Thank you for the review, we appreciate the feedback and as always, will feed this back into our products/labels. The dilution ratios are for a 1 Litre snow foam bottle, which is the same for our pH levels. We like to be transparent with our pH levels, some companies prefer not to tell the customer, which can cause problems on degradation for more fragile protective products like waxes or sealants. In terms of price - all of our products are high concentration, bespoke formulations. None of them are 'white label' as a few comments have suggested, this is reflected in the price.
I'm quite a big fan of the Carbon Collective sealant products, I use Hybrid to top up my ceramic coating and Sateen as my tyre dressing. However, I have found their cleaning products a bit lacking at times. I am currently trying their car shampoo and some of the interior products, I'm really enjoying Nuovo as it give quite a nice finish on interior trim.
That seems really good BUT like you say Jon, that 70 quid price tag for 5L is just beyond what I’m also personally willing to pay for a snowfoam no matter how good it may be lol! I’m perhaps a bit of a dinosaur in camp Autofoam as it’s always been the one that seems to clean my road film the best. Infinity power foam was closely followed in terms of cleaning poke but again, when you’re paying 20 ish quid for Autofoam and then you’re 35+ getting powerfoam to me. Usually a tenner infinity charged if I remember correctly. 45 quid then you’re over double. And then the CC now double what the power foam was! Product may be awesome but that price tag is just a bit far for most people. That’s my rather meaningless take on it haha! Hope you’re keeping well Jon 👊😎
I really rate their citrus cleanser pre-spray on dirtiest bits, then blanket it with ultimus. Hard to beat winter combination great cleaning power and bite for winter grime.
I bought some to try a few months back, the product is very good I’ll admit..is it any better than bh touch less NO the biggest Achilles heel is definitely the price way way too expensive when there’s alternatives for a lot less
So what effect does your incoming mains water have on these products that can vary week to week from 6.4-8.6 I have to do chemical test on mains water weekly for my job..
Give the Koch Chemie Gsf a try, which is Ph-neutral and is near perfect for weekly use like Polar Blast which is nice too. If the Gsf hasn't got enough enough punch then switch to the Sf, the Super Foam. Nerta Carnet Jumbo is worth a try too. Grtz
it takes a lot of work to truely review a ceramic coating. most channels are not capable of doing it and I cant be bothered to do it because it will yeild like 10 pounds view revenue but take months and months of testing.
You should test polish brands like adbl and FX protect. FX protect gravity is best pre wash. And adbl synthetic spray wax is without a doubt number one spray wax ( resistance and hydrophobicity)
i have 50 meter coiled hoselock hose feeding it. if you use a short hose at freshlayers it doesnt seem to do it. Id say thats a supply issue in my case.
Interesting. Reading the back of the bottle- leave for 5-10 minutes, I was thinking 10 minutes was a bit optimistic as most snowfoams generally run off and not cling. Impressed by the clingage. The price is definitely an issue. Bilt Hamber was £23 for 5ltrs, £70 is just not even a consideration.
@@davida7713 Molecule has a 9h hardness and has awesome gloss. Tip: use quality microfiber towels to level the coating, i use klin korea dual side towels, they are the best for coatings.
That price is ridiculous for 5L, not for me Jon! First thing I thought looking at it was is that just 8 Below in another bottle. Would make sense as I think it was possibly a white label product so not specific to Wax Planet. Could be wrong, that is only speculation on my part but it looks remarkably similar on application.
Will be some people who will buy it im with you on the priceing just think it’s a bit over the top considering there is such a large range of decent foams out there
same dilution ratio in one persons lance could yield radically different PIR, due to various flow rates around hose pipe input, pressure wash output, and snow foam lance through put. So you might think its unneccesary, but you have no knowledge of fomulating detergent blends to clean. If you did you would understand PIR is the only way to work. but hey ho, the world keeps spinning.
@@ForensicDetailing So, it's only applicable if using a snow foam lance 🤔Pretty sure I've heard PIR used for things like Surfex HD which isn't generally used in a snow foam lance 🙄
Still going m8 I get messages from patreons everyday. Recent changes to the app though are not helping. Need to have a think how to turbo charge it to give more fun.
Autobrite magifoam clings for 20-30 minutes easily, only 60ml in a 1000ml bottle is more than enough, creates very thick foam with some good cleaning powers. Best is, it's half the price for 5l compared to this one...
Carbon collective makes the longest beeping and clingiest snow foam. I wouldn’t recommended this product for bugs as it doesn’t do a great job. When it comes to winter grime however it’s amazing and arguably the best especially if you want something coating safe.
They’re all pretty much coating safe anyway. For the amount of time a snow foam is on the car none of them are going to do anything to a coating unless it’s not been applied correctly.
Agree! Im Also user of BH products! They are great! Question! Any good products which strips off soft 99 fuso coat end of the 12! Month maybe more still holding up well!! I’m planning to use it again only wanted a clean panel will use clay and panel clean but first need something good enough that strips for beginning! Thanks.
First I saw of this product was the other day when Johnny Smith was washing and reviewing the Kia EV9, at least the long dwell allowed it to dwell as he talked us round the design, I did wince when I saw him use the dirt blaster to rinse it off mind 🫣

Good honest review as always Jon ! It does remind me of that wax planet snow foam!

Any plans to start your Forensic Cookery channel?
Your braised beef looked epic! 😋

Jon,You should test the Carbon Pressure Washer Gun.
Carbon collective is the best!!👌🏻
Ha! £69 for 5L. Wow, even for Carbon Collective and their brand tax, they've outdone themselves there.
Cracking video.
£70 for 5L? Think I'll stick to Bilt Hamber Touchless thank you.

Excellent TFR that doesn't seem to strip any waxes.
WOULD a watering can of warm water over the car then apply the snow foam make it more effective at removing grease?
if you had grease on the car hot water would help... but you would not prewash with a watercan of hot water mate.
I'll stick with Autoglym Polar Blast which is a neutral snow foam and a citrus prewash.
Give the Koch Chemie Gsf a try, which is Ph-neutral and is near perfect for weekly use like Polar Blast which is nice too.

Can you please review their ceramic coat lite? No real in-depth reviews anywhere I’ve seen

they dont have reliable UK distribution.
John, how do you calculate PIR😉
Would you be better buying the small ph testing strips to tell what your ph is
I have electronic one
I had the exact issue with my Ava pressure washer and it got replaced that what you called stalling water is a fault.
i have 50 meter coiled hoselock hose feeding it. if you use a short hose at freshlayers it doesnt seem to do it. Id say thats a supply issue in my case.

the clingage was next level. never seen one stay intact for that long.
Isn't the idea that it does have some shiftage, in order to move the dirt off?
No. The foam softens the dirt & breaks it's bond with the clearcoat so it rinses off under pressure.
The coatings of carbon collective molecule and nero 🔥🔥🔥
I’ve just bought molecule so good to see you recommend it . Many have said it’s there best ceramic coating they offer

Have you covered the Yum Cars product range? They do a very good foaming wheel acid.
Better off buying direct from car chem cos that’s who yum cars source their liquids from!
Will be some people who will buy it im with you on the priceing just think it’s a bit over the top considering there is such a large range of decent foams out there
Just imagine how good the foam would be with a decent pressure washer.
What in the name of God is PIR? what does it stand for when talking about liquids?
It's stands for panel impact ratio
@@reecehandley4662 Sounds so much more unnecessary than just saying dilution ratio, or ratio.

Jon, what's the deal with the old Patreon community? Have you completely forgotten about us?😢
Still going m8 I get messages from patreons everyday. Recent changes to the app though are not helping. Need to have a think how to turbo charge it to give more fun.
That's ok Jon, it seems like there might be an issue on my end. The last update I see from you was on January 8th.
Guessing this was shot in June, because i ain't seen no sun in months
shot recently mate.

Nice :) Good video as always. Probably not for me as I don't think its better than touchless, and the price. Sorry CC.
Like an Alabama tick 😂 great film
£70 for 5 litres when you get 5 litres of Bilt Hamber for less than half of that I'm afraid it won't be joining my wash collection
£70 squid!! 😮
£70 for snow foam! Give it a miss and stick with BH.

👃12:30 not deep enough Jon 😂
£70 makes it nearly £3 a wash. For that price, for a pre wash, absolutely not.
"...at least my mothers gravy moved "
lol alabama tick...........somebodies been watching predator :)
70 quid lol
