To any normal working class guy, a C6 Corvette really hits that sweet spot. You've got a car that can hang with anything else on the road in both style and performance. It's also surprisingly affordable and reliable as a daily driver. Plus it's a freaking Corvette. Nuff said. Go get one!
I've driven a variety of performance cars, including the R/T, the GT, and the SS, but the C6 Corvette with the LS3 engine is by far my favorite. And I'm comparing a 10 year old Vette to current gen Challengers and Mustangs. You really have to drive one of these to understand how cool they are.
@@twiceonsundays I’ve owned 4 mustangs, a charger, porsche 911, and now looking to humble down from my 911 to a C6.. Can you explain how it must be driven to understand please?
Nice review. I have a 2005 millennium yellow coupe with automatic transmission. I love the car. It always gets lots of attention: the millennium yellow paint really pops! Mine just has 21000 miles on it and looks in mint condition still.
Of all the Corvette generations the C6 definitely might be the best looking in yellow. Hope you enjoy that car for a long long time. Thanks for watching.
Thank you! The C6 Corvette is special. Its the most lightweight modern corvette, its styling is clean, and it is really a reliable performance monster. Hope you are really enjoying your 2007. Thanks for watching!
Great review, I've got a 2009 Z51 car that is a stick and the LT1 interior. I bought it 1.5 yrs ago for $25k with 28k miles. I love how easy the car is to mod it and make it your own. These cars are by far the best bang for the buck that money can buy. Again, loved the review and I'm also a big believer that the C6 is the best that Chevrolet ever made. I've owned several other model years and this is by far my favorite - period!!!
Thank you thank you. It's really really hard to find a better more reliable sports car for less than $30k. Easy to work on, easy to find parts, easy tp customize (as you said), great handling, last generation with hydraulic steering (that means great steering feel with informative feedback), u can road trip it and track it and take it to dinner in the same day with room for all your stuff and never worry about it. It is simply the best. I am with you. Thank you for watching. It means alot. Check out our other Corvette content, and here's a little inside info for you, we are scheduled to film a new C8 review this week. Praying for good weather.
I added about $20k to the base car, a Kenwood touchscreen unit, new amps and speakers a full K40 360 unit with radar and laser jammers in the front and back. A Veraram snake charmer, BTR Stage 3 cam, Texas Speed wrapped long tube headers no cats and a Borla Atak system. A bunch of other odds and ends and the best part is the factory Crystal Red paint. It was a 2008 / 2009 only color and it just steals the show every time i show up. The factory chrome rims are breathtaking. I wanted a car like you say, it's show and go, you can race it during the day and take it to the opera at night. It gets praises everywhere she goes. Keep up the awesome channel and I'll look forward to seeing the C8 soon. Tom
2008 base 3LT. Very fast car, comfortable ride, great mileage IF you can keep your foot out of it ! Still has the correct rear lights, All most cars will see. Love mine !
One of the best reviews ive seen on this car. Comprehensive, informative and concise. Well done, you deserve more than 9 subs, ive subbed as you review really well
Thank you very much. That means alot. Our goal is to help the viewer get as close as they can to experiencing what its like to drive the car short of actually test driving it themselves. You are amongst the first subscribers and we won't forget that.
Thank you and thanks for watching! We absolutely love the C6 as well. You may also like another side channel i have here on youtube called TheVetteingProcess.
08 base Jetstream blue with cashmere and black interior 3lt. I'm 74 and owned 3 c5 zo6s and 2 c6 zo6s but this beauty very well could be my last. I'm the second owner with the first owner being older than me. Saw him trading it in at the local Ford dealer on a Friday and I bought it the following Monday. Can't wait to get it to the track and work it out. No at 74 I'm not your typical cruiser I have a heavy foot lol. Great review about the greatest Corvette in my book.
Thanks! And thanks alot for watching! Sounds like you have a great ride and i hope you enjoy it to the fullest! It's hard to believe we filmed this review nearly 3 years ago. Our videos have come a long way since then. We recently filmed a giant Corvette video where I drove all 8 generations of the Corvette in 1 day! We will be releasing it soon! Thanks again for watching and stay tuned!

My 2008 c6 is amazing. Its likeDr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Can quietly cruise around comfortably, but when you get into the throttle the ls3 comes alive and can quite frankly scare you due to its crazy torque band
So how do you like your 09 Vette? After a year, I bet you've modded it. I've had my 09 3LT Vette for 4 years now, second owner. Since buying it I've only modded a few things like adding a rear wing very similar to what's on the C7. I've replaced the ignition coils, changed our the tail lights and I have a few projects in line.
I purchased a new 2007 C6 Corvette in December of ‘06 after visiting the Corvette assembly plant in Bowling Green , Ky. Atomic Orange Metallic is the color which was only offered in ‘07 & ‘08. In my opinion, it’s the most striking color I’ve ever seen on a Corvette & it get compliments every time someone sees it. In 2023 it has just under 30,000 miles on it. I’ll keep this car forever
That sounds like a good one. Hope you continue to enjoy it. Have you taken it back to the National Corvette Museum and driven it on track there yet? I highly recommend that if able. Thanks for watching!
That sounds like a nice one. I dig the 4lt trim. Thanks for watching! More Corvette content coming very soon! Spoiler, this car makes another appearance in a comparison.
Excellent video. I own a 2012 with 15,000 miles. It still looks brand new. I agree with everything said. The car is a bargain. It is stunning and it is fast.
The search is arduous. Don't give up. Alot of people are holding on to what they got right now. Also, a little secret is to search Corvette clubs by city. Many of them have a "for sale" section on their website. Or if you really want to dig you can contact the club and tell them you are looking for a low mileage C6. They will usually let you know if they know of any. People in Corvette clubs are known for keeping their mileage low. Good luck and thanks for watching! PS. Our all 8 Corvette generations video is out! This C6 makes another appearance! th-cam.com/video/vAdDhC8rhbE/w-d-xo.html
@@liamb1038Corvette Warehouse in Dallas frequently has some low mileage C6's. I just bought an '08 from them with 14,800 miles on it, and they still have an '08 with only 6K miles😮. They aren't bargain basement prices, though, they charge accordingly for low miles.
Exactly the kind of chill video I need while the world goes to hell in a handbasket. Been shopping C6 coupes and Z06s and I think I may finally pull the trigger. Most likely the coupe with manual as they are pretty affordable right now. Enjoyed the video.
Thanks a ton! The C6 is a fantastic buy right now. Get behind the wheel and enjoy some coming warm weather. It's a great way to put away the heaviness of the world for a time and just enjoy a drive. Find some twisty roads if you can. When shopping C6s dont forget to have the harmonic balancer checked during pre purchase inspection. Then go have fun! Thanks for watching!
Finally a reviewer that 'gets it' in terms of the subtle but sensuous nature of the exterior design compared to earlier and later, more angular designs. You might have mentioned that it's the lightest and shortest base model of all the modern Corvettes. Destined to be a classic like the C2's (in my book).
Agreed. And i can't remember which is lighter, the C6 Base or the C5 FRC from 1999-2000. Either way, yes, i love how light on its feet the C6 is. I also love that the design is not busy. By far the best feature of the C6 is the round tail lights. That said it is an excellent value. They have one of the best climate control systems I've had, the AC is ICE cold. Even with the LS2, with a few bolt ons, you're running 450 easy. Also has excellent visibility all around. Has plenty of room for luggage, golf bags, or whatever you're carrying. Plenty fast & very reliable while still getting near 25mpg on long runs. What more do ya want? Besides a C8. One final comment- replace the run flats or Goodyear with Michelin Pilots. One more comment- if you decide to replace the stock stereo system, you'll lose all the warning chimes.
Good info. Thanks for watching. We talk more about the C6 with high praise in our recent release of our biggest video so far. We drove all 8 generations of the Corvette in 1 day! You may like it.... th-cam.com/video/vAdDhC8rhbE/w-d-xo.html
Nice job! I've got an 08 C6 3LT 6SPD manual with the NPP exhaust and M2W switch, black with black wheels. I've got the DVD/CD/NAV and you're right it is dated, but something tells me the original equipment will be more desirable than an upgraded stereo in the future. Again nice job man, this car is definitely the best bang for your buck!
Thank you. Sounds like a slick ride. If you want to keep the stock radio unit I recommend this... www.amazon.com/USA-Spec-BT45-VETTE-Bluetooth-Capabilities/dp/B072F4LDZW/ref=asc_df_B072F4LDZW/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312068849209&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=6956315371471217852&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9023159&hvtargid=pla-761435647352&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=67623312452&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=312068849209&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=6956315371471217852&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9023159&hvtargid=pla-761435647352 It hooks up where your satellite radio hook up is. @@DriveItOut Goodyear eagle run flat.. factory stock...harmonic balancer just started chirping today. 42100 on the clock. 3 yr. Extended warranty was a good purchase!!
Hmmm, harmonic balancer is usually more of a problem on 05-07s. Anyway, once thats fixed you should be set for a very long time. Those run flats last quite a while (I've run them), but if you ever get to get away from the run flats and get some softer tires it will really come alive. Enjoy!
@@DriveItOut maybe it's a pulley or something else..but it's chirping. But only when moving..it's quiet at idle. It's going to the Chevy dealer I bought it at shortly. I'll keep ya posted.
Its now 2023. I bought my C6(2006) 6-speed manual about 5 years ago. I do not like automatics in sport cars. I LOVE IT. Candy Apple Red convertible/tan interior. I put the performance exhaust on it about two years ago. It now has 39K miles. Nothing drives like a Corvette. All the bells and whistles except the back-up camera. Im thinking about adding this feature. I can sell it now for more than I gave for it five years ago. I know I'm prejudiced but it has the best body style of all the Corvettes. Dont get me wrong I love all Corvettes. As a matter of fact I want another one to go with this one. Maybe a 2018. For the money, I highly recommend The C6 series. Thank you for reading this. Tim Y
Enjoy that car. Thanks for watching. I think our 8 generation Corvette review is definitely something you would enjoy watching! th-cam.com/video/vAdDhC8rhbE/w-d-xo.html
Wow great vid. I just bought a 2005 c6 looking forward to enjoying it... Had a rad test drive. You are right about the stereo I'm going to replace it immediately and add some boom 💥💥💥
Nice work! Enjoy that car and send us a pic on social media of how much better the stereo looks after you replace it. More Corvette content coming very soon! We are actually filming this weekend. Thanks for watching!
Just subscribed, big props for doing a great job on a car review. For me there are too many reviewers that try to be funny every 5 seconds, cocky or just plain creepy. Thanks for being down to earth, knowledgeable and cool. Looking forward to future videos. The only few things that I would of liked to hear mentioned is some detailed performance data like reported average 0-60, 1/4 mile times. trap / top speed etc and maybe some comparisons with other year models and / or other comparable cars -I have a silver 98 Trans Am / tops all original with the LS1 -I think the Vette and T/A are the best looking and performance cars for the buck. The LS1 in stock form is still a beast and one of the most reliable motors. I'm the second owner (bought it from a lady here in Vegas) for $5100 back in 2014 -The only thing I have done is added a custom sound system. T/ A's are getting harder to find especially in like new condition. Going back to the Vette subject I'm really shocked I have not seen one c8 here in Vegas and I drive all over the city. I know they are rare and many are being sold for like 30-40k $$$ over sticker price. I"m keeping my eye out for a good deal on a c6 vert. I love the blueish / teal color
Thank you! We are trying to get better with each review. Our in depth look at the new boxster should be coming out this week. You will definitely see improvements in shoot quality with it. We love the C6. It's so much car for the money. And you can't go wrong with the LS motors. They are hard to beat. I like your TA. Those are clean. I miss my 98 Z28 with the LS1. Wish you luck finding a nice C6. Go 2008 or newer if you can. That way you get the LS3 and there is less worry about replacing the harmonic balancer. But all C6s are sweet. Once you are in something that much more lite and nimble like the C6 you will be quite happy i know. Maybe head outside of town a bit and find you some twisty roads and enjoy. Thanks again for watching and the sub!
@@DriveItOutI will definitely stay tuned in to your channel -hell you are already a natural. I'm a die hard car guy, but never made any videos. I"m sure I would be overthinking everything LOL , recently I had heard some of the Z06 's had some valvetrain issues and some with serious problems. I"m not sure what years. I haven't had time to google and check it out. Are you familiar with the problem the Z06's had ?
Thanks. So the C6 Zo6 had an issue with the valves dropping and frying engines. Supposedly this was a manufacturing defect that effected a small number of total cars, but its enough of a concern that common thought is to have this problem fixed when u own any C6 Zo6 as a preventative measure. Supposedly its around $1500-$2000 for the fix. This is very much like the infamous "IMS Bearing" issue that effects Porches from the early 2000s. It only fails on a small number of vehicles, but because it is so catastrophic if there is a fail most everyone replaces the IMS Bearing as a preventive measure. So it is definitely something to think about if you end up with a C6 Zo6. Here is a good video for info on that issue..... th-cam.com/video/AuusQ6V8aiE/w-d-xo.html
My understanding is GM just says it didn't affect enough cars to warrant a recall. Something like that happens 20 years ago to a handful of cars and you may never even hear about it, but with the prevalence of the internet and social media today news can travel so fast that before you know it a small problem can seem huge. So the problem with that LS7 may in fact be pretty rare, but it spooked people enough that everyone recommends the preventative fix. Otherwise they think your engine may just be living on a prayer. This is exactly what happened with the Porsche IMS Bearing. Once a few engines eat themselves the pictures are really ugly and they start making their way around all the forums and eventually everyone fears it could happen to them. Both the LS7 valve issue and the Porsche IMS Bearing issue are around $1500 to fix. So people buying both these cars used just plan on doing that work after they purchase the car. After that, both the Zo6 and mid 2000s Porches are extremely reliable. Doing the fix just helps you drive with piece of mind without worry of losing an engine. This can also mean there are really good deals to be found on these cars. I just wish you could take the top off of a C6 Zo6, but the roof is fixed.
If anybody is looking to get a C6, definitely get a 08+ with a manual. Not bashing the auto, I have an auto c4, but I think that's the best drivers experience for this generation. I have a black 2011 manual. Great video BTW.

He is right, this car is not for everyone. You can not take more than one person for a ride. And that is one of the main reasons I got this car. I like that he did his video with the red car. It looks exactly like my car. I daily drive my car. I baby it. Love the fact that it has plenty of power when I need it. Ill never race it but its fast enough for when I want it to be. Fun to drive.

Good video! I own a 2009 3LT, it'll be the last sportscar I buy. I have plans of adding a supercharger to it to make that grin a little bigger when I step on the gas. I also plan on adding carbon fiber to the interior but finding real carbon fiber for a C6 isn't as easy as one would think. My next project is to install a carbon fiber front wing to compliment the CF rear wing. The possibilities are endless with a Corvette. The aftermarket for Corvettes is thriving.
Just bought a 08 Yellow. I like the fact it is basically plain (unlike the C7). The other thing (especially Yellow) the front looks much like a Ferrari 360, surprised GM was not sued for coping the headlight design.
The headlights are definitely similar in design. I think the headlights are a product of the time with their HID bulb technology needing to also be aerodynamic. LED light lines weren't really happening yet. I like to imagine the C6 with pop up headlights. I think that would have been cool. Thanks for watching and for the input. Enjoy that car! I like them in yellow.
My 2012 gti was totaled. Was really upset because of all of the parts I had put into it. But I got approved for a loan for one of these and I am very excited to get one of these. That German egg was eating my savings anyways.
Here's to new beginnings! Enjoy that new Vette of yours! Have great driving adventures with it! A car is only as good as the experiences you have with it. Thanks for watching!

I am looking to buy a C6 in the near future. I think I want an automatic, ls3, targa top, maybe a bolt on car if it has not been beat on. My budget is 30k but I’m flexible.
You'll find one. Especially since you are going with an automatic. They don't bring quite the premium the manuals do. Most people know the automatic transmission got better in 2008 at the same time they switched to the LS3, but if i remember right they tuned the automatic to be even better in 2012. Happy shopping! i think the c8 is hitting the supercar territory,, frigging thing looks like a ferrari, mid engine.. the zr1 of that model will be supercar level for sure. . I kind of like the older corvettes like yours.. They actually look like corvettes.... think the c6 generation looks great..
As just one example, in the last month I was driving my Crystal Red 2008 in traffic and I literally had someone roll their window down and shout 'MAN that's a beautiful car!' Is there ANY other 12 y.o. car that still has this panache?!
The smooth lines help it age well. Simple = beautiful long-term. This is why cars with too many lines look out of date sooner. Enjoy that car! Thanks for watching!
I have a silver 98 Trans Am / T-tops and it's 22 years old / has the original LS1 -same motor/ tranny as the Vette -both cars too me have stood the test of time as the 2 best in looks and performance
I have the same year and color. Have it 9 years and no issues. It's amazing how many people compliment it. Hard to believe for a car that would sell now for about 25k. Why spend more than double on a new Vette when this one will depreciate slower and depreciate from a lower dollar amount. In 9 years my cars value went from 36k to 25 or so. That's only 10k depreciation in 9 years. Buy a new one for 70 and in 10 years with low milage it's in the 35 range
It's a beautiful car. This one gets lots of compliments as well. Such a joy to drive. Glad you enjoy yours. There is so much bang for your buck in that car. How many miles would you say you put on your car annually? Just curious. Thanks for watching!
Great review ! In about 4 years when i get close to retirement I’ll be looking for a 2012-2013 C6 Grand Sport or a similar years Cadillac CTS-V both with manual transmission. The CTS-V has the 6.2L Supercharged engine from the ZR1, knocked down to about 550 hp. Overall looking forward to making that decision! Any comments on my 2choices ?
You can't go wrong with either of those choices. We like both, but a personal preference from me would be to go for the Grand Sport. The GS is the sweet spot for Corvettes. It has all the great handling hardware you can get while having the perfect amount of power for the street. The wide track of the GS puts the power to the ground in a special way. The Cadillac is more powerful but it is larger and heavier. So, the corvette is going to be alot more nimble. It depends on your driving plans though too. If you spend most of your time on the wide open interstate the cts-v maybe the play, but if you plan to enjoy twiaty roads or even a track experience then the GS is unbeatable. Regardless of what you choose enjoy treating yourself. Drive both before you choose. Thanks for watching! Means alot!
DriveItOut thanks so much for the detailed response !! So much to go on. I’ll definitely test drive both ! Won’t be tracking. I already have a four-door sedan, a 2013 Lexus ES 350 with now only 39K miles and that’s a keeper for 10+ years so more than likely it will be the Corvette grand sport because I really don’t need another four seater. I plan on keeping both
You bet! Sounds fantastic. The 2012 & 2013 Grand Sport is impressive. They upgraded the seats and steering wheel. It was a great improvement over the 2010 and 2011 GS. Enjoy!
@@DriveItOut just re-watched this a year later and times have changed. For the past few months I was saving up for a C5 and now I’m thinking C6. Much improved over the C5 especially the interior. the C6 grand sport is way out of reach price wise considering what has happened with used car prices. A 2012-13 grand sport is probably closer to $40k today. Love the lines of the C5 but the interior is definitely worse than the C6. Next September I’ll be ready for a 2008 Base C6 non-Z 51 manual. Low mileage 1 or 2 owner (preferably 1 owner).

True that.. We were specifically referring to the base model. There was a FRC option on the base model C5 that was taken away for the base model C6. We should have been more clear. Thanks for watching and for the input. Much appreciated.
Yes. The LS2 is a bargain as well, for sure, but the LS3 is the real steal. The LS3 is arguably the greatest V8 ever made and is historic. I think its longevity, adaptability, and parts availability will stand the test of time for longer than I'll be alive. It's truly everything GM learned with LS1 & LS2 perfected. A 2008-2013 Vette is an amazing way to get an LS3 in a lighterweight platform, built for speed and handling, all while being incredibly aerodynamic and fuel efficient. I think they will be a bargain for another 10 years, and then they will start to go up as everyone realizes they are amazing classics that are easy to live with and require little maintenance. This was one of our very 1st videos and we've come a long way. I miss this car. We put it on camera again when we drove All 8 Generations of the Corvette in 1 Day! See what you think of that video. @DriveItOut awesome background on your personal history with the C6! I just picked up my first. It's definitely my favorite bodystyle as it's the one I saw as a kid. Mine is a 2006, 6AT (which i wanted), has 60k miles 1 owner, 100% stock. 3lt package, it has everything. Black with black leather. Local car and i paid $19,999. I could have got an ls3 but it would have been at the least $5k more for what was a budget car. I think this is a very huge bang for your buck with this purchase. My only plans for mods are paddle shifters (ordered), a cold air intake, muffler delete, and a tune for the engine/trans. I've got a 1998 z28 t56 fully built race car, so the corvette will just be a cruiser.
Awesome! I have lots of time in an 06 Black on Black Vette Convertible Auto. Many great memories. I've also been through 3 Camaros, including a 98 Z28 with the T56. That was black on black as well. Sounds like we've had similar tendencies. I'm excited for your time in your new ride. What part of the country are you in? You get good weather?
Thats a stellar ride. The grand sport is the sweet spot for sure. It's so well balanced as a car for both street and track. Absolutely dig the C7 Grand Soort. And, nice choice on the manual. Thanks for watching!
$35,000 is too high. Especially for an Automatic. $30,000 is more like it. Prices are out of control right now. And Spring time is when they are highest as well. Good luck! Don't be afraid to keep shopping and dont be afraid travel for a good deal if you are able. Let us know if you land one. They are great cars.
It is my understanding that HUD only comes on the 3LT and 4LT models. 1LT and 2LT do not have it. HUD is a fantastic option if you can swing it, but i wouldn't pass up a great deal on a 1LT or 2LT just because they don't have the HUD. If you are going to track the car then you may want to seriously consider only cars with HUD seeing as it is very handy in those situations. Thanks for watching!
True that. We were specifically referring to the base model. There was a fixed roof version of the C5 with a short back window and traditional trunk before the zo6 debuted in 01. We should have been more specific. Thanks for watching and we always love feedback.
Purchased my C6 in 2005 now I am going through the ECBM Nightmare to stop " Service Active Handling." 31 trips to the dealer since I took delivery on the same issue now the dealer won't help as GM no longer makes the ECBM. I have to find someone to get to it to take it out, send it out to be re- soldered then reinstall it. And GM wants me to buy a new ERAY? No thanks.
The 1st year C6's definitely had the most quirks. Same for the 1st year of any generation. You may want to put a call into C&S Corvettes. youtube.com/@cscorvetteify Hope it works out for you. The C6 is a great car that has been incredibly reliable overall. That reliability increases as you go from 2005-2013 as well. Thanks for watching! To any normal working class guy, a C6 Corvette really hits that sweet spot. You've got a car that can hang with anything else on the road in both style and performance. It's also surprisingly affordable and reliable as a daily driver. Plus it's a freaking Corvette. Nuff said. Go get one!
C6 Corvette is definitely the sweet spot. So much car for the money. Thanks a ton for watching! More Corvette content coming very soon!

@@justinremschneider9614 Congrats bro! Enjoy the Vette!👊
Ill be back, Goodbye Wrangler.
I love my 2008 C6...most fun car to drive I’ve ever owned...and I’ve had quite a few in my 70+ years!
Thats fantastic. The C6 is almost unbeatable for the money. Lots of smiles per gallon. Thanks for watching.

Mine just has 21000 miles on it and looks in
mint condition still.
Of all the Corvette generations the C6 definitely might be the best looking in yellow. Hope you enjoy that car for a long long time. Thanks for watching.
Just bought my 2007 in September. It’s my 2nd Vette. I’m hooked now! Cool video man
Tom
Sounds like a blast! Right on

Stellar! We really hope you enjoy it! We hope this video gave you a little taste of what it will be like living with a C6 on a daily basis.

Where do you find c6’s with low miles ? 🥺

Sorry to here about the C3. Hope you love that C6! Thanks a ton for watching!
Nice job! I've got an 08 C6 3LT 6SPD manual with the NPP exhaust and M2W switch, black with black wheels. I’m absolutely obsessed with corvettes got C4&C6 C7 is next Vette country around here
Its now 2023. Tim Y

@@DriveItOut oh wow that's crazy frying the engines. You mean this wasn't a recall that GM paid for?
Yes, good call. Enjoy both those vettes!

Nicely done! I miss this car greatly. Thanks for watching! I hope you are putting lots of fun miles on yours!
The Best Corvette style ever built
2:58 - Corvette, a perfect silhouette.
Really great video! I’m looking to get one of these soon!
Awesome! We don't think you will be disappointed. Thanks for watching!
I think pushrod technology is newer than over head cam believe it or not. Far superior in my opinion
Still one of the best looking Corvettes, with a true analog, non-Buck Rogers gauge package. Definitely does NOT look like it was designed by someone who was obsessed with Transformers when he was a 6 year old kid.
I'm a huge C6 fan for sure. Thanks for watching!

It's hard to beat the C6!
Excellent review! I looking for a manual 2008 C6.
Thank you. The one that is just right for you is out there. Hope you find it and enjoy it. If you get it you may be interested in another channel i have on the side called TheVetteingProcess. Excellent Review, thank you!
Thank you, means alot.. And thanks for warching!
Great video man!
Thank you and thanks for watching! We hope to have more Corvette content soon.
i think the c8 is hitting the supercar territory,, frigging thing looks like a ferrari, mid engine.. the zr1 of that model will be supercar level for sure. . I kind of like the older corvettes like yours.. They actually look like corvettes.... think the c6 generation looks great..
As just one example, in the last month I was driving my Crystal Red 2008 in traffic and I literally had someone roll their window down and shout 'MAN that's a beautiful car!'
Is there ANY other 12 y.o. car that still has this panache?!
Great review ! thank you ! can you please do the C7 corvette ?
thank you !
Thanks! We hope to do a C7 soon. We will soon be releasing a C5 video. We are big corvette fans. Thanks for watching!
Picking one up in may can’t wait
Enjoy! Thanks for watching!
@@DriveItOut thank you
Great review !
Enjoy!
DriveItOut yes that’s why I’ll be looking at the ‘12 & ‘ 13 model years !! Awesome. Thanks !!
Just got one - 2008 Indy 500 pace car replica #203/500 6 speed manual 🎉
Love it! Thats a great car! One of my personal favorite pace cars. Really hope you enjoy it.

Great review feller
Thank you and thanks for watching! More Corvette content coming soon.
Nice Video , Good job . I’ll take One ! Thank You .
Thanks! They are so much fun for the money! Thanks for watching!
Very nice review, well done
Thank you and thanks for watching!
I have a C5, C6 C7 and I going to buy a C8, remember a vette is always a vette
Agreed. Just hope they bring back the Manual Transmission. Thanks for watching!
Good review but Just FYI they didn’t take away the fixed roof coupe option in the C6 it’s called the Z06 and ZR1
True that.. We were specifically referring to the base model. There was a FRC option on the base model C5 that was taken away for the base model C6. We should have been more clear. Thanks for watching and for the input. Much appreciated.
Great job brother
Thank you and thanks for watching!
“all the nannies are on” 😂
Well done video! 👌🏼
Thank you. We like the feedback. More reviews coming soon and Corvettes are on the short list.
What is that hip music you got jammin ? I like it.
Lol. It's music from youtube's music library. They've got some pretty good stuff. Thanks for watching!
4 year checkup.. is it still a bargain? Even an ls2 c6?
I hope you like it. We go into detail on C6 again as well as the other generations as well. Here's the link.....

Thanks for watching our vids. Truly means alot.
Is C6 your favorite Vette?
My Father is gifting me one... only 53, 000 miles🎉🎉🎉
Great overview!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Bought a new C7 Grand Sport with a Manual Transmission, and it’s amazing!
Thats a stellar ride. The grand sport is the sweet spot for sure. It's so well balanced as a car for both street and track. Absolutely dig the C7 Grand Soort. And, nice choice on the manual. Thanks for watching!
Nice review. Thx.
Thanks for watching!
great review thinking of buying a 2012 vette lt2 they want 35000 it has 16000 miles i offered 30000 you think thats fair mint shape?
Manual Transmission or Automatic?
auto has tan black interior ls3
@@DriveItOut auto has black tan interior mint shape
$35,000 is too high. Especially for an Automatic.
$30,000 is more like it.
Prices are out of control right now. And Spring time is when they are highest as well. Good luck! Don't be afraid to keep shopping and dont be afraid travel for a good deal if you are able. Let us know if you land one. They are great cars.
@@DriveItOut i had a 2000 milly yellow c5 miss her i will let you no on monday
Great vid
Thank you and thanks for watching.
Wife would never let me get a corvette so I got the SS and didn’t tell her about the ls3 lol
I got a divorce and a 13 GS in the same month. 😃
Do all LT models have the heads up display or is it only the 3lt?
It is my understanding that HUD only comes on the 3LT and 4LT models. 1LT and 2LT do not have it.
HUD is a fantastic option if you can swing it, but i wouldn't pass up a great deal on a 1LT or 2LT just because they don't have the HUD. If you are going to track the car then you may want to seriously consider only cars with HUD seeing as it is very handy in those situations. Thanks for watching!
Good review..
Thank you! This car also appears in our 8 Generation Corvette review....

Thanks again for watching!
Great job, very detailed.
Thank you! And, thanks for watching!
i want 2008 red or blue in market for the right price and automatic because i drive with one arm .
We hope you find an awesome one that you really enjoy! They are great cars. So much performance for the money. Thanks for watching!
mine will keep the hardtop on at all times it will never be removed
Curious, why?
And just FYI they technically did have a hardtop only version of the C6 it’s the Z06

Hope it works out for you.
The C6 is a great car that has been incredibly reliable overall. That reliability increases as you go from 2005-2013 as well.
