STRANDED ALIEN DAWN Basic and Simple DEFENSE

DISCLAIMER: You can exclude some advanced defenses like the TURRET, minefield, flamethrower or the stone walls if you havent unlocked them yet, I am showing my defense and happened to record them at the time I have them unlocked. Just mix and match with what you have unlocked!
With any upgrades unlocked, the point is to have big line/access with Beartraps with the gate/access open so the enemies ai pathfinding find the easiest path there and make sure its wide enough (4
boxes) so enemy goes to your killbox. With no upgrades you can just align your survivors along the killbox and use basic stick fences as the wall.

Are the torches there to help light up the area to help the shooters be more accurate? Great layout, especially effective considering no advanced weapons yet.

Hello, I know some of them are not basic, but the layout is simple and basic enough! If you see my disclaimer, I've put a note saying that the layout is basic, but my upgrades are not, but you can MIX and MATCH them with your CURRENT upgrades. This means my video also proves that it can also work quiet effective at least until 1-2 year.
It is basic, it does not need complicated mazes, too many turrets or weird stuff, just straight out a killbox and a line. The others can be adjusted accordingly.
As a comparison of my "basic" layout, you can search "overkill base stranded alien dawn" and you can see they have a bit more complicated base than me, using mazes, a straight line, and several killzones.
