I flew them last year from to London. All flights were great! Lovely crew, ife worked. Nice food. No complaints. Better than my Qatar Airways experience
I flew with Malaysia Airlines MH149 to Melbourne but on their A330-300. I would have to agree with you regarding the entertainment system. People pay good money for the flight and some people pay more to have the In Flight Entertainment. You should have complain and they will compensate you at least something cause it's your rights. Don't get me wrong but I do fly a lot with Malaysia Airlines and I love flying with them. Majority of flights were no problem but when there are some downsides you have to voice out. That's what the crews always told me. Now they will be using their A330 neos so you should at least give them another try. Sorry to hear the unpleasant experience. 😊
I flew with them to Xiamen and back. They used Boeing 737-800. There's no LCD and expect everyone to connect to inflight WiFi to play movies using their own device. I didn't bring along my earphones so I can't use it. It was quite a big disappointment.
When I flew with Malaysia airlines in January from UK to Malaysia on A350 my inflight entertainment also didn’t work for the whole 12 hours. Luckily the on board Wi-Fi worked. When we landed Malaysian airlines did give compensation of 25% rebate one way on the same route but had to use in 6 months.
Airlines don't pay for disappointment, etc. I flew with SQ down to Brisbane on Business Class with pre-ordered meals. Meals never get prepared and I was starved the whole flight. Told the crews and upon learning my situation they never offered me with the alternative but chose to ignore me the whole flight. Coming back was even worse, upon arrival into Changi we were transferred to their Silk Air (no longer in service), a low cost transport despite a business class ticket KUL - SIN - BNE - KUL. Lodged a few complaints with nothing positive came back. In short, I learned something that airlines does not care if they cannot address your specific needs and moreover, when you fly economy. So, learn to be economy. Ps: this is from my experience. So, next time when I fly any airlines I am no longer set any standard.
Great review mate, really dissapointing to see the screens not working and the boarding process at Kuala Lumpur airport, hopefully they can learn from this
Sorry to say I flew with a lot of flight, but Malaysian Airlines is better than other Airlines such as .......... It is like traveling by express buses in Malaysia..
Good video! Bit unfortunate the screens wouldn't work, although you fell asleep on the plane (which I can't do). Also wish you were on their inaugural flight on the new aircraft to make it a bit more special, but you can't win them all.
Agree! I flew in Oct. There was no wifi. The seat I paid for with extra legroom was given to other passengers on code sharing! They enjoyed the seats that I paid extra for. I was moved to the row behind. The entire flight had babies crying non stop. The return flight was the same with babies n children crying non stop. Very bad experience and I won't fly MAS to Melbourne again!
I fly with malaysia airlines often and i agree with boarding process but i disagree on the inflight entertainment, very rare i guess. You should inform the crew on board or later via email later.
This is my first time seeing Malaysia Airlines A350 without an IFE...I'm sorry for the inconvenience on behalf of Malaysians. It's kinda disappointing for those who are travelling with children. Broken IFE is definitely something people would get mad on. I still loved flying with Malaysia Airlines but..A350 with broken IFE is very not good.
Man, I miss the Golden Lounge! I haven't been there since 2019. I used to fly MH so often that the lounge was almost like my 2nd home. The food there is always great. Ground service in KLIA is always a little iffy, they do not handle issues very well. The amount of flights I've had with MH, the A350 has eluded me so far. I can hear the manual announcements for the safety demo, suppose that's done when the TVs don't work. Gasp! You missed a meal altogether?! 😅 FYI, the ground handler is a separate entity which MH has no control over.
nothing great about golden lounge now many new lounge in KLIA flight club serve much better food and plaza premium too. Only advantage for.golden lounge is the size that is all
Very unfortunate for a red-eye 8 hour flight on a full service carrier to not have the IFE working in any seat - was there no announcement or apologies at all? That’s disappointing. At least the breakfast and lounge was good. Even though you missed it, do you know what the offerings were for the dinner service?
hard to believe that in A new A350 the IFE did not work, if so Air Asia would have been a better option!! How come if the chicken and beef was so good you did not eat all the chicken????
I will nvr fly MH for any flights longer than two hours...nothing personal but their aircraft usually aging ..their product nvr consistent...last year was a disaster asking pax to bring their own food!
Horrible airline! My son booked on Melbourne -Kuala Lumpur - Kochi. They cancelled the first leg - leading him to spend 16 hours at the KL airport. Accommodation & food was denied
Dont worry, with the support of hardcore fanboys from Malaysia airlines facebook groups, the airline shall continue to prosper while offering shitty service hahahaha
@ think you will find all those at call centre’s within Malaysia actually do speak English..it’s actually a requirement by the airline not just to speak Bahasa but English too
Fly AirAsia as you can choose your food and entertainment package and pay for them or just sleep all the way and not pay for anything extra. You have a choice. Better selection of food that even Qantas 😂😂

why was it better than QR?

but this aircraft is extremely new
Probably it has not settle down yet.😊

That's as good as not giving anything, especially for non-frequent flyers.
Very informative flight review Aidan, always so very interesting mate.
Mate, would like to know about how did you get access to the lounge by using credit cards or?
Think he said “ guest” and after the boarding pass was handed over the video skipped, probably due to payment
I always enjoyed malaysia airlines. Good food, cheap price and on time arrival.
Best way if not like hear babies crying buy your own aircraft without noise...
Have you seen their business class seats? They look exaclty like the dialysis chair you find in the kidney care centre!

I believe the A350 are leased from SAS of Scandinavia or something like that to replace the sold A380.

byk komplen nk selesa beli jet sndirilh, ni mcm agen negara sblh😊
Let’s review the main aviation safety conventions as are mentioned at the start of each flight! Uh-huh!!

cari penerbangan yang tidak membenarkan kanak2 dan bayi naik pesawat
Almost every airlines has passengers carring babies crying in the plane it's not issue bcz as u was also baby n cried lot...
Had the same experience in Mh back when they had 747-400s still. Must be awful for the crew as they would cop it big time

A350 mostly flight for economy not have tv's which based on cost that is.

bro that is standard for economy , why everyone hate economy is save option not premuim option .Broken mental say like that .
@@amirfakhribadri7994Well MH is a premium airline. I think you can expect such things if you pay a price
They should announce the broken system. Issue a apology and some compensation as it's included in the ticket. The crew probably not properly trained.
Gate C1, that’s where Mh370 parked
Tf is you talking bout
@@abarkingdawgyou can check on Google which gate does passenger of mh370 board and it will tell you gate c1
Most airlines don't give a f about quality especially when times are good. Seriously.
Very good service😂
If you fly a lot of course you will have bad experience at least once in your lifetime. Its normal. Cheers
hard to believe that in A new A350 the IFE did not work, if so Air Asia would have been a better option!! How come if the chicken and beef was so good you did not eat all the chicken????
its happened many times
Oh gosh

U speak English.. Well u need to make efforts to try n learn the country's language as we we were in France or Spain they were not friendly at all
Horrible airline! My son booked on Melbourne -Kuala Lumpur - Kochi. They cancelled the first leg - leading him to spend 16 hours at the KL airport. Accommodation & food was denied
@00:51 come on man
You were game flying with them
Dont worry, with the support of hardcore fanboys from Malaysia airlines facebook groups, the airline shall continue to prosper while offering shitty service hahahaha
lol asking a Malaysian if they speak English!🤣🤣🤣 couldn’t make it up
well the marketing goons who spam me with calls usually cant speak English and hang up when I ask them to speak BI
@ think you will find all those at call centre’s within Malaysia actually do speak English..it’s actually a requirement by the airline not just to speak Bahasa but English too
@@dabsy123 yes 100% agree. not everyone is aware hence the comments.
