i used those replica headers too and i had to use a pry bar to force the other side onto the bolts. once they lined up i used a rubber mallet to seat them and i dont have any leaks. ive even taken them off and put them back on and they slide right on now. had them for over two years and no cracking so it was worth it
To obtain the mean Subaru sound you will need the UnEqual Length headers. The hi-flow track pipe Cat and the 4” tip Muffler will also be required. It sounds like a beast breathing and exhaling. Whole exhaust system ran me about $900 USD maybe more with heat wrap
Hello. I want to install the same system, but only Tsudo 98-05 Impreza 2.5 RS N1 JDM Burnt-Tip catback exhaust without Headers and Downpipe for my 2004 subaru forester XS. If you can help with a hint and advice, am i going to face any difficulties due to which I will not be able to install this system because i didn't installed down pipe and Headers?

Does it hang to low to slide into the hangers? The company that sells tsudo told me the downpipe wasn’t made for a forester so it will hang to low to fit in the slide plate? Any issues thanks?
Hey for 2.5x na with the ej20 na swap the exhaust system should bolt on? Correct also what would be okay for the na build no form says anything truly helpful

black electrical tape lol. i lived in washington state back then and smog check is not required there so never did anything about it. sold the rig to my cousin. wish i never did.
@ne4ious I'm trying to garage my brz and get back into old fozzys and my first mod is headers out replaced ok good to know ill take a peek and see if my oft can flash the old fozzys to delete that cel code.

Yup, you have to search for the Impreza RS version. That is what I got and it fit perfect. I had to go with with flex pipe for the headers.

feebay. search for Impreza 2.5L full high flow cat exhaust system. most all exhaust parts for impreza of same year fit.
Did you get it tuned for the exhaust?
I know I'm late to the party but how are you clearing CEL codes that come up from using the headers? Cobb AP?
