    It was a pleasure to watch this video. He is slow and specific about what cable to use for every function, and how to make the connection. Very knowledgeable.
    I have watched other videos but the person making the video goes thru each step so fast that several rewinds are needed.

    Poe switch is enough to power the network camera?
    What is the use of power port given in camera then

    • @Tech_Inside_Out
      @Tech_Inside_Out  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your question. A POE switch is enough to power up the POE IP camera.
      The power port is used whenever you use a non POE switch in your installation in which case you will need a separate power supply unit to power up your cameras. By so doing, you will have to use the provided power port. But this process means that you will be running two cables for one camera when indeed you could use one cable and achieve thesame result.

    • @Tech_Inside_Out
      @Tech_Inside_Out  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that is possible but then because the modem does not have Power Over Ethernet (POE), you would need a POE injector to power up the camera and then connect the lan cable from the camera to the modem. Please let me know if I have addressed your question to your understanding.
