Hi Rob, iv'e run into a issue i'm having with my PS270 and your mentioning of a longer body on the hp c plus is something i could do with,, i've got massive hands about the size of Tyson Fury's,, if i take the body off whilst airbrushing im actually bending the back of the needle as i hold the brush, so i have to keep the body on, do you know of a longer body that will fit the ps270 or a body that will fit that has the cut outs please..thankyou..

Unfortunately IWATA dscontinued their all time greatest brush the HP-BE1. It had a massive body. It was rather a cannon than a gun. You also can drill a body yourself if needed. It's not too difficult, you just need a turning lathe and a piece of plastic. Actually you can do it with any electric drill and glue a suitable thread in. I customize all my airbrushes bodies because they look boring anyway and the least I do is paint them over.

Great review as always mate, Iwata has a huge selection of airbrushes it's often difficult to know what to go for but with your reviews it should steer people in the right direction👌👍

Another great product from Iwata, what is that thing you use to clean your needle off and do you keep it wet with cleaner or something

Would the mac valve be worth it on the CH for an extra £50? Was thinking the creos 289 0.3 might be similar to these, but I hear they're more like an eclipse.

Hi the mac valves are great on brushes 👍it goes down to you if you like this style of brush I would probably say the ps270 0.2mm
With a mac valve is your best bet

@@dredfxcustompaint I'd love to try the 270, but I use liquitex acrylic. Might cause more problems than not going smaller than a 0.3. If the creos' atomize just as well at low pressure for tinting drawings, I'll not be needing super fine lines. I'm guessing the mac valve will really help at that. Cheers

For any stroke you plan to paint Iwata offers another pricy gun. After a few days into airbrushing with that company one will have to file for bankruptcy. Let alone the spare parts. Their guns are good machines but not as good as the money machine they are themselves.

They spend most of the money on propaganda advertizing, not their products nor customer service, you'll have to reimburse them for all that hype and so hence the prices, lol, bad marketing matrix!
