I work at a dispensary in chicago suburbs as an armed guard. When I take my lunch, I have to stay on the property and can't go off it which is fine. I bring a cooler in my car, and I'm in the parking lot or sometimes in the back Room. when a delivery comes. I'm out there. Greeting the delivery driver and watching everything as they move product from in and out of the store. Also, I'm here to protect the customers and employees had a few crazy. Customers get pretty nasty with employees, so I'm here to protect them and often walked them out to their cars. The staff at my dispensary thinks very highly of me and they always say how they feel so secure and safe when I'm there on duty. I like my job a lot and I'm dressed professionally. I wear a armor vest with taser firearm. Flashlight. 3 mags and I just looked apart. I do get a lot of respect from the customers too but I am always on my toes.
