That is great option but when I want longer video, like 15 seconds or longer. I don't have enough battery for it. Then when I change batter I can't film when it ended, it starts from the beginning of the timelapse, even the free one. Am I doing something wrong or there is nothing I can do with it?
saw a lot of nice examples where people take hundreds of raw images (to apply some color grading and stuff) just to create a hyperlapse manually. Couldn't it be done automatically as d-log video ?! Would be a smoother process and still got room for post processing.
HELP ME PLEASE? When i record i record at 23.98fps on my Air 2S when i put it into my editor Powerdirector 365 it has the video property at 23.00fps which ends up making my footage shaky/jerky. When i do the same thing with my Mini2 it does not do this the video is 23.98fps.... This is driving me crazy can someone help me please?

Make sure the drone is on and connected to the app and remote. You can't view videos without being connected to the drone, since that is where they are stored. You can view them as well as download them onto your phone. Or just pop out the SD card and load them on your computer
My new Mavic Air 2 keeps overheating. It doesn't seem to matter what settings I use or what kind of weather I fly in. It goes into a forced landing or return to home. I have sent an e-mail to support and received a message that due to covid 19 they can't respond. I counted online help in the app and was given links that don't work. Wondering if there is a U.S. number I can call to get ahold of anyone who can help?

Waypoint mission sucks badly. Why on earth can we not plan these on a map instead of wasting battery having to fly to all the points? Hubsan and Autel's implementations are so much better. I hope you are going to improve this on upcoming models.

They're not going to, it's meant to be a basic drone. That would decrease sales of the mavic air 2 meaning DJI would not make as much profit, so they wouldn't do that any time soon
Look for Mavic mini hyperlapse on TH-cam, you will find tutorials. It will require post production to make all the images a video, such as adobe premiere, or another video editor software.
Tutorial is good. However I can only assume they lost one or two drones as the batteries aren't that good to send up the drone to those heights AND get it back.

The directions are vague, the important parts are skipped over and all of the obvious stuff is dwelled on. Is there a better video to explain how to set the flight paths?

I keep getting camera angle too large when i move to set the next waypoint... not sure why. I have tried several positions, distances and options.

Why is there no 4k hyperlapse option?
Air2 can do some incredible 4K Hyperlapses, althrough not without some work in PP. Without postprocessing just some fade 1080p or shaky 8K only
You can set your hyperlapse to 4k in the main settings.

I shoot with mavic mini 2.7k and after editing it exports the file in 1080p ... the biggest nonsense👎👎
