No, mine was a rogue, so I have no reason to. And "not in Kirkwall" was a reply to "no one special caught your interest?" . It was him hinting that he was falling for the Inquisitor. When asked if he left anyone behind, he simply said no, and that he didn't have friends or family there. So no, it wasn't a throwback to the Warden (or the mage origin).

For example, if you didn't play a dwarf, there's a reference to an exiled Aeducan (dwarf noble sibling of Bhelen and Trian) and there's a dead body (Brosca; dwarf commoner origin) in Jarvia's hideout that Leske (their best friend) talks about. So I believe Cullen's comment is more than likely it's a direct reference to the female Circle mage.

Cullen was the first romance I chose in Inquisition. Even my warden flirted with him to make him uncomfortable. But nothing compares to the Solas romance. Tops even Morrrigan imo. ❤

It's all about whether or not Dorian has been officially recruited. If you chose the templar route and don't go talk to Dorian in Skyhold to officially welcome him to the Inquisition, Leliana will play. If, after siding with the templars, you DO talk to Dorian at Skyhold and recruit him, Dorian will play with Cullen. So, it isn't so much a templars vs. mages thing. Just more about going to say hi to Dorian to get him onboard with the crew!
I stg face customization in DAI requires a degree in design to make them any sort of decent-looking. It doesn't help that the base faces they give you to work with all look slightly wonky somehow.

I think if you choose to take the mountain path to the rift rather than a charge with the soldiers, you don't meet Cullen until Haven. I started the game and took the path and don't remember ever seeing the first scene with Cullen, then when I restarted and chose the charge, I got it. Hopefully I'm remembering correctly
I think it's due to the mods. The save file is version 12... To get the save file to work you need to make sure every DAI mod I linked (mega link) in the description is installed and the frosty mod hair texture I linked in the description is installed through frosty mod manager. Also worth noting the save file requires all dlcs installed

Curly and a female Lavellan is one of the best pairings in Inquisition. Their romance story is just too good to pass on.
