Welcome to my latest video on Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel! Today, I'm showcasing a new Yubel deck that's been consistently performing well, even with just one monster on the field. This deck is perfect for those who prefer not to take the Maxx "C" challenge, yet still want to withstand and destroy the Snake Eyes Fire King full combo.

@@ferdyoktavand Nightmare Pain's effect is separate from Yubel's so when they attack any Yubel except Phantom they take damage twice: once from Nightmare Pain and once from Yubel's effect.
Nightmare Pain also let's OG Yubel, Terror Incarnate and Phantom of Yubel deal DMG by attacking since their effects (minus Phantom who doesn't have DMG reflection) normally require them to be attacked but Nightmare Pain just requires that a Yubel monster battles though they only deal DMG once since only Nightmare Pain is activating and not their effect

We live in an age where people will think more mikanko than yubel. I’m glad she got support because she’s one of the coolest cards I’ve seen
Konami made mikanko as better yubel and then did them dirty by releasing op yubel support that are just better mikanko. Now we need mikanko support that powercreeps this to finish the cycle

Your opponent summons the highest ATK monster in their possession and move into the battle phase. That monster can attack a number of times equal to the number of mikanko cards you control. That monster must attack if able.

As far I know about Yubel. Getting rid of Jaden/Judai's angry Girlfriend is no easy task. And this was the wrong way to get rid of it clearly.

Thats a lesson 0 ATK monsters with effects almost ALWAYS have some sort of BS effect in waiting

Once i was in a similar situation, but had no monsters on my side so when they attacked me i summed spirit of yubel and set nighmare pain, after activating it they poped spirit of yubel and it floats into yubel, then again and floats into terror, then into nightmare and at the end they just surrender since they had s full board in attack position ready to self otk xd

I'm pretty sure the SE player had plenty of opportunities to go into goddess... It was kinda funny to see the opp try every way imaginable to destroy the Yubels but they keep coming back. They truly are Hell incarnate.

No, the unafected monster cant negate yubel reflect damage
@@YGOMadness I was referring to if the monster is still forced to attack yubel due to nightmare pain or not because they're technically unaffected. Only asking because of how the wording on nightmare pain is.
@@GrandMasterNutBusterYoda The damage from Nightmare Pain is battle damage. Even in the case of the Yubels' damage reflection, which is effect damage, it affects the duelist, not the monster. They won't get destroyed/banished by Ultimate Nightmare/Loving Defender, but the damage will still go through.

Using Zealantis to get Yubel out of attack position was a pretty smart play.
Then they immediately screwed up by destroying it anyways (I really pity them if it was a misclick).

I'm... sorry. That's some next level tl;dr right there. Fire King procced on destruction effects... four, five times in total. They SAW that at least two cards had on-destruction summon effects. Why would you keep blowing the board up when you can plainly see that it's a horrible idea?

Nightmare pain forces the opponent to attack. He can’t just pass the turn

@@michaelirazori9214 snake-eye/fire king is the meta deck but it is not a easy deck to pilot, the combos are long and you have to adapt it to any handtrap in the way, it is honestly not surprising a player would time out with it, it is a recorded replay of the game, not live duel so they probably had to stop to think and also some connection issues sometimes take a lot of your time while you can't do anything about it.
Also lots of master duel players don't play outside of master duel, so they don't know what the new cards do day 1.
The best counterplay he should do was trying to remove nightmare pain and nightmare throne from the field as fast as possible, while holding onto flamberge's effect to put yubel in the monster zone or banish it with s:p to the point the yubel player has no resources.

Don't even try to destroy it (must either by send to gy (it's not destroy so it's not trigger yubel effect), banish or shuffle/return

Doesn't work for the second form if its removed from the field by any means (except shuffle) will summon the ultimate nightmare

You know I hate how Yubel is so meta but something about it being GX and nostalgic plus it ripping snake eyes to shreds. It beats two of my most hated decks not because i cant beat them just they are basic choices that being Snake eyes right now and Lab. Sorry lab players.
