So thankful to have learned to fish way before electronics! I love a worm - reason I clicked -but I'd never have or want more than a depth finder to make sure I'm running the big motor safely. When I'm on the trolling motor or paddling down a bank or even on off a point... I use my experience. Catch a ton.
@@fisherarmour5341 I hear ya... but if they'd put in the time on some creeks, ponds, and small lakes...they'd also have built a base of knowledge that works even if the batteries die on the video game screens in the boats nowadays. Sounds grumpy and old i know... but it is nice to not have to depend on a screen. Ok, enough soapbox, Haha. Have a great day and good fishing!
Thank you for the tip! I’ll tie a worm on next trip out. The water temp in my neck of the woods is upper 40s right now. I’ve been having limited success (2 or 3 fish per outing) with a jerk bait, gold blade bait, black and blue gig with South African trailer and a shaky head rig.
Fish a private pond with electronics and you expect anyone to take you seriously? Dang man this is the stuff that makes real fisherman not want any products your promoting lol.
I have a buddy who almost exclusively drags a 6” robo worm year round. The guy always I mean always catches bass and big ones too! He throws other baits but I’d say 80% of the time he’s dragging a worm slow… like really slow! From cast to boat he’ll drag that worm for 10-15 minutes per cast! I do not have the patience!!!
I can say I almost all my big bass are from rubber worms . Not saying other products haven’t worked but I’m in Rhode Island and mass it seems to always work
Gerry Taylor Funny, a few months ago I sold around $500+ of my tackle so I could both get back to the basics and fish my strengths! It’s amazing how little one needs to constantly put bass in the boat! I have to credit for most of my decisions to Tactical Bassin on ( TH-cam ). I highly recommend watching every single video that they, Matt and Tim have posted over the last few years. I’d have and it’s allowed me to narrow down my strengths bigly! Now, for me, it’s Texas rigged plastics, wacky rigged senko, keiteck swimbaits, swimjigs, blade baits and tailspins, jerkbaits and giant swimbaits and glide baits! That’s all I throw now! Tight lines buddy 🎣👍
Tony Tube You should have seen the masses of baits I had, and never used! Simple, if I were to go trout fishing in a pond , lake, creek, river or stream, I would use I only two baits, a size 1&2 Panther Martin spinner, and a tiny Repala jerkbait. When fishing for bass, I believe it’s best to master or be effective with at least 4-5 techniques. Bass seem to fallow a very strict seasonal, food and movement pattern. They have a very distinct lateral line, smell, and eyesight. They tend to feed on the available forage that is available during the specific time of year. Hence, having the proper bait presentation is critical! Understand and study the bait, then know what lure to throw threw out the seasons. It’s all about food, water temps, time of year and the availability of forage!
@@stevencaldwell838 thing is I used big swim baits caught a few fish nothing huge , tried chatterbaits got zero fish blah blah blah . Rubber worms always work . I only fish about 25 times a year but I go hard when I go . Whopper plopper and frogs also my go to baits both get big bass here .
I use a float tube, three rods and my experience.Caught 20 bass over 5 lbs,7 over 6lbs,and 5 over 7lb last year on a public highly pressured resevoirs in so cal.I'll take stealth and knowledge over electronics 80 percent of the time.Winter is a different animal cause those electronics can put you on monsters.winter is short here thankfully lol
@@datruthhurts3984 what’s the chances of fishing CA with you? I come to CA a ton. I know some great places and guessing you do too. I kayak and float tube.

Kudos bro but with new water or inexperienced guys you need it

@@Motorcyclewindtherapy i feel that man. I hope you catch atleast a 6 pounder every time you go. Take care
That’s what is up. I wonder if there are tournaments with no finders

Thanks for taking time to make the video.
Stocked pond ?
Hate these videos that fish stocked ponds. What they do there mostly doesn’t work for us regular folks who can’t fish these places.
This technique works darn near everywhere and gets bites from highly pressured or otherwise negative fish.
My new power bait to try!
It's a cool profile and definitely gets bit! And how can a bass resist the smell?

@@stevencaldwell838 That is still a lot of baits. Why not just Texas rigged plastics and wacky worm?

Good video. Thanks for sharing it
Thanks for watching Tony.
Good way to study fish
Patterns of the fish
definitely a pond
I like 👍👍👍
Wish we could see that bait in public pressured water
We recon that a well-designed worm would perform everywhere as they always have.
There goes another spot of mine😑
he pulled the fish out of the water with no hook in the mouth
He probably recreated the moment several times to get it right. The are making mini educational movies, not documentaries.
Go fish on a real public lake. Wire2fish always fishing private ponds or lakes . Not everyone have livescope lol
We rarely fish or film on private ponds.
Live killed fishing.
man the video was bad unfortunately
It's unfortunate it takes 3 grand worth of electronics to catch fish.
Since when? Guys are still using flashers and 2D units to catch fish.
