MJ Holding has never stocked the shelves, they sell the cards or rent the shelf space from Walmart for the cards,among other items. They hire a 3rd party company to actually go to the stores to stock them. A couple of years ago they switched from long time partner Anderson's to Premium Retail,who has been doing a horrible job at a lot of stores. Dude you never have the AMAZING information you think you have.

@claywinn32 well in ohio it was most definitely a guy in an MJ holdings shirt. I have a pic because the boxes were supposed to be tapped when they brought them out. Well this jerk was opening somehow b4 in the back, taking them out and selling after stock to a local guy. The thing that got me was they didn't care. Also what was the point of the stock photo after putting them out if it didn't have to have all the product they shipped on it!!
The biggest issue you have in your area is the Jabs brothers clean out a lot of the inventory at all of the Walmart, Target, Walgreens, etc. If you live in the Pittsburgh area, good luck getting retail product before Jabs Family snags it.
I worked at a Walmart and the biggest thing is theft. We would find discarded boxes and packs in bathrooms, behind merch, etc. A lot of Walmarts are losing more card product than they are selling. Most stores are understaffed and nobody even man’s the camera footage. We even had people walk in, grab an arm full of boxes and just walk out.
First of all, I see you are probably from middle Georgia. I myself am from Fitzgerald, but now work as a teacher in Paulding County. I automatically subscribed to you and looking forward to watching your content. Second, at least in the Cobb/Paulding County area, there are TONS of product on the shelves. If find it all interesting how some areas, especially in Georgia, are blessed beyond measure, and some areas are completely bare. We’ll see what happens.
Third party vendors have been ripping off Walmart customers for awhile now. Especially at my local Walmart. They haven’t stocked donruss optic football yet. Just what they intend to buy.
The change 2 years ago was MJ Holdings not stocking their own products, they were having another company stocking the card's because MJ Holdings employees couldn't keep up with card stocks without getting a bunch of overtime. I know the MJ vendor, I know the new company vendor, the new company had trouble keeping employees and my vendor started with 2 stores and now has 5 because of the problem of keeping help. I'm hoping to see my vendor so I can find out what's going on and when changes go into effect. I'll keep updated

SAS Retail Services is one of five Walmart Preferred Service Providers (FYI, MJ Holdings is not one of these). These companies handle a ton of the display and stocking throughout Walmart stores. This could lead to better stocking of shelves, or at least more consistent stocking througout the network. Some stores that do not see much in cards (like the 3 Walmarts my area) should start to see at least some stocking of cards. While the timing is not great, long term, it should improve seeing stocking. My guess, since a bunch of stocking of shelves happens overnight, you will likely see more card stocking overnight and would want to hit stores early in the AM after they open (prue speculation).
Thank god. Mj holdings has been back dooring retail products that’s why there’s never any on shelves. There’s videos of them literally taking cases out to their cars instead of on shelves. Then threatening to “hit” the person recording them
A Walmart employee was stocking my Walmart too. I just hope this new company really gives a s*** about the hobby and keeps the shelves stocked with more baseball (even all the other sports). I see “Pokémon” type cards taking over the card area. Soto for Yankees

I thought Premium stocked Walmart 🤔 before them it was Anderson. MJ holdings only buys the cards from the manufacturers and the shelf space. Maybe the new company will stock there own shelves and pass the savings to us… doubt it
In Phoenix, AZ MJ Holdings stocks our walmart every Wednesday am this past year. You had to bet there within about 2 hours of restock or you were SOL. Target seems to keep things in stock longer after restock. I assume that's a result of my Wal-Mart having way more theft of sports cards than my Target does. There is only room for improvement imo, some stores near me don't even get stocked at all... so I'm optimistic!
Ordered from Lids on line....took 31 days to get them with free shipping....Order from Target on line and it only took 5 days with free shipping! Lids is terrible! Won't buy from then again!
In my town Salem OR every walmart & target stop carrying sport's cards 2 year's ago. Now it's wallgreens that gets odd sport's cards of low-end type no one wants. 2 shops also closed, so it's driving to other towns or eBay.
Walmart and others treat cards like the redheaded stepchild they have to have around that gets the attic room! Except the attic here is half a disheveled aisle at the end register that only opens on black Friday! 😂
I don't know who was restocking during 2017 to 2020, but I never found sport card boxes. In Target or Walmart. If it was MJ Holdings selling it directly to breakers, then it's on them
It's already happened in the Walmarts near me, a few months ago. They just stopped selling cards altogether. It's weird to me that you all can buy cards at Walmart. There are plenty of Best Buys and Targets that have cards, but Walmart is done for now.
Now I know the reason they cut their Sports Cards aisle in half and bought in a rack or 2 of candy. Change sounds good especially after reading the Professor below
I live in Ontario and I ran into the card guy at Wal-Mart and he told me for the latest (way overpriced) hockey set that they aren't scheduled to stock it and that they were potentially pulling it off the shelf at some locations. If it's distribution, it's probably because they can sell the product to hobby shops for more than the retail Wal-Mart price, but the employee could have also been lying to cover himself for the reason why the product isn't showing up. I was also told me that at Shoppers Drug Mart (not sure if there's any in the States, but they have a small card section) is a franchise company (which is usually owned by the pharmacist) and if they know the market and what they have, the product won't even hit the shelf. Which is apparently likely. I can't come to any definite conclusions from what I've been told but I'm fairly certain that the process is heavily manipulated somewhere along the chain whenever there's a really 'Hot' product. Either the person stocking is helping send it out the back door, or distribution holds back product when they can overcharge the hobby shops.

Its about freaking time. They cant be worse than the crooks in my area. I've been asking Walmart & Target managers why there are never any of the new products. At all. They font know or care. All they have been stocking is old crap. 2021 & 2022 products for months. MJ Holdings stocks both Target & Walmart in my area. So idk why people are saying they dont restock. They do. Ive seen them stock and asked them personally many times. Ive asked where are the new products? They never have a good answer and are extremely rude. Especially this one man. He wont stock anything in front of you & he wont tell you whats in the boxes. He says come back in an hour & walks away from you. Extremely shady and are making backdoor deals. Every new hot product is sold right out the back door. I hope things change soon. Its become a joke.

I don’t mind paying a few bucks more for the product to always be there. The last thing I want is to drive all over town to not find anything. And Walmart in target here that’s the case.
I believe that's better giving everyone a chance at finding product not just the stocker chaser's that find all the good Products now maybe the Real Collectors will be able to Collect again!!!!!!!!!
I’ve been telling you for weeks that retail is having drastic changes. Pretty soon retail in Hobby Shops and MLB affiliated stores only. Good move by Fanatics. More people to hobby shops and Lids. Retail doesn’t need to be in grocery stores that has very few eyes knowing it’s there. My LCS also got a email Friday from Topps saying he can have as much retail as he wants starting June 1st.
My Walmart where great in 2022 since July 2023 both my Walmarts have not gotten stocked in almost 8/9 months. Target is more consistent but I will buy my retail formats from the LCS

MJ has never stocked, they just ship the boxes. Anderson stocked for years until 18 months ago when Premium took over.

We stock the shelves at my Walmart and have for 3 or 4 wks now but we still have 5 or 6 boxes left that haven't been opened yet
