rising.
Warcraft's Hitler is on the run, you send 2 generals of a 1)thousand year old 2)guerrilla war against 3)demons. Did we expect these two care about the Azerothian Geneva Convention?!
Theyre psychos. Straight up. They talk about how much arator means to them and how they cant die without seeing him again, but they chose to just jump throigh that portal like it was nothing.
Also 4) there is no Azerothian "Geneva Convention". At no point have all factions agreed not to do XYZ particular things. There is honor and morality, but various factions either never gave a sh*t about that stuff or find reasons to set it aside just like often happens in the real world. Turalyon and Alleria, well their ideas about honor and morality have been shaped by events we know nothing about so it would be more surprising if they didn't appear amoral to us. They may technically be from here but they've been away for multiple lifetimes at this point.

Close. Khadgar was 17 when sent to Medivh, and it's been 40-41 years since the Dark Portal was opened. So he would be 57-58 at most, depending on how long after opening the Dark Portal did Khadgar arrive at Karazhan. I think the books (The Last Guardian, Tides of Darkness, Beyond the Dark Portal) mention his specific age (I recall him arguing with Alleria about his appearance and age in Beyond the Dark Portal), I only remember him being 17 in the Last Guardian off the top of my head.

People's belief that he would start a war is really baffling to me, as the only way I could see it happen would be if Blizzard drastically changed his character (which to be fair I wouldn't put past them). This is the guy who hesitated before destroing black dragon eggs because they were innocent, who knelt before an undead and asked for a blessing, who worked with Illidan despite him killing the being that he had followed for thousands of years into battle., and who warns Anduing that the Light can guide them but never control them. I think it's safe to assume he's not going to go evil (and certainly not ally with Yrel in Light crusade or whatever the main theory is now, I'll admit I stopped paying attention ;p)
I think a light Naaru will "convert" Turalyon like they tried to do with Ilidan making him a puppet and enforcing the light on everyone

To us, they were only hone a few decades, but to them, they were in the Nether fighting the Legion with the Army of the Light for 1,000 years.
Exactly right, Turalyon is never going to be the culprit of such a thing. If anything he would be an enabler that with good intentions unleashes new problems but he is not going to be evil and it has been already pretty well stablished that he would always chose his wife over the light
I have a bit of a head Canon in regards to my main. In that, being from Stratholme as well, Turalyon was a goddamn hero to my character. I know it's silly, but it would be heartbreaking if they assassinated Turalyon's character in such a nonsensical way. I still feel some sort of way about the whole "light secretly bad" nonsense. I'm glad Metzen is trying to steer at least a little bit away from that.

It's an interesting thought as all things with the void usually have multiple meanings aka multiple truths.
We do know that xalatath is the harbinger of the void that is her other title but they do seem to be linking or even comparing Alleria with xalatath.
One of the most confusing things with modern lore is the interaction with the light and the void. Somebody at Blizzard has got to explain how it apparently hurts for Alleria and Turalyon to touch but Discipline Priests exist. Not to mention Lightbound Draenei Shadow Priests and Void Elf Holy Priests.
To clarify, I don't have a problem that these things exist but it flies directly in the face of the lore. I'm fully on board for any race/class combo. It's just the way that Blizzard is explaining how the void and the light work are making things tricky.
Well Alleria is essentially voidforged and Turalyon is actually lightforged, those cosmic forces are a physical part of them, although I think now it only hurts for them to touch when Alleria is using her void powers.
Discipline priest wield the two magics but they are not physically part of the character.
And, as far as I'm aware, we haven't seen any lightforged shadow priest or Holy priest void elves in the lore, so they probably aren't cannon (yet). And obviously they aren't going to just ban those specs for players.
Also, the light is very painful for undead but we have Forsaken holy priests in the lore. Yes, it physically hurts them but it still heals them. Pain doesn't always ≠ damaging.

@freshfruit213 Turalyon is lightforged in the audio drama 'A thoughsand Years of War'. Alleria is infused with void energies in a Legion cinematic at the end of the Seat of the Triumvirate dungeon.
@@freshfruit213 That’s the literal plot line of the Argus campaign back in Legion. Alleria has a dark Naaru infused inside of her while Turalyon got infused by a Light Naaru, likely the same one who Illidan killed.
Alleria is the reason to why the void elves exist and Turalyon is the reason why the Lightforged Draenei are a thing, where they go through a whole trial to earn the light infusion.
Don’t go around accusing others of manufacturing false lore if you, yourself, sound like you’ve never even played the game.

Not the slightest bit convinced that anybody is hearing any voice from Azeroth the world soul. Voices from underground, yes, but many other kinds of voices that we are already familiar with from past expansions can be underground. The highest possible culprit on the list in my opinion is a Light or Void Naaru... maybe even the same entity flipping back and forth from Light to void.

@@wisedoomy1584 Yep. You can even rewind to Burning Crusade where we had Naaru both in Shattrath city and also in netherstorm who proved they can magically invade your mind and speak to you without there being any audible voice moving through the air at you at all.

Core memory unlocked of me as a child crying as I finished beyond the dark portal for the first time.
The Voice that Mangi could hear in BFA that may or may not have been Azeroth was something that only he could hear. Khadgar willfully took no part in the War during BFA but certainly he knows about Magni being able to hear the world soul. He also knows that Magni can commune with the world soul because of his unique situation. It would be very odd for the entirety of Azeroth to suddenly be hearing it too.
I would also imagine Jaina who took a much more active part in BFA is well aware of this fact and is likely going to speak to Magni when she takes that portal. We know from data mining that Magni is in some form present in the War Within, but his model is far less... radiant than what we've seen since BFA. Maybe his connection to the world soul is changed or severed? That would be even stranger that everyone can hear this voice if it is the world soul.
I've been following Nobbel from basically day 1, and fuck... Is he a vampire? The guy hasn't changed at all.
Will we finally figure out what was under Tirisfal Glades that drove some of the early High Elves to insanity which forced them to find a new place to settle? Maybe thats something we'll see in Midnight if not this expansion.
We did already, in Legion. It was Xal'atath, and the C'thraxx bound under Lordamere Lake by Keeper Tyr. Paladins took the Silver Hand and defeated the C'thraxx, Shadow Priests took Xal'atath. Tirisfal Glades is officially certified free of weird whispers.
However, while the quest to re-awaken the keeper did clarify why the C'thraxx was bound there with the Silver Hand, it is unclear how Xal got there. Though it likely has to do with the Cult of Forgotten Shadow. It is also now clear that Xal and the C'thraxx had something to do with Invincible's death, and thus also Arthas' betrayal. Though we still haven't found out exactly what happened there (which means we definitely will be venturing back to Torghast, because I'm going to put money on us needing to talk to Arthas about that night sometime soon).

I fear what is to come in TWW. Not ready to let go of a certain character. But I fear due to some mentions in vids, and footage of opening area; that my fears will be confirmed.
Alot of people i've seen always cast Turalyon as almost a warmonger, almost wanted him to start Civil War within the Alliance. But they forget he was one of the first 5 Paladins. Paladins were created to defend the Alliance, not be their elite troopers. Paladins were created to combat Guldan's DeathKnights, and once they had awakened their holy abilities they did that very well. Since then the Paladins that have followed, with the Blood Knights, and Scarlet Crusade being the exceptions. Paladins at least to me have been more like the Jedi to the Alliance Like the Jedi were to the Republic. Guardians, warriors at times, but most meant to be Guardians of the Peace.
I hope they never take Turalyon to the path of a warmonger. It would ruin the character for me, and I feel would be against his character. Yes he has spent a long time in the Twisting Neather fighting for the Army of the Light, but again that was ever to defend people.
So when Nobble says he has lead the Alliance through one of its more peaceful times, it is not a surprise to me.
It is very strange that we were told outright in 10.0 in the vow eternal that Alleria and Turalyon were happy once again and now they say she has distanced herself from (though it probably means it is something recent due to the new whispers).
And in shadowrising it was also said that they can touch each other again and it is made quite clear they love each other very much.

Trying to look up the referances a bit. Seems like in Shadows rising they make mention of how her void form would brand him, now the touch was a balm and in Vow Eternal they're having a good time at the wedding, but seperate from eachother?
Imagine that's how they'll play into it. As you said more recent due to new whispers. We know her song is way different compared to the others, the void be calling. Maybe she recently, the arathor short story, heard the call/stepped away?
@@Nobbel87 Yep I think the vow eternal was “everything is fine” a calm before the storm, point for the story. They rekindled things, which to me means they were being a happy couple again with all that entails but her song as you say is different, so new whispers that may have caused further issues. I am sure they will acknowledge this in the short story because it clearly implies she is also having issues with Arator, not just Turalyon ( who even if not explicitly said seemed to grow from the same place, where her nightmares/whispers were being too much to handle)

They are all already aware of the world soul in Azeroth, have been since legion im pretty sure, in the pre expac event questlines. So I dont know how they havent realized it, or at least speculated, it may be the soul of Azeroth.

Probably 1 of 2 things is gonna happen. Xal'atath attacks Dalaran on her own volition cuz she knows how important it was in aiding us in defeating the Legion. Or.... Alleria is successful is retrieving the Dark Heart and brings it to Dalaran and thats what leads Xal'atath to attack Dalaran because she wants it back. Also a possibility Xal'atath "gives" Alleria the Dark Heart by being "stupid" making her think she won and took it by force.
I feel like Alleria knows more about the Harbinger than she letting out. It would explain why she asked very little details during her interaction with Khadgar.
I would love a video about Alleria - I know next to nothing about her and I feel she's gonna be important in the future.

Asking why the people don't immediately think it's Azeroth, This is the first time She has actually spoken though correct? Seem to remember Magni describing it as feelings and sensations and such right? So I guess that could be why they don't assume it's Her. Also, not asking Magni might have something to do with his new darkened model?
Because this is the Old God's MO. And after fighting them directly in at least four separate expansions (Wrath, Cata, MoP, BFA), the characters aren't leaving anything to chance. Its highly likely they're thinking its another unknown old god who decided to toss up the playbook a bit.
As for Magni, whenever he spoke to Azeroth in our company, she was scared. Frightened. Blasting emotions and feelings everywhere, and suffering horrific nightmares herself. Which we fight as manifestations. Its quite possible he's never heard Azeroth speaking normally/calmly, so he can't really describe what her calm tone is like.
Plus I think his darkened model means his connection to her as weakened as well.
I'm surprised the video speculation didn't go toward this Alleria that comes before Khadgar being an impostor and actually Xal'atath herself based on the thumbnail. Alleria's voice in the cinematic is overlayed with another's. Some might say that's just the void influence however we don't hear the same overlap in the War Within feature trailer and it may be an oversight be considering how much thought and effort they're putting into the world soul saga I sincerely doubt that's the case. Also I've seen people complaining that this model of Alleria is the old one and not the one expected to be seen based on her War Within keyart. It could just be that she hasn't changed clothes yet or maybe Xal's intel is behind in the times. Very interesting stuff.
Fair idea, though looks changing are always a bit weird in game. You have examples like Jaina who consistently change bit by bit, yet I think in some dragonflight cutscene they show the past aspects with the new models. Then again, that may just be be nitpicking.

At the end of the video when you sed "she's completley difrent" a thought enterd my mind. What if that is not aleria, what if thats xalatath or one of the void lords. Btw have you gone to the dark caves underneth Ogrimar? I found a suprise there with some "horde" members guarding the suprise. Meaning the device that kept the shadowlands and the realm of the living seperate is no longer active. And its no longer needed and tbh its now that the dragon isls expansion is over its now completley irelevant.

That aleria with kadgard isent aleria thats Xalatath. When Nzoth freed xalatath she walked of in a specific way with a certin gesture with her left hand, exactly the same way the aleria with kadgard did in the new video. Also she might not be a void god. Xalatath could be one of Sire Denathrius peopel sins she's just as good at manipulating as Sire Denathrius and his dread lords is. And on the test servers you say the real Aleria wants to hunt down xalatath, she whould want to do that if xalatath inpersonated aleria and took out dalaran and kadgar. Also the voice actor for kadgar is really old at this point so it also makes sense to kill kadgar at this point. And killing kadgar and taking out dalaran will also force ppl to do stuff and that forces peopel to "hunt down" xalatath and others and so on and so on. She's basicly forcing the story to happen, forcing peopel to act on XALATATH's terms as she wants. So right now she's controling everything and we are just along for the ride like a little puppy or kitten.

The stories have gotten so complex that we desperately need addons either from the Dev team or the community so that we can walk through the stories of each character separately. I am sure that with some characters like thrall or jaina you would be able to level some good 20-30 levels just exploring their stories (no boar-killing bullshit).

I always see the whole "them not knowing who it is" to be similar to religion. Example: You go to church every week and some guy up in the front tells you that HE hears God, and God speaks to him and he kind of relates what he hears and knows and learns to those listening to him. So you kind of just take his word for it that God is speaking to him. Similar to Magni, magni was the only one who could hear Azeroth directly and he would translate. But in real life if suddenly you, as a church goer, just woke up hearing a voice in your head, I don't think you'd immediately go "OH ITS GOD SPEAKING TO ME", you'd probably be more like WTF is going on!?!?!?. Not to mention on Azeroth there are a million things that could speak to you, Elementals, Old Gods, the Light even Thrall questions if it's The New World Tree, so them not knowing who it is calling to them could be more them being like who the f knows what could be invading our minds this time around we need to know for sure.
