What is the difference between adzuki beans and red beans? Can I use red beans instead of adzuki beans? ☹️ I couldn't find any adzuki beans in the country I live in. But It looks delicious. I really want to make this.
@@ezgieftekin4495 in my country, we usually find these in organic shops. Try that :) and I don't think there is any difference between red beans and adzuki, it's just that the adzuki variety is originally from Japan. The paste he made is called Anko, it's a typical Japanese desert.

Hello there, I don't remember Ryoya explaining the beet sugar so this is pure assumption on my end here. I suppose he specifies that this sugar comes from beet only because white sugar can be refined using bones, which is not vegan. As for why white sugar and not a heathier type, I'd say it's because it will interfere less with the matcha and keep the green colour. Hope this makes sense :)
