Regarding upgrading your backpack: this way works great: you can put all your backpack contents into a chest then you won't loose anything when you upgrade your backpack.
Just a heads up, make your manufacturing area huge. You can go up to 4 crushers and 4 smelters per drill. Takes a ton of space. Automation by automation 5 is amazing. Get rdy for carts! Youll need them more than an elevator to get around. Need so much space love the game.
Someone mentioned above that you don’t use a backpack. It adds more inventory space. You build it using your upgrade station which is the same beginning station used for making the pick and axe.
It would be awesome if you built a dwarven keep.. Above the base area.. Not sure if the content for that is available. You could have your vault in the basement, above the workshop.. Might help the elevator use. Shorter trips, rather than a mile long run.. Possibly an elevator room, one for each floor.. 💚💚
(Yes! Today is the day! Toggles are cool but *THEY ADDED TAKE ALL! YAY!* ) I say we call this Dwarven *Industry!* I (my dwarven inner self is not happy but) respect your decision why you moved up not down. Compromise: Dig way down elsewhere starting and build up later to expand? -27 M? So darn high up! (What was done earlier in prior game playthroughs, but hey, it's your game not mine!) 9:00 Empathize with the layout you have to build the perimeter first, then the interior stuff/stairs or their will be gaps/misaligned. Still, well done! Aye, sell dwarven goods over construction parts at this point! Goods are your profit makers! [Game does expect you sell the 200 coper plates after the quest though.]. 25:45 can now mine blue rock, get stone!
I forget if it's Enshrouded (I think it is) or Satisfactory (or both) but would be nice if, when you place a block it would remove the underlying material, so when you remove the block the material is gone. It really makes terraforming much easier.
grand staircase Dwarven Style = go 4 wide on the stairs to maintain Symmetry with the flanking side stairs 2 wide. the surface access point should enter into what amounts to a Grand Hall with Marketplaces and other Decor to welcome visitors. down a flight into the Habitat/living areas. primary production next level down with enough storage to hoard up everything with a well constructed Vault to hold the Gold! everything below that is Mine with locations set aside for local production and refining.
Did you just get in the way of them shooting the goblin that you looted last? I didn't notice the goblin until you looted the corpse and was like "where did that come from?"
Your torrents were shooting the goblin and you were in the way of fire. The turrents wont shoot you but u will take damage from them if your in the line of fire while there shooting at enemies
Kage, referencing the backpack and you taking it off by accident. Have you, since equiping it, ever taken off your miining helmet on purpose or accident??? It's in the same slots so I can't see a time when you will accidentally remove the backpack. Love the playthrough as well Kage!
Developers ought take this game, add dungeon keeper style (or evil dungeons, what ever those games are named), and NSFW features.... just sayin. (Mods can work too...)
There is no reason to have both the draven axe and mace. The mace has more damage. Dont take a space in your hot bar for the axe and just use the mace.
Don't understand why you don't use a backpack. You should not interact with that at all unless you are upgrading. Can you explain why you removed it first?
He removed it because of a glitch that killed half of his inventory when he accidently took it off, while carrying some goods. not realizing they would disappear as soon as he did, and not return. He doesn't want to repeat it. And doesn't trust he won't do it again by mistake, or that it won't glitch out. It was a few episodes ago. You'd have to have been there.
@@TrueSighted I was there. But now he knows and honestly don't see how you can do it again because it is placed a bit away from the inventory. Should not really be interacting with it unless you want to.
@@TrueSighted He didn't "accidentally" take it off, he purposely took it off. He accidentally lost the inventory items. The point vich was making is that it's in a bar off to the side of the inventory. Where if you're not screwing with it while talking about it, you are unlikely to interact with it. It's like the miner's helmet, he hasn't accidentally took that off... So why would the backpack be any different?
A goblin spawned in behind you and the turrets shot him.
The turrets were shooting the goblin and you were in the way
So would that be "friendly fire" or "danger close"?
Never get between your turret and its goblin.
And the damage wasn't from the turrets, it was the goblin stabbing you in the backside.

You should build a castle on the surface
Another great video! A proper dwarf problem, not enough room for your hoarded gold! 😆
When you cleared that base I would suggest you check for chests there is some awesome loot in them
You should build elevator from upper floor to go down floor where mining operation is as it is often shown in the movies. Will look amazing
Don't forget you can at the upgrade station make yourself a larger backpack. Giving u more slots.
With all that gold now all you need is a dragon
Reminds me of ducktales love that cartoon that was my Saturdays when i was younger

It’s cool watching you slowly become a Tolkien Dwarf stereotype. lol.
Cage don't forget to put a miner on the Tree Root for Automated Wood
They just didn't like that look in your eye Kage. lol You reminded them of their uncle. they really didn't like him. lol

Thats enshrouded / eden crafters. Satisfactory does not have voxel deformation for terrain.

6 wide is even grander...
When you upgrade your backpack u dont loose anything in your backpack it just gives you more slots.
Did you just get in the way of them shooting the goblin that you looted last? I didn't notice the goblin until you looted the corpse and was like "where did that come from?"
Enemy spawned behind you.
Just like they try shooting through walls, they try shooting through you.
yea the little goblin you looted @29:50 is what they killed he wasnt the boss you killed earlier.
Would be cool if the game would provide a dragon to protect your gold that would grow as your hoard of gold grew.
Your torrents were shooting the goblin and you were in the way of fire. The turrents wont shoot you but u will take damage from them if your in the line of fire while there shooting at enemies

This is exactly what I've been saying.
Developers ought take this game, add dungeon keeper style (or evil dungeons, what ever those games are named), and NSFW features.... just sayin. (Mods can work too...)
Most likely it was shooting the goblin you looted
This game is like satisfactory 🙂 im playing satisfactory too 🙂🙂
upgraded tools r for upgraded material harvesting.. nothing to do with increasing yield

Hey need to make big storage for gold, its just looks weird like this

Can you build a castle?
A goblin spawned right behind you, your turrets shot the goblin not you, I don't your turrets even can harm you if I'm being honest.
Yea, your turrets can kill you if you're in the way. They will likely fix that in an update.
why unusing foundation and not floors? floors look better
you should try satisfactory
